A woman gone in broad daylight. A damaged family. Malicious gossip.

Growing up in the small town of Oak Junction, Paige and Leila didn’t have everything, but they did have each other.

With a fragile mother and much-older siblings the two girls relied on each other. Until the day Leila didn’t come home from school.

With the pain of never seeing her sister again, and a family who couldn’t talk about it, Paige left for the city to pursue a career in journalism and tell Leila’s story.

But things in the city aren’t working out so well. Paige can’t fully commit to her writing. She doesn’t have the guts to tell the person she’s in love with how she feels, and her family maintains a polite-but-distant relationship.

When another young woman goes missing from Paige’s hometown and gossip starts to swirl again, can Paige step up, lean in, investigate and in so doing, get her own life back on track?

I really enjoyed this book! It was an easy read that kept my interest the whole time. I can't wait to read the next one in the series! Thank you NetGalley for this ARC.

A gripping mystery that was heartbreaking but at the same time, hopeful! Left me thirsty for more of the authors descriptive dialogue and excellent character building

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was such an easy read and would fit for me within the cosy crime genre. The characters were incredibly likeable and you end up really feeling for them. Even though the book is crime based, it has a comforting feel about it, the people, the setting, the events that are happening. I would definitely be interested in reading more books about Paige and those written by T.E.Robins.

This story slowly gripped me as it progressed and didn’t let me go until I finished it. It was easy to read mystery suspense and I really liked the author's writing style. Since this is the first book in the new series, I can’t wait to read the next ones about the investigative journalist, Paige Turner.

I didn't realise the story would be so equestrian centred so that alone would make me give it a high rating since either love riding! This was a really easy, quick read. It's cleverly written and I loved the fact that you get backstory and insight into all the characters and it does just focus on the main character. It's one of those mysteries that's more than just a mystery and also has suspense, romance, tension, and such. A little but if everything really! I really couldn't fault it, I highly enjoyed it

Radio Silent tells the story of Paige Turner, a journalist who is contacted by her eldest sister to cover a story about a woman who has gone missing much like their other sister Leila. Paige dives deep into the world of horse jumping/eventing to attempt to tell the story of the missing woman and ends up figuring out what happened to her.

I really enjoyed this story of a young woman overcoming fears and coming into her own. It has a good amount of adrenaline pumping situations without being too much. The author really took the time to develop the character of Paige, but also paint the full picture of her entire family. My ONLY complaint is that we dont get a story on what happened to Leila all those years ago. However, I do see that this book is the first in a series so I do hope the author covers that at some point in the series! overall a great read.

T. E. Robins had me invested from the first page. I love books that expose me to new things, this book was set in the Canadian world of horse jumping. Written in first person POV, Paige was relatable, complex, and immensely likable. Like so many of us as we age, she has lost her initial enthusiasm for life and is just coasting, at first. She comes from a large, dysfunctionally fun family who add interest to an already enthralling mystery. The low-key romance angle (I love Dave the barman roommate) added interest and a touch of suspense (will they, won't they?). I was glad to see this is book one of a planned series, I absolutely need to see what she will investigate next.

4⭐️

i loved this so much!! it’s definitely more of a mystery than a thriller but i enjoyed it nonetheless! it didn’t help that i developed a small reading slump while reading this (hence the 4 star), but when i did pick it up i was having a great time.

this story follows paige, a journalist from a small town drawn back in to report and write about a girl who went missing, wren. while investigating the disappearance of wren, thought of her sister, leila, missing for 15 years compels her to write about wren. this story follows love, loss, importance of family, and mystery all tied together.

T. E. Robins knew was she was doing with this one! i absolutely loved the writing style; it was very quick and easy to read. all the characters have their own story and it was nice learning about everyone. the middle of the book slowed down a bit and there was some information in there that kinda had you like “huh?” but if you push through it i definitely think you’ll enjoy it. i know absolutely NOTHING about horses and this taught me so much i didn’t realize how invested i was until several chapters passed by and i was saying to myself, “i just have to keep going.” it’s a really lovely book and i’m happy i was given the arc to read this! <3

thank you netgalley and T. E. Robins for a copy of the arc in exchange for an honest review!!

Another quick enjoyable read for me. This book was fast paced, suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat. I cried and laughed throughout this book. It felt like I was on a rollercoaster of emotions reading this book. It's great when the author can make you feel like that as it means they've got a great writing style.
