This is a good book. The two main characters are Rachel and Michael. They went to college together and broke up. Rachel is going a two week wedding cruise for her cousin. Michael is on the cruise too as he is the best man. The cruise is to Hawaii and back. They start to rehash their problems. They start dating. They fall in love.

The characters were well developed and I loved getting to know them
The story was on of trust issues and misunderstandings which led to romance after knowing all the facts. It was a romantic and sexy story.

Rachel Hennessey always puts her career first. When an important client pushes up the launch date on an important project just before she leaves on a 2 week cruise for her cousin's wedding, she can't skip the trip because she's the bridesmaid, but she can certainly work most of the time she's on board.

Michael Porter never thought he'd see Rachel again. They were in school together, but after they had a hot and spicy hookup on a single night, she ghosted him, and he never knew why. When they both end up on a two-week cruise together for the wedding of mutual friends, the two finally clear the air. But can they get over 10 years of negative thoughts of each other?

I really wanted to like this. The set up is perfect, the characters are set up with interesting backgrounds, and the plot is interesting. But for me, the writing just wasn't particularly engaging. I liked the characters individually, but their interactions and connection just felt contrived to me. The plot was very predictable. Unfortunately, this was just okay for me.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced digital reader's copy (ARC) in exchange for an honest review!

Intrigue, loyalty, twist and turns, conflicting emotions, and complex characters are some of the things that make up this delicious story. Gwen weaves a tale that captivates the reader from the first to the last word. Well done Gwen. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
