This book was a great way to have fall Romance but also clean romance. I would have loved to see less of the MMC povs and more of the FMC pov. A lot of authors on kindle write really well and I love that they team up for series like these, but I want to see single POV series.

This is the kick-off to the Sweater Weather series; it's multiple authors and each book is a standalone. This story, set in the charming town of Harvest Hollow, brings together the thrill of hockey with the warmth of small-town romance, making it a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Logan Barnes, isn’t just a hockey star; he’s also the boy who broke Parker’s heart years ago. Now, he’s back in town to recover from an injury and some unfavorable media coverage. The tension between Logan and Parker, the social media manager for the Appies, is tangible from the start.

I loved Parker's role as the team’s social media manager. It added a fun twist to the story. Watching her get a reluctant Logan to participate in TikTok trends—provided plenty of humor and light-hearted moments. Logan is the classic tough guy with the gooey center that does unexpected sweet things that make us swoon.

Things I loved:
*Fancy Chair
*Logan’s dancing
*Appies shenanigans
*Parker's sticky notes

This is a great start to a what looks like a fun series. If you’re a fan of second-chance romances with a sports twist, this book is a must-read. I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley. All opinions in this review are my own.

This is a 5 star read if you are a 15 year old who wants to wait 270 (out of like 300) pages for a professional NHL player to kiss the love of his life. But, if you are a 25 year old women who loves fake dating, hockey romances and older brothers ex best friend tropes… nope

In my opinion i really like the book, its easy to read and it was fun but i think it takes a lot of time for the main characters to just have a kiss.

I'm aware they ate different premises. But there were so many of the same vibes that this book gave me to a Hallmark Christmas movie this past year. And I absolutely am here for it!!! Haha.

I am such a sucker for the whole Brothers best friend trope. And I immediately found myself struggling to put this beauty down haha.

It was everything I wanted and more. Plus any hockey romance is a plus in my book haha. Then add in a grumpy brooding man... SOLD!

I really enjoyed the pacing of this book though too. It was a an easy read for me agter so many heavy fantasy books. And I needed that change of pace. And the "low spice" was a welcome change up as well too. I know... crazy hahha. But I do enjoy less spice as much as I do high spice if the relationships are done right. And this one was just that.

Plus I adored all the characters.

It isn't hard to see if you follow my reviews that I don't particularly like a lot of FMC, but as have been a lot of the ones lately (hopefully that's a good thing showing a change up of FMCs here lately) but I really liked Parker.
And Logan wasn't hard to like too haha.

I would definitely suggest this one to anyone looking for a good low spice romance.

5 stars from me!

It was a cute romance books, nothing major happened. If you are need of a palate cleanser this is your book! I don’t think I’ll be reading the other books in the series, unless I am in the mood of cuteness overload.

Thank you to Netgalley and Victory Editing for allowing me to read this ARC.🏒

This book was cute enough and a quick read when I finally got hooked in. It was maybe a little outlandish to have never kissed someone by age 25 in this day age and then the whole book slow burned to a kiss was maybe a little unusual, but the dialogue was cute. I think maybe being in my 30's this was probably a little flat for me and the undertones of occasion prude thoughts around kissing and sex could have been left out, since to me they were a little off putting, but overall cute story. I wish the author had jumped in a little more to the reconnection between Brandon and Logan, I feel like we jumped a bit without much detail about what happened. I like the authors writing though, I'd be intrigued to read other books.

I loved this, despite not normally liking sport based romances. Logan and Parker's fake romance was fun, the guys on the team were likeable and the grand gestures made me both laugh and cry. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

Emma St. Clair is one of my favorite authors and I definitely can't wait to see what else she writes. This was a wonderful book and was an easy and quick read.

Parker and Logan are childhood best friends, Logan ends up leaving without saying goodbye but Parker and her brother have no idea why.
When Logan gets called down from the NHL to play for the Appies Parker finds herself needed a “date” to please her father and stop him from setting her up with other guys. She then finds herself swooning over Logan but what will happen if he goes back to the pros and what if Logan doesn’t feel the same way? Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback!

I recently finished 'Just Don't Fall' and had a really enjoyable time with it. If you're a fan of sweet and cozy romantic comedies, especially stories with fun tropes like fake dating, this book is a great pick!

Parker and Logan have a sweet history that made their reconnection special. Their chemistry shines without needing explicit scenes, which made the story feel very wholesome. I loved their moments together, especially the gala dance - it was a really cute highlight.

The fake dating aspect was fun, but I did find myself wishing for a bit more open communication between the characters at times. That said, the small-town setting, autumnal vibes, and engaging cast made this a lovely read. I can't wait to dive into more books in the series!

Thank you Victory Editing NetGalley for my ARC.

Gah! This book delivered with all the feels and made me want to read more of Emma’s books. Now I know why my friends have highly recommended her novels for a while now.

I enjoy sports romances and after reading this story, I really want to read more. I loved the hockey aspect and the interactions between the players and how protective they are of

And although this is a closed door romance, it definitely didn’t leave me wanting more. The romance was so well written it had me swooning with the grand gestures and the thoughtfulness of Logan. I loved the banter between Parker and Logan and I was rooting for them as a couple the entire way through.

Fall, hockey and romance - all my favourites in one book. It was sweet and I enjoyed reading it. The Appies caught my heart, all the hockey players on the team seemed to be awesome. Parker was definitely a boss babe who kept the guys wrapped around her fingers. I loved how Logan spoiled her. It was so sad how Logan was misunderstood in the past. Parker’s situation with kissing was so relatable in my opinion and it was great that Logan respected her choices.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of the book.

This was cute. The characters are all likable and you root for them. Very little spice and I am over the virginal main characters but I still enjoyed it. A little cheesy at times but it is pretty romantic. I didn't realize this was a series with the books written by different authors, which is cute, although I find the no-face covers a bit creepy.

3.5 stars

There were parts of this story I really enjoyed. As a reader who reads all levels of spice I really enjoyed the way the author created tension. She knows how to make you want more and writes tension well. Without giving away spoilers, the hallway scene is top notch. I really like the brother's friend trope and hockey aspects as well. The team itself is great and I like Felix a lot.

I did feel like in the middle there was a lot of filler. There were great moments that made me smile but stuff in between that just wasn't adding to the plot. Turning the major moments into a TikTok dance just didn't work for me either nor did the idea of kiss being so central for someone in their mid-twenties but if you like the never been kissed trope, then it probably won't bother you. It was more well done than most and the MMC handled it well.

This book!!! Soo cute. I think I'm understanding the whole Hockey trope after reading this one. Loved it!

I couldn't get enough of this book! This is a fake dating, second chance, brothers best friend, small town, hockey romance. I loved it! I am not the biggest hockey romance person but this one was perfect! No spice and this book was amazing without it! The chemistry between Parker and Logan is perfect! This is the first in a series and I am definitely going to read them all!!
