I read Local Woman Missing as my first Mary Kubica book and was obsessed and since then have found more of her books and have devoured them just like this one! I don’t know how she does it, but she does—Mary Kubica does an amazing job thrilling, twisting and turning and this book is no different. I highly recommend!

This was a fast paced, fun read with a twist! Only gave it 4 stars because it felt like a little too much was going on to be true

Wow, this book blew me away. Meghan is an ICU nurse who is assigned to a woman who supposedly jumped off a bridge in an attempted suicide. However, when she finds out the police believe she was pushed, Meghan finds herself entangled into the chilling past of her patient, bringing to light dark secrets of her own.

Mary Kubica delivers yet another fantastic novel with a constant spiral of twists that you’ll never see coming.

This was a quick read and had a big twist that I did not see coming! If you're looking for a thriller with a Wow Factor, this book is for you.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

A page turner from the very beginning. The twists and turns kept you on the edge of your seat. You were never quite sure who you could trust as you puzzled your way through.

Thank you to Park Row and NetGalley for the ACR in exchange for my honest review. She’s not Sorry kept my attention from the very beginning to the very end. It’s an intense and twisty thriller that will leave you shocked and second-guessing. I liked this one more than Local Woman Missing, but like the former, the ending felt a big rushed. With such a huge build up and so many moving parts, I was left wanting more explanation on certain parts of the plot. Because the build up and the excitement was so well done, She’s Not Sorry gets an easy 4 stars from me!

This was such an amazing page turner! I guessed one twist pretty early on and was a little bummed if it turned out I was right, but then there was so much going on I forgot about that part of the story. This book has multiple storylines all webbed in together until all of a sudden it comes together. I was shocked at the major twist. I never saw it coming. The twist I guessed in the beginning was right but so much had happened in between that I was proud I figured one part out. If you’re looking for an incredible twist to blow you away, read this book.

I was really excited for this since I usually enjoy this author. This book was not it though. The first half was really a struggle to get through. It felt repetitive and disjointed with nothing actually happening. I loved the twist about half way through and thought it would turn the book around, but no such luck. It was kind of all over the place and never really came together. I'm still giving it a 3 star since it was written well.

Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the ARC.

There are some twists and turns in this book. The first twist was a bit of a surprise. The identity of the rapist isn’t really a surprise. The author does a good job of leading us to the clues. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Overall this was an easy read - took me about 2.5 hours - the writing is very clear (on par for Mary Kubica) and the characters are rather easy to keep track of.

I like the shift between part 1 and part 2, I did not realize there were two timelines until this point and the opinion of what I though was going on was very wrong. I liked the twisted weaving of the characters that was put out and how they interacted.

That being said, I think there could have been more in terms of the family of Catilin (the abuse and why they were keeping secrets) it made me feel like there was unresolved matters going on in which we didn't get to see. The second point was the character Ben (the husband) we didn't see much of him in the first part of the booking other than mentioning the past but once we get to the second part he steps into the foreground.
The interaction where he appears waiting outside the apartment was awkward and I feel like there could have been more in the way of showing his intentions. His presence here is important to the end of the novel and I feel like I missed something, also I feel like he was quite absent in the final scene where his daughter goes missing. Just odd interactions to me.

That being said I love Mary Kubica's writing and I would read her books again and again

Thank you to NetGalley, Harlequin Trade Publishing and Mary Kubica for allowing me to review this book with an ARC!

Well let's get started. Wow! I read this book in a single day. I couldn't put it down! It grabbed my attention from the get go with a kidnapping and kept it up until the ending.

Being in the healthcare field I related to this book. Meghan, is an ICU nurse with a 16 yr old daughter, Sienna. She is treating a woman who jumped from a bridge and was in a coma. However, as the story progresses we learn that maybe she didn't jump but was pushed. We learn more about this woman and whether she was worthy of being helped or not. Insert ethical dilemma suspense.

Many characters, so many different storylines, all interconnected in ways that you don't expect. Midway through the book, time shifts and well, a surprise occurs! Some of the book was predictable but not where it ruined the story. I felt engaged, interested in what was happening and wanted to keep reading until I was done.

For someone who likes a thriller with a twist, this would be a good book for you!

