I requested to read and review this book for free from Entangled Publishing. This book has romance, mystery and drama. Mia has had the rug pulled our from under in life but she is stronger because of it. Or is she? Can she trust and possibly love the right person if they came along. Alex has never really know what love is. Can he learn to love and truly know what love can be. Life has a way of bringing people into your life whether for the long term or for a short time. Can the family around you help or hurt the decision that need to be made. This book can be ready anywhere but would recommend a mature audience.

I had a lot of fun with Livy Hart's books so I was so looking forward to this one. It even has a fun title.
I'm glad to report that I truly enjoyed this! It was funny, charming, spicy and left me with a huge smile on my face.
Hart has a way of writing romcoms that makes them feel effortless. They feel like the romcoms I grew up with but spicier!
I think my favorite part of the book were the characters. They kept me laughing and swooning until the end.
Totally recommend, binged in a day!

Some Kind of Blunderful was such a fun read! Livy Hart’s rom coms never fail to bring me joy.

This book had romance, humor and awkwardness written so well that I was cringing for the characters. As usual with Livy Hart books, I stayed up way too late finishing it because I just didn’t want to stop. Now I am kicking myself for reading it so fast because I just want more now!

Some Kind of Blunderful is out Sept 25th!

Now I (not so) patiently wait for The Great Dating Fake off to come out next year.

Some Kind of Blunderful takes us to Atlanta where Mia is finding her independence after being left at the alter by her childhood sweetheart and family friend. She’s in online dating hell and even though she finds Alex, a relatively attractive, normal guy on an app, their date is flustered from the start and seems to be another one for the “L” column. She agrees to go on a blind date with the bff of her bestie’s new beau, only to realize that it’s the guy from her last app date. Oh, and a bonus fun thing - Alex is her dad’s new boss who her dad absolutely despises. Despite the cards being stacked against them, the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Here’s the deal - Livy Hart is an autobuy author for me, no questions asked. Her writing continuously packs the punch with humor, wit, emotions, steam, and just all around rom com goodness. If I want to be in a better mood, Livy’s books always hit the mark and I won’t be able to put them down. In Livy’s Acknowledgements section, she talks about how shows like The Office capture the magic in the mundane everyday moments, and I think that’s what I loved about this book. Everything was relatable, and yet it still felt like a dreamy escape to read. I would have read this book in one sitting, if I didn’t have to take a break from my Kindle after a few of those intimate scenes (literally had me shook).

Thank you Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for the advanced copy. I’m so excited that we’re buddy reading this one with #joyfulchaosbookclub since joy and chaos are absolutely Livy’s brand.

Wonderful!!! Livy Hart hits nothing but net. I had to go with a basketball analogy (because of the story), but if it’s not clear I really enjoyed this book. This is everything a contemporary romance should be. The story begins with Mia Madden thinking she has been stood up by her online date. And when they do meet they clash more than compliment.

Alex Conroy is good at his job. He has come to a town in Georgia to revamp a company and improve sales. He makes all kinds of blunders as his path keeps crossing with beautiful Mia. It doesn’t help that he got the job that Mia’s father wanted, and her dad thinks of him as his work enemy. He’s also got that insecure side that says he isn’t worthy of love because of his childhood. But when Mia and Alex are together the chemistry is sizzling hot. Throw in a Andi the puppy and I’m swooning.

I love how realistic these characters are. The best friends are perfect. They aren’t there to deliver zingers but to listen, drink, laugh and be a sounding board. Mia is wonderful, sexy and thoughtful. She cares about her students as a teacher and she cares about her family. And when she starts caring for Alex you know she is going to be all in. When the angst moment is impending, she pulls in, seeks counsel and makes her decision. It turns into a realistic and perfect grand gesture to Alex's impulsive blundering one. The epilogue is icing on the cake. I wish Hart would go back and tell best friends Ezra and Josie’s as I am invested in their story too.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing LLC and NetGalley and I am leaving a voluntary review.

“You have my love, wherever we are, whatever we own. As long as we’re together, I have everything I need.”

This was a really cute low stakes romcom. If you liked planes, trains and all the fells you should pick this up. The main characters Mia and Alex meet on a blind date and Mia realizes that Alex is her dads snobby boss who apparently stole his job. They don’t have a great date and see each other again because their best friends are dating. There’s a lot of getting to know each other, sneaking around so Mia’s dad doesn't find out and good romcom fun. Pacing wise I think some parts were rushed especially towards the end but overall a good romcom.

