I enjoyed this one, it was a quick twisty thriller, but not the best one I ever ever read. It did take me a little while to get into it and there were def a few loose ends that didn’t get tied up and that always irks me. But overall I think it’s worth a read.

I didn’t finish this book. I wasn’t invested in the characters. I figured out the ending, which never happens because I’m a naive reader. I’m always surprised, but this one was easy to figure out.

She’s Not Sorry is a story about mistakes and the regrets, or lack thereof, that go with them. The story starts with two main events. One is from the perspective of the narrator, who has to care for a patient who recently jumped off a bridge. The same narrator also has a story that involves meeting an old high school friend at a divorce support group. These two stories eventually intertwine for a shocking twist! While I did enjoy the story for the most part, I found parts to not be entirely convincing. Everything worked out that the narrator’s life was just an utter mess. Also - how do you not recognize someone that you know? I’m not quite sure how someone got away with lying about their identity…
For the most part though, the story was engaging and interesting. Sienna was my favorite character by far ;)

This is my second Kubica thriller since "Local Woman Missing," which I enjoyed, and both have been pretty solid trips. Kubica is an expert at pacing and also incorporates suburban topics that have me rooting for the characters, ideally to make it to the end of the books unscathed, though you never know! There is a unique "tenderness" about the way she approaches this, almost as if there's a reason behind why she's writing them and not just devolving into typical salaciousness or lurid details. I appreciate that and will definitely seek them out more in the future!
Specifically to this one, we have medical drama, family turmoil, long-lost classmates, and city strife that can be ripped from the headlines. Some of it did hit a little too close to home, and there was one trope that I wasn't particularly sold on; still, there was at least one twist I totally didn't see coming, so I appreciate that! Definitely a solid read from me, and I'll be checking out more of Kubica's work in the future, for sure!

This was fantastic! The suspense builds up and sucks you in! The characters are well written. This is one of my favorite thrillers I've read this year! Highly recommend! Special Thank You to Mary Kubica, Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me to read a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

I rated She's Not Sorry 5 out of 5 stars. In this novel, like in all her others, Mary Kubica builds a world full of rich characters with something to hide. You are introduced to Meghan Michaels early on and you get right on her side. You believe the good in her as a single mother and caring nurse. But everything is not as it seems when Caitlin arrives in the hospital in a coma. Mary Kubica has a brilliant way of illustrating a world you can imagine yourself in. I lost myself in this story and did not put it down often. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an intriguing, engaging and captivating read.

I absolutely loved this book!! I couldn’t put it down.
I just loved all the characters. I highly recommend this book.

I could not get into this story it was just not for me. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

Mary Kubica has long been a favorite author of mine so when I found out she had a new release out, of course I knew I had to read it.
And it was everything and much more than I expected from Mary!
Meghan is an ICU nurse and her newest patient survived a suicide attempt and is in a coma. As always, Meghan takes good care of Caitlin as she’s always done for all of her patients.
In her personal life, Meghan runs into an high school friend, Nat, and they pick up their friendship.
And then the twists hit. Oh my. There are several and I honestly didn’t see them coming. They certainly left me with my mouth hanging open.
I’ve read most or all of Mary’s books and I believe this one is my favorite!
*Thank you so much to Harlequin Trade Publishing, Park Row, and NetGalley for the eARC!*

I'm indifferent about this one. I thought it had potential, but kind of reminded me of a bunch of other popular stories that were just thrown together. I found it to be quite boring.

Lots of crazy twists and turns! Totally kept my interest, I was glued from beginning to end. Great summer (or actually anytime) read, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something to suck you right in from page 1, and keep you guessing and doubting yourself all the way through. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

So, a serious question. Do you rate books based on how good the content and story was, the writing, the format… or is your rating based on how much you ENJOYED the process of reading the book? How swept up in it you were?
For me, it’s always a combination of the two, but with a heavier weight on experience most of the time.
I ask because this book was a whole experience. 😂
Was it the best writing ever? No.
The most unpredictable thriller? Not by any stretch.
But was it DAMN ENTERTAINING? Hell yes.
I read this book in three hours, and I only put it down once and that was to run to the bathroom (thanks, bladder). It was a ripping fast thriller, and I desperately wanted to know where it was going. It has a fairly robust cats of characters, to the point where you’re never really sure who the bad guy/girl is.
Yes, some of it was predictable (to the point that I was YELLING at our heroine to get a clue!), but I didn’t care. The one twist I absolutely didn’t see coming and I loved the shock of it. The other was very predictable. Who cares. Still loved it.
This is one of those excellent popcorn domestic thrillers that I just eat right up. It was a wild and enjoyable ride, like most Kubica books, and I had a blast reading it. If it’s not winning book awards, who cares. Have fun with your reading sometimes, friends. I sure do.
4.5 stars

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for an ARC.
I am a big fan of Mary Kubica and her writing. I love how she weaves in so much in the storyline with little nuggets that hint towards the ending. This one kept me guessing up until the very end. WOW!

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. .
This book moved sort of slow in the beginning. It took awhile to get started. Once it warmed up, there were some really good twists. Overall, an interesting book. Not sure if I liked how neatly it tied up, but I wasn’t dissatisfied with the ending.

I know there was a lot of speculation on this thriller. I actually really enjoyed it. I love Mary Kubica's books. She really knows how to tell a story. This had me going crazy, I did not want to put this book down. I gave it 5 stars.

2.5 stars. This just wasn’t it for me. I liked the way the narration was done with the hook at the beginning and then you make your way to that. I also enjoyed the mystery of the story, but once I got to the big twists I felt really disappointed. I had predicted one of the major twists and the other one just felt like a let down. I usually enjoy thrillers but this one just wasn’t for me.

I really don't have much to say other than this book was pretty boring. The characters all fell flat and nothing really starts happening until the second half of the book. The plot twists also felt pretty lackluster.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for the ARC!

Meghan, an ICU nurse, cares for a woman who jumped or was pushed from a bridge and becomes entangled in a dangerous mystery.
This is full of twists and turns and was a very enjoyable mystery/thriller. Great for summer reading!

Mary Kubica wrote the perfect psychology thriller in She’s Not Sorry!!!
Simply put, I loved everything about this book. I was fully invested in the story from start to finish. Not only did this hold my attention, it often caught me off guard. As an avid reader that is hard to do. I often guess key plot points, which can put a damper on things.
Special thanks to Netgalley, Harlequin Trade Publishing, and Mary Kubica for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Another hit from Kubica!
It’s no secret that most of the novels I enjoy reading are of the thriller or suspense genre . Mary Kubica’s recent release She’s Not Sorry was far beyond my expectations, what a true popcorn thriller that I couldn’t put down!
Without getting into too many plot details, I can say as the novel unraveled, the tension was undeniably palpable, and there was an increasing sense of dread that kept me completely captivated. I couldn’t make sense if one event had anything to do with the other, and where the story was going, and as a reader of thrillers, I couldn’t have asked for more! This was such a pacey and exciting read, I read this in one sitting. The only critique I would possibly give this one would be the very end was left somewhat open, and I found myself wanting even more of this story, but that didn't take away from my overall reading experience. In fact, I would challenge anyone that picks this one up to sit it down without difficulty, it’s just that much fun, in a wicked way!