When ICU nurse Meghan is assigned to care for Caitlin, a patient in a coma who recently jumped from a bridge, she can't help but wonder just who Caitlin was before the accident. After all, she was estranged from her parents, her brother seems to be hiding something, and there are other strange visitors showing up to the hospital. But then new evidence arises.. Did Caitlin jump, or was she pushed? Who would want to hurt her?

Wow, I could not put this down. I was hooked from the first chapter. Characters were great, writing great, plot and setting just eerie enough. figured out the twist a whole 2 pages before it happened, and it was a gooder! My favorite kind of twist. Even after that, it was so unclear where everything was going and I definitely did not have this one solved. Red herrings were strewn about until it all wrapped up with a great ending. Highly recommended!!

I enjoyed this psychological thriller by Mary Kubica. It is fast paced and captivating, with a big twist. However, the timeline of the book is really confusing and I spent the second half of the book wondering about the first half and how everything fit together. While I think that was the author's intent, I ended the book feeling like I needed to re-read it in order to separate the events into "before" and "after" categories. Ultimately, I appreciated the cleverness but it took away from my enjoyment. Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

This was my first Mary Kubica book and I was not sorry I read it! I will definitely be reading more by this author after this twisty thriller.

Meghan Michales is a recently divorced single working mom raising a 16 year old. She works as an ICU nurse at a local hospital. She becomes involved in the patient care of a someone named Caitlin, who is in the hospital after reportedly jumping off a bridge. As the police start to question the family, hospital employees, etc, it becomes more apparent that Caitlin did not try to end her life, rather she was pushed from the bridge.

The twist as to how the patient and Caitlin are connected is huge and will leave your mind blown. I highly recommend this addicting thriller.

Thanks to netgalley for the advanced copy of this book.

Mary Kubica does it again. I was so excited to read this as I loved LOCAL WOMAN MISSING and she did not disappoint!

Meghan Michaels is divorced with a teenage daughter. She's an ICU nurse who starts to uncover the dark past of her coma patient. The twist in this novel was elitist in the way only Mary Kubica could pull off. So well done!

First I would like to say thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me a chance to review this book early. That being said this book was incredible! Holy plot twist I never saw it coming! She’s Not Sorry by Mary Kubica was a powerhouse that left me guessing the whole time. I cannot wait to read another one of her books. 4.5/5 stars!

Meghan, an ICU nurse and single mother, is assigned to take care of a suicide patient. The patient is in critical condition and may not survive. Meghan begins to form a relationship with the family and learns more about her patient. As time goes on they realize that maybe this actually was not a suicide?

At the same time, there are also women being victimized in Meghan's neighborhood. Are these events related?

I could not put this book down, I needed to find out what happened. I love Kubicas writing and this one did not disappoint.

4.5 🌟

Thank you Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC

What what what… that was my goodreads update when I reached 70%. What in the world?! This was utterly un-put-down-able. Like how did she even come up with this!?

I can’t begin to put into words how many twists this book has. It had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It literally made me sit up on my bed SEVERAL times, making me go back to re-read what I thought I misread.

This book was incredible. It had my heart pounding the entire time in the best way. It had me guessing the entire time I was flipping pages, and STILL left me completely in shock after all the reveals. You won’t be able to put it down!

I was very close to give it 4.5 stars because I still feel like some questions weren’t answered, so I rounded it to 5.

Thank you Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC!

As a single mother and ICU nurse living in Chicago, Meghan Michaels finds herself in the middle of a terrifying nightmare. As women in the novel are tormented by a mysterious killer attacking them in their homes, before she knows it both Meghan and her daughter become unknowing targets of another danger.

Kubica's writing is quick, descriptive and realistic which was a positive of the experience, and I could see this being a good book-club book. I desperately wanted to like--if not love--this forthcoming thriller She's Not Sorry by Mary Kubica...but in the end, it really fell short for me. Despite efforts to weave together multiple storylines, the end result felt over-worked and over-complicated. In fact, I found myself so confused with the timeline of the events in the story that I re-read the entire book, hoping that I had just missed something...unfortunately, I didn't. In the end, I'm still not sure which character isn't sorry!

Even though psychological thrillers are my go-to favorite, this is my first Mary Kubica book. Despite the fact that this was not one of my favorites, I'll look forward to giving another one of her novels a chance.

Many thanks to Harlequin Trade Publishing, NetGalley & Mary Kubica for an ARC of She’s Not Sorry in exchange for an honest review.
