Shes Not Sorry was a great thriller in my opinion. Some things were a little choppy or unbelievable, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I'm not sure she'd get away with killing a patient so easily in "real" life.

I enjoyed the twists and turns in this story and honestly I did not see the major twist coming right away. Looking back now im like ohhhh duhhhh! But I didnt see it!

The Queen Mary Kubica has defended the crown again. This is my new favourite of hers. Her twistiest novel yet, full of suspense, mystery, drama, family dynamics, and fast pacing. I flew through this in 2 sittings because I could not wait to see how this fell together - which it did, flawlessly. I didn't see one twist coming, one I did see coming but I still loved how it all unfolded. I highly recommend this for any MK fans, thriller fans. Also good Healthcare worker representation!

Meghan Michaels works as a full-time nurse in intensive care as well as being a single mom. When a patient comes into the hospital in a coma with a traumatic brain injury, Meghan has a hard time not getting personally involved with the patient, Caitlin, and her family. But will it put her and her daughter in jeopardy?

There's a lot going on in this book, but in Kubica's capable hands, it all comes together perfectly. I was completely engrossed in this book and these characters from the beginning. There was palpable tension throughout the book and I wasn't sure who I could trust. I was shocked at the twist and loved how all the storylines came together. The end isn't completely wrapped up in a bow, but that's okay with me. Highly recommended!

Meghan is a divorced nurse with a teenage daughter. She is dedicated to her job. She has a patient who is in the ICU because she jumped from a bridge- or was she pushed? This is just one of many plots in the book.
There are many twists and turns- I’ll admit I became lost at one point. The last quarter of the book brought everything together. I enjoyed this book. Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the e-arc.

Mary Kubica is one of my favorite authors and an autobuy for me and once again she has proven why she is a thriller master! This book started off with such a bang that my heart was racing. Do you want to be hooked from the absolute beginning? This is your book. The book then goes into Part One and Part Two and both are equally suspenseful with twist after twist that I did not see coming. Mary's writing is always so complex, weaving together multiple storylines until the climax that brings it all together and I'm always here for that!

The pacing of the book was phenomenal with enough suspense throughout that I was staying up late for just "one more chapter". Which inevitably turned into another and another! If you've never read a Mary Kubica book before, this is your PSA that her books are amazing, and it's time! This one comes out in just a few weeks, and I highly recommend preordering! I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!

I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down. I read it in less than 24 hours. I gave it 4 stars because I truly enjoyed my reading experience. However, I did think there were a few too many elements thrown in just for the thriller aspect, making some parts of the story seem a bit too far-fetched. Overall, amazing read though!

As a thriller, this misses the mark. I didn't feel the sense of dread or suspense that usually keeps me coming back to books like this one. The twists are too implausible for me, and the non-ending was unsatisfying at best.

The crux of the conflict requires someone revealing a dark secret at an exact time in an unbelievable way. The secret is interesting, but the way it is handled was not at all logical and didn't match the secret-teller's other actions.

The reader is supposed to feel afraid of the person attacking women, which is an important sub-plot. Perhaps that was supposed to enhance the atmosphere or something, but it just made the story seem disjointed and the addition twists at the end seem even less likely.

The relationship between mother and daughter is explained well. The writing is easy to read.

This is easily my new favorite Mary Kubica book!

At first I thought there was too much going on, with a patient in the ICU, Meghan's divorce and life with her daughter, an old friend in an abusive relationship, and a sexual predator on the loose. As I was reading, I was trying to figure out how all these stories either connected or wrapped up.

As I was reading, I had figured a couple of things out, but I just couldn't figure out the why or the how. I HAD to keep reading because I wanted to know!

I especially loved reading, thinking there were two events (the ICU patient and the old friend) taking place at the same time, but finding out they happened at different times! I do enjoy dual timelines, so the fact that this was presented as one timeline, but it was in fact two, was awesome!

When I read my first impressions for Bookish First, something that stuck out to me was Kubica's lists in the first few chapters. She would list things like medical terms but end the with with "more." I wanted her to either end the list or go ahead and give us more. I was worried those lists would be throughout the book, but they weren't. It really only showed up once or twice more after the first few chapters. So the fact that they were actually minimally used (albeit a little too much in the first few chapters), I can overlook that.

I have to hand it to the author, there were some things I did not see coming. Just wow! I stayed up even later than usual reading this, and I’m still feeling it now, I had to know what happened.

Meghan is a single mom, juggling life as an ICU nurse and raising her teenage daughter. A patient is brought to the hospital after suffering a traumatic brain injury due to a fall from a bridge. Meghan becomes heavily involved in her care and the lives of her family. Did she try to take her own life? Or was she pushed?

I am still puzzling over exactly how I feel about this one. There are a number of unlikeable characters in this book, but there are some interesting twists and turns. To avoid spoilers, I’ll leave it at that. Pick this one up, you’re in for a wild ride!

Meghan is an ICU nurse taking care of Caitlin, a patient who fell off a bridge and is in critical condition. Except the police think it may have been foul play.

I had a hard time getting into this one. I liked the story but I found myself not the most captivating because of the pacing. If the concept interests you I’d give it a chance. It definitely wasn’t predictable (which is always appreciated in thrillers). Overall, a decent book with a solid ending.

Meghan Michael’s is an ICU nurse in Chicago, who is caring for a possible suicide victim, while navigating the trials and tribulations of parenting a sixteen-year-old daughter, Sienna. Meghan has been divorced for a year and is quite focused on her career. One night, a former high school classmate runs into Meghan and appears to have a tortured relationship with her abusive husband. As Meghan works to help her former friend, she gets pulled into a sinister plot.

Kubica does a fantastic job of keeping readers on their toes! The twist in the middle of the book is fabulous and helps propel the novel to its satisfying conclusion. I cannot wait for Kubica’s next murderous foray!

Wow! Mary Kubica definitely does not disappoint with this one. This one is a slow burn. Kubica has a way of fully developing characters so that you truly care about each one. It takes time for Kubica to introduce us to Meghan and Caitlin and give us their background information. However, about halfway through the action really picks up. There are many jaw-dropping twists. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys thrillers! I give it 4/5 stars.

This book has no lack of the surprises and twists we expect from Kubica. I always suspend my rational/doubting mind when I read this genre because that is how I can most enjoy it!

When I let myself get fully immersed in the text, I had heart-pounding moments which turned out to be excellent foreshadowing. Kubica creates so many reasons to look carefully at every character and around every corner. I am still analyzing some of those characters and story lines.

Loved this book!! It did start very slow, with a lot of backstory but as soon as it got to Part 2 it was wiiiiild. A serious page turner with so many twists. 100% recommend!!

This book is filled with many twists and turns and suspicious characters which made it difficult to know who to trust or believe! Although it left a few unanswered questions for me, I really enjoyed this fast-paced, page turner read and would not hesitate to recommend!

It's starts off with a phone call received by Meghan Michaels, a nurse. She's doing the best she can to raise her teenage daughter, Sienna. From there, as I read, I tried to figure out what details were important and which character(s) were the "bad guy(s)." There were lots of twists and turns that kept me guessing! I was not expecting how things connected. This was my first book by Mary Kubica. It won't be my last!
