This was another one that reminded me of The Messiest Monster but I found that this one wasn't quite as enjoyable as that one, though the illustrations were still beautiful and I loved the story, I still highly recommend these
I was sent this E-Arc on Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review
Such a fun read and colorful read! My daughter loved it. It's quite a quick read, but one that we won't mind reading again and again.
I thought this story was cute and relatable for children. I think that it teaches a valuable lesson. Any child who reads it will feel the excitement and calmness of the main character. All the illustrations are engaging and kids may feel like jumping around with the character. I suggest this book to any parent looking for a fun read.
Love Always, Catherine
Another wonderfully illustrated and a nice story about controlling your body and learning how to calm yourself when necessary.
Great story to start discussion about ways to harness energy in kiddos. To acknowledge that it is okay to have energy and you need to get it out!!
Becks is the bounciest little monster on Mill Street. She quickly learns through many hilarious situations: "Bouncing and bouncing and bouncing is fun, but if you're not careful, things might come undone."
Cute little read. My 5 year old with ADHD definitely related to Becks. It's so nice for kids to see themselves reflected in a story. The text is a nice rhyming sort and illustrations are bright and colorful. I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Loved this book and the other two from this author! So light and rhyme-y but also appealing to littles with bright colors, relatable characters with big feelings. Highly recommend for the little ones in your life.
Read this with my kids, we all enjoyed it. We enjoy the book series of other emotions & use it as a learning tool. Thank you for a copy.
As a parent to a pretty "bouncy" kid, I really appreciated this book. It gave me a good opportunity to talk through how to handle extra energy with my daughter. What a fun story with a practical application!
An excellent read, perfect for story times with kiddos that have a ton of energy. Fun to read one on one or as a group
After reading the messiest monster on mill street, I knew this would be a hit too. And boy was I right! He loved to bounce with the monster saying boncy monster bouncy monster!
The Bouciest Monster on Mill Street by Sarah Sparks was on repeat for two weeks in our house. My 3-year-old loved it. She was excited every time we started to read the book.
The book is so good, so bright and great
The Bounciest Monster on Mill Street was another amazing children's book by Sarah Sparks! I loved the Messiest Monster on Mill Street and this was just as adorable if not even more! Once again, the illustrations by Sypha Vendez were phenomenal, and I would recommend this book to everyone.
Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.
Absolutely loved this social story. It will be great to read with small groups in school. Very helpful for staying in your space.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Such a cute and colorful book! The story is about a monster with a lot of energy and ways he can use his energy. The book seems to be geared towards 2-6 years of age. The illustrations were also bright and beautiful.
Me and my children enjoyed this story with all the characters within. Its about a monster that likes to bounce a lot. She likes bouncing everywhere. One day she decides to bounce high and high up. But something happens with bouncing to higher up.
This was a fun story to read. It had action and adventure throughout. It had a few giggles within. The illustrations were colorful and went with the story well.
I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
This book is a wonderful children's book. I would recommend this for ages 3 and up
This teaches about what happens when the bounciest little monsters keep bouncing into things. And how he should try to stay calm.
This was a very bright and colorful book and the main character was simply put, cute. The illustrations were very rich in color. I love the underlying lesson that is within the story. My toddler liked these but he wasn’t overly excited about reading them, however I would definitely recommend for ages 2-6 years.
Pleasantly rhymed, adequately drawn, this looks at an excessively bouncy monster – the kind that can do superlative, and very annoying, bounces – and what happens when it all comes crashing down to earth. This feels a little uneven – the hyperbole of her bouncing and the mediocre slapstick that proves she ought to calm down a bit don't exactly match, and it feels like we're forced to carry on past the ending to see the moral of the piece having an effect. But it's still not too bad – many books have an inferior mix of entertainment and lesson.
I thought this was a cute story. The rhyming didn't work as much for me as it did in the Angriest monster book by the author. It felt forced in some places. The illustrations are still nice and I think it's great to help teach kids how to calm and not have to be moving at every second if they are able to help control it themselves.
