To The Brink is the first book in a series by Matt Charles. It is a propulsive near future military thriller that takes place on Earth and in space. When China attacks the United States seeking dominance of mineral assets in space and satellites capable of controlling nuclear weapons, the future of the world is at stake. I was on the edge of my seat rooting for the red, white, and blue. I have already downloaded book two in the series. I recommend it to other lovers of the genre.
