I got this book for my husband, who really enjoys this genre, but as we were in holiday in Rome I thought I’d have a read of it too. It was well written, with some great descriptions of the settings (I felt I was back in the Roman era). The story was a little predictable at times, although I still enjoyed it. Well worth a read.
