Really really wish these were published directly to trade paperback vs hardback. Readers for this author are not the hardback purchasing type, and honestly it's not a $30 book. Love the author and her writing but it's one to keep in the $18 range with a trade paperback.

As I had not read the first book in this Crossfire series, I could not get in to it and honestly had trouble following the plot line. This is not the fault of the author, but 'operator error' so to speak. I researched Sylvia Day and found that she has quite the following with favorable reviews. Given that we own her other book in my public library, I would encourage it for public libraries to purchase 'Too Far'. Perhaps I will give it another try if and when I read her first book.

Incredibly disappointed by this sequel. I really thought we would have more of Kane’s pov as he is genuinely interesting but instead we were stuck reading more about Amy, Aliyah, and Witte. The book turned into a soap opera and it just felt like too much was going on. Lily and Kane’s marriage and secrets is good to enough to carry a book on its own. I’m just not sure why the author felt the need to concentrate on everything but that. Kane’s single POV at the end was much better than those other three povs.