Thank you Entangled Publishing for this arc for an honest review.

this was such a cute book! my first livy hart read, def won't be my last.

it started off kinda weak, and i was not excited about this book the first few chapters. meet-disasters make me cringe. but i'm so glad i stuck through the end! i love the characters, the premise, and the arc of the story.

there were some loose strings left at the end (derek?? but maybe bc its too dark for this book idk) that bothered me.

overall 4.25 stars, def will be picking up more of this authors books.

I needed this! What a fun story. Great for a Sunday afternoon or really anytime, any day! I was smiling while reading through the whole book. If you want a lighthearted read with some sexy times, this is your read!

This book was capital F-U-N fun. I had the very best time reading it!

Obviously the banter was next level, because Livy Hart is a banter mastermind. I love how she continually threw Mia and Alex together and I especially love how she progressed their relationship. Dislike to awareness to this slow burn is killing me levels of tension to 🔥🔥🔥 - I loved being along for every step of the way.

I DM’ed the author about the slow burn at one point and she said, “it’s coming soon and it never stops!” And she was not kidding. This one is SPICY. Alex is very thorough and you will never look at hot tub jets the same again.

I also appreciated the growth of the characters apart from one another: how Alex had to unlearn being alone and not depending on anyone, and how Mia came to realize that not all relationships are doomed to fail just because one did.

Such a great book with a lovely group of side characters and puppies and I just loved it a whole lot!

Alex is the hated boss of Mia's dad. But they are constantly thrown together because their respective best friends are dating.

Love the characters. The dual povs are interesting. So many LOL scenes too. Cute and no angst. A fun book that makes you smile. A great rom-com.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Wow wow wow! You knocked this one out of the park, Livy. This was what I needed to cure a book slump. The perfect amount of humor, character growth, and spice with everythin' nice that you want in a perfect romantic comedy. Sometimes romcoms can get a bit cheesy but this one was simply witty that is had me CHEESING.

I think what I really want to commend Livy is on the pacing especially between the two love interest. With romances, sometimes it's quite a drag when the couple gets together too fast or if there's no substance to the characters outside of their love story. However, with dual POV (which I LOVED both POVs which is rare for me, typically the male heroine is whatever but Alex - blueprint book boyfriend!!! I loved being in his head), was a definite +++ in regards to understanding their backstory/motivations as individuals. The character growth was just there. With impeccable pacing, you can't help but feel the chemistry and authenticity between the two and root for them wholeheartedly!! Also, even though there was a third act conflict I felt as though it was resolved maturely.

I loved the friend/family relationships which I think played quite a bit on the story but didn't overshadow it too much. Also the spice?!?! It was delicious and THANK YOU Livy for giving scenes that gave! With Alex actually staying true to his character. Can't wait to own my own physical copy and transfer my tabs to it! I am stoked to read your backlist, Livy!

This book was top notch. The characters were relatable and did not lack depth. The banter between our MCs was fantastic - even if there were cheesy moments, they were never cringey.

I know we all love a billionaire romance, but this book was extra special because these characters felt like they could be my friends. I was invested in their happiness from the beginning. Both Alex and Mia are lovable characters (rarely do I enjoy both MCs from the start) and I am so happy this was dual POV. After chapter 2, I was hooked.

It was refreshing to read a book that did not have unnecessary drama or random events that only fit in to add to the page count. 6/5 stars for Some Kind of Blunderful, I will be recommending this to anyone who - as long as they enjoy a little bit of spice with their light-hearted, feel good, reads.

This book is exactly what I needed. It was cute and funny and the only tears it made me cry were tears of joy at how it ended.
I just loved Alex—the poor guy had a hellish upbringing and it made me feel for him so much. I’m so glad he found love (and a puppy!), and thrilled he got the family he deserves.
Mia was an absolute gem, and I loved her to pieces. Her relationship with her family and her best friend was perfect, and after what she’s been through, I was glad she was able to find someone wonderful like Alex.
Sometimes the romcoms with all the bad things happening to drag a couple together can feel overdone, but I felt this had the perfect mix of everything. Definitely a five star read, and I’d give it a lot more if I could.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I'm still relatively new to Livy Hart's writing, but when 'Some Kind of Blunderful' was offered to me, I really thought it was a good way to sort of help myself get back into the rom-com flow. And these days, it's actually difficult to get that light-hearted vibe back, even if it's just for a while.

