I read A Wedding in Driftwood Cove, by Olivia Miles. Thank you for the advance copy. I enjoyed the book, it was a nice, light read. The sister dynamics seemed very authentic and the situations believable. It was a good solid storyline, however I do not see this as an exceptional book or a can’t put it down book. I rated it 3 out of 5.

Wedding in Driftwood Cove was a delight! Second chance romance, homecoming and sisters reuniting all in the midst of a quick change in wedding plans. Hallie and Josh planning to be married in the near future suddenly have a change in venue and are to be married in a week. Amy the event planner sister losing her job to go help and finding old love again and Amy the estranged sister coming to the wedding with her work hubby Gabe... do they find love also? A very emotional read

This was an enjoyable easy read with the happy endings you sometimes need in a book.
Three sisters returning to the family home for the youngest sisters wedding. All three of them are in someway unsatisfied with their lives but unsure how to change.
You follow the sisters in alternating chapters as the wedding day comes close. It’s a very easy read and you can guess the happy endings but that does not detract from the enjoyment.
Thanks to Mortlake and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A Wedding in Driftwood Cove is a charming, cozy romance, a perfect read for a quiet weekend or a day at the beach! The characters are relatable, everyone knows a Hallie, Claire or Amy and many of us have found ourselves in their shoes.

Returning to their childhood beachside home for the first time since their father's death they are hoping to create happier memories this time around - it's Hallie's wedding day!

Hallie is head over heals in love with her husband to be, or at least she should be but she's not really feeling it. Is it just nerves or something else?

Coming back home brings mixed feelings for middle sister, Amy as she fears standing face to face with the childhood crush, the man who left her to marry someone else.

Finally, oldest sister Claire does not believe in ever after - she works as a divorce lawyer and had seen more than her fair share of bad relationships and even worse breakups. Her plus one, is her "work husband", someone who quickly becomes a firm favourite with the rest of the family.

With the wedding as the catalyst the sister finally get time and courage to share what has troubled them for quite some time.

This was an amazing tale - hopeful, heart warming and inspirational.

A really cute read about sisters coming together. It was a quick read that I was able to burn through in a couple of hours. Three sisters Hallie, Amy, and Claire are reunited for Hallie's wedding after a year of estrangement. They have completely different approaches to their love lives and difficulties . Honestly, I didn't really like Claire, she had almost no redeeming qualities being a type A workaholic who has no interest in love. I feel like her story was very stagnant and then suddenly wrapped up. Overall a good contemporary novel, I wouldn't call it a romance , but a reuniting of family and the strengthening of a sister bond. I received an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

"A Wedding in Driftwood Cove" is a heartwarming and emotionally resonant tale of family, love, and the complexities of sisterhood. Set against the backdrop of a picturesque seaside wedding, this novel explores the bonds that tie siblings together and the secrets that can threaten to tear them apart.

The story revolves around the three Walsh sisters: Claire, the pragmatic and divorce-weary eldest sister; Amy, the middle sister who carries the scars of a past heartbreak; and Hallie, the youngest sister who is about to get married. Each sister is dealing with her own set of personal challenges and hidden secrets, and as they reunite for Hallie's wedding at their family's beach house, the narrative delves into the dynamics of their relationships.

One of the strengths of the book is the authenticity of the sisterly bonds portrayed by the author. The interactions, conflicts, and affection between the sisters feel genuine and relatable. Readers will easily connect with the complex mix of love, rivalry, and support that defines sibling relationships.

The characters are well-developed and undergo significant growth throughout the story. Claire's journey from a skeptic of love to someone willing to open her heart is particularly poignant. Amy's struggle to confront her past and find closure is another emotional highlight, while Hallie's pre-wedding jitters add a layer of relatability to her character.

The seaside setting is vividly described, creating a charming and idyllic backdrop for the unfolding drama. The author's attention to detail allows readers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the beach house and the coastal town, adding to the book's overall atmosphere.

As the sisters confront their hidden secrets and buried emotions, the narrative explores themes of forgiveness, redemption, and the enduring power of familial love. It beautifully portrays the idea that even in the face of past mistakes and misunderstandings, family remains a source of strength and support.

A Wedding in Driftwood Cove is a touching and heartfelt story that will resonate with anyone who values the bonds of family. It's a tale of reconciliation and self-discovery, with a touch of romance and a backdrop of a seaside wedding that adds to the charm of the narrative. Olivia Miles delivers a warm and engaging novel that celebrates the complexities and enduring love of sisterhood.

A Wedding in Driftwood Cove follows three sisters as they meet up at their childhood holiday home for the youngest sister, Hallie's wedding to her childhood sweetheart Josh. The sisters have some differences but want to put them aside for Hallie's wedding, the key issue being that Claire, the eldest sister, questioned Hallie's decision to get married in the first place. There is also the fact that being back in Driftwood Cove brings back mixed memories for the sisters, including Amy, the middle sister, and her dislike of being involved with weddings and coming face to face with her childhood friend, Logan.

This book was slow but I found it interesting enough to keep going, gradually becoming more invested with the story of each sister. I did want to see how things worked out in the end for each of them. I felt like there was a fair bit of repetition with the issues each of them had, more so because they were raised each time the perspective changed between the three of them. All the drama was left for the last ten to fifteen per cent of the book. Of all the characters, I liked Gabe best, though the others were all likeable. Thank you Montlake and NetGalley for the ARC.

Loved this story of these three sisters, Claire, Amy and Hallie. Claire is a divorce attorney and made a comment about Hallie being to young to get married and hadn't visited Driftwood Cove for awhile, Amy is an event planner that hasn't been home for a while either as she has some past issues to forget. Hallie is the only one who stayed and is marrying her long time boyfriend Josh. Hallie has her dream wedding plans and has always stayed in Driftwood. On the day before her wedding when Hallie has doubts the sisters get together and tell secrets that they have held in. To reveal all of this would spoil the story. THIS IS A VERY GOOD READ from OLIVIA MILES.

Hallie, Claire and Amy have grown apart after the death of their father and other events. Although, they were adults at the time, his death caused them to avoid reminders of him. This avoidance included holidays and enjoying their beautiful home in Driftwood Cove. They all come together for Hallie's wedding and some secrets are revealed. This novel is very realistic and can depict what can happen to families when secrets are kept after someone's death. Many readers will be able to relate to this and the feelings the women describe. Most people have had the first holiday where someone important was missing from the table. Additionally, it provides lessons about holding grudges, losing contact with important people in your life, and not telling someone how you really feel about them. Olivia Miles is an excellent writer, I now will be looking for other books by this author.

This book was about a wedding that brought the whole family together. Sisters coming together and trying to heal from past hurts by each other and unrequited love all while trying to setup a wedding that unexpectedly has to take place in 2 weeks because the venue double booked. If you have a sister or sisters you know there can be some drama and hurt feelings that linger over your life. It was sweet how the sisters came together to make this wedding what their youngest sister wanted, to replicate their parents wedding. I like the old loves and new unexpected loves that came into the picture for the girls. Was surprised by a twist near the end and the cold feet of the youngest. All in all it was a good book taking the reader on a lovely journey and a sweet ending.

Thank you NetGalley for the arc. What a wonderful story about sisterhood and the unconditional love that comes with it. I thought all the characters were very likable and relatable, especially with their faults. We're all human after all.

I found the story to be a slow burner, and not being sure if it was for me. However once I stuck to reading it I did grow to really enjoy it. The book is quite light hearted and an easy read. Unusual for a romance, the book focuses more on the relationships between the sisters with their individual romances being placed almost as side stories. The story overall is really heart-warming and a nice light read particularly for fans of romance novels.