On paper, Alex Conroy and Mia Madden are as wrong for each other as pencil shavings are on buttered bread: their beliefs, their occupations, their families...they just do not gel. But even as they started off on the wrong foot, their forced interactions (and undeniable attraction to each other) each time keep inching the sexual tension towards dangerous territory--a delicious, spine-tingling tension that Hart definitely pushes to the max.

The resulting steam is naughty...and then even naughtier and also inventive enough that you'd be fanning your cheeks or maybe even discreetly pressing your own legs together in search of the same kind of groaning relief Mia gets over and over again.

In all though, it's a pacey read and the angst level is pretty low, but I thought there were just too many distractions in the form of the family members, friends and colleagues trying to vie for their own space and airtime in what's already a full and long-ish story. Cue the tropes and stereotypical rom-com moments but the great thing perhaps is that nothing's unexpected. Hart might leave some things that stay unresolved at the periphery, but she definitely makes sure Alex and Mia find their resolute HEA.

My biggest crime: Not having read a single Livy Hart book before this one!! What an enjoyable, highly binge-able, a full steam ahead read. I have no notes, only praise.

I was pretty much hooked from the first chapter. I instantly know I'll love a book when I equally enjoy both POV's. Lately (in other contemporary romances I've read more recently), I've found myself favoring the MMC's point of view. I swear fictional men written by women is just 🤌🏼 But Mia was so sweet and relatable, while Alex was charming and serious. I was obsessed with these two from the jump. You couldn't recreate their chemistry in a lab if you tried. The "will-they-won't they" of it all had me at the edge of my seat despite knowing a HEA was inevitable. The "conflict" had just the right amount of drama to be believable but not over the top. No spoilers, but the way these two resolved the big issue(s) of the book made my heart very, very happy.

Thank you to Netgalley & Entangled Publishing for the early ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A cute but steamy rom com. A don't fall for the boss' daughter plot except the love interest is the boss and the daughter is his head of sales whom was passed over for the promotion to boss. He's Mr. Wrong for all the right reasons.

I am a self-admitted book worm, and I have been the majority of my life. Here lately, I gravitate towards suspenseful books. One genre that I have also been gravitating towards is books that make me laugh. Because of this, and how much I enjoyed “Planes, Trains, and All the Feels,” I was very excited to read this book.

Pros: This is the second Livy Hart that I have read, so this book was just as amazing as the first that I read. I absolutely love how the perspective switches between the characters. That way, you know what each person is thinking.

Cons: None at all! As expected, I loved the book from the beginning to the end.

I absolutely loved this book. I related to the main female character in many ways! I definitely recommend this book.

Mia Conroy has a problem--the guy she keeps running into, and not dating, turns out to be her dad's boss. The Boss from Heck that Dad Conroy loathes, despises, and hates.

And every time she sees Alex, she feels the heat.

Enemies-to-lovers is such fun when it's funny, and Livy Hart knows how to walk that magic line between mean bickering, which is a total turnoff to me, and sparks flying. Alex is a cinnamon roll of a guy whose family background pretty much isolated him from the git-go. He's utterly bewildered by Mia, who seems to have ten thousand very tight relatives, who are (as tight families tend to be) involved in each other's business.

Negotiating this, work issues, and the nuclear-fission level heat between Mia and him puts him to the test. There are a ton of laugh out loud one liners here, but best of all, the climactic Dark Moment that romances seem to require these days is handled like a champ. The conflict is genuine, not a pasted-on "if only they'd talked for two minutes" misunderstanding, and everybody is a grownup. I loved it. There's also a ton of spice for those who want lots of on-page sex in their romance.

I really look forward to her next.

Thanks to Entangled and the author for this arc!

This is some good stuff :)
Dual POV, spice, banter, actual enemies to lovers not that barely there thing. And the tensions boy oh boy.

A very enjoyable read! Will look into this authors other works for sure.

A solid 4.5 stars!!

I'm gonna be honest I was a bit nervous going into this because I LOVED Livy Harts first book but was not a big fan of her second, but this third book had all the charm and heat that I adore from Livy Hart.

I love an enemies to lovers book but I especially love when they like...genuinely don't like each other from the jump and theres that slow reluctant slide into love. The conflicts felt realistic and not overdone and I really appreciated that. I also just think the humor was perfect and justtttt "hip" enough, nothing is more cringey than authors inputting random slang but the references in this book were subtle nods that still got me giggling.

Overall I really enjoyed this and will for sure be reading the next book she releases!
