We’re back with my favorite dynamic duo, Finlay and Vero! Once again I was thoroughly entertained by the two as well as Stephen, the kids, and Finlay’s mom! I think this one may be up at the top of the list with book 1 for me. I laughed out loud several times! These two maybe the only ones that can make dead bodies funny! I enjoyed this funny, lighthearted mystery that’s perfect in between heavier reads!

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for this ARC of Finley Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano.

I was super excited to get this ARC! Finley and Vero are at it again! This time the gang is all here road tripping it to Atlantic City minus the ever nosy Mrs. Haggerty. Don’t worry she gets her spotlight too.

As always Cosimano makes sure her readers get a full dose of the Donovan treatment as Finley and Vero road trip to NJ to fight crime bosses, deal with dead bodies, crooked cops, and obviously keep their names off the record and the radar. There’s love, laughter, and some actual reflection in this book as Steven realizes what a crap Co-parent he’s been.

Much like Finley’s agent I’ll eagerly be awaiting Cosimano’s next book!

Finlay and her nanny, Vero, are planning a girls weekend. In actuality, they are headed to Atlantic City to save Vero’s childhood crush. But, as you can guess, nothing goes as planned.

I absolutely adore this series. Finlay Donovan is always in a pickle. Now she did seem to have her act together better than usual in this book. So, maybe she has turned over a new leaf. However, she still finds herself chasing bad guys and finding dead bodies!

There are places in this book which will have the reader cackling! And I don’t want to give anything away, but Finlay is loose in Atlantic City. So, you can just imagine the messes she gets herself into! I needed a book like this.

The narrator, Angela Dawe, is definitely in her element as Finlay. I do not see how she did one of the scenes without laughing her butt off!

Need a good mystery with fabulous characters…This is it! Grab your copy today!

I received this novel from the publisher for a honest review.

Another escapade for our hero, Finlay Donovan. In Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice, Finlay, Vero, and the whole family go on adventure to Atlantic City to find Vero's love. I love Finlay but I'm ready for a little more story and less constant activity. I think I would like to be Finlay's friend but she manages to get her friends in some pretty hairy situations so maybe I better just settle for reading about her!

Thank you to St. Martin's Press, Minotaur Books and NetGalley for this ARC!

I LOVE Finlay Donovan and this 4th installment was just as great as the other books. I found this book very enjoyable and love that most of the characters made appearances again. I love seeing what Finlay and Varo get up too and yes it can be over the top, but that makes it all the more fun!

If you are a fan of Janet Evanovich this series is for you!

Looking forward to the next installment!

4 Stars!

Another strong addition to Finlay Donovan's story. Loved the dynamic of Finlay and Vero, their outrageous shenanigans are what keeps me coming back to this series. It's fun and adventurous with a silly plot but still the characters are the best part.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the fourth book in the Finlay Donovan series, and it jumps right into where the last book left off!

Similarly to the rest of the series, this was such a fun read filled with all of your favourite characters ending up on a little road trip to Atlantic City. I felt that this book was less character driven compared to the previous ones, and it focused more on the plot which was very busy and hard to keep straight at times.

Finlay and Vero tend to always find themselves in these ridiculous scenarios which are always just so much fun to read. Yes it may not be totally believable, but it’s fun to get lost in all of the silliness of the series!

The book ends on a cliffhanger and seems to be the perfect segue for another book in the series, which I’m looking forward to reading.

Overall, it’s a fast-paced fun mystery with lots of twists and fun, loveable characters. This series is one of my favourites, and I would highly recommend that you check it out!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the eARC in exchange for a review!

I loved the first 3 books in the Finlay Donovan series but unfortunately this one fell flat for me. All of our favorite characters are back but this time for a road trip to Atlantic City! I continued to love Finlay’s character especially all she does as a mom. Her interactions with the children are always hilarious! Nick, the hot cop is back! Vero is back pushing Finlay to her limit. We also get Finlay’s mom, Stephen, the kids, and Cam back in our lives. I loved the characters but the plot was incredibly far fetched. It seemed to drag on and I didn’t find myself wanting to pick up the book. Overall, I’m glad I read it and I did love the cliff hanger at the end of the book!

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for this Advance Readers Copy (ARC) to honestly review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you're a fan of the Finlay Donovan series, you're in luck with Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice (pun intended 😄). Finlay and Vero are back in full force with their hilarious antics, this time in Atlantic City. If you haven't read the first three books, don't read this one yet. It is definitely a series that needs to be read in order.

What I loved:
- Our favorite characters are back, some of whom we get to know more intimately.
- There's closure in many ways that I didn't always feel from the previous three books.
- Intricate plot. Elle Cosimano clearly spent a lot of time developing the plot and it was fun to discover how everything is interrelated.
- The audio narration. I've listened to most of the series and continue to enjoy it on audio. I highly recommend the series in this format.

What gives me pause:
- Lack of sleep. How in the world do Vero and Finlay function on so little sleep? The amount of ridiculous situations they find themselves in without stopping to sleep and rarely to eat blows my mind. Yes, I realize it's fiction but I kept coming back to this thought.
- Nick and Finlay’s relationship gives me anxiety. I'm constantly waiting for everything to blow up. It's like the equivalent of walking on eggshells.

IMO, about halfway through the book, it felt like too much drama just causing a domino effect with more unfortunate circumstances. Stick with it! The second half really shows how everything was connected and loose ends tie up nicely. It almost seemed like there's enough closure that I wasn't sure where the next book could start but the epilogue addressed that thought. 🤐

Thank you, NetGalley, St. Martin’s Press, and Macmillan Audio for the ARC and ALC.

I can’t get enough of FINLAY! So, I was ecstatic to receive this copy of Rolls the Dice! I’ve read every book and they keep you so engage and this one is just like the others! Funny and Charming! I never get tired of her mischief! I laugh so much during these books because its not calculated, its just chaos!

Elle Cosimano's Finlay Donovan series is SO much fun! In Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice, Vero and Finlay are on the road (with Finlay's children, ex-husband, and mother) to Atlantic City to clear Vero's debt to a loan shark and rescue Vero's friend Javi...what could go wrong? When Finlay's sister arrives, along with several other police officers (including Nick, Finlay's new boyfriend), things become even more interesting.

In typical fashion, the pair get into all kinds of mishaps, find bodies, and have numerous close calls over the course of the novel. I love the friendship between Finlay and Vero, these are two smart women doing dumb things, all the while having each other's back in true best friend fashion. At times, the situations are unbelievably silly, but overall the book, like earlier novels in the series, is funny and entertaining.

Thank you to Netgalley and St Martin's Press-Minotaur Books for the digital ARC of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano. The opinions in this review are my own.

I really enjoyed the latest installment in the Finlay Donovan series. This book had all the promised chaos that I’ve come to expect from this series. I loved the Atlantic City casino setting, Kevin Bacon the dog, and the dynamics between Steven, the kids, Finlay’s mom, and all the cops. Overall a good cozy mystery to keep this series going.

I did find myself struggling to keep up with, and remember from previous books, some of the characters. There are a lot of names! But I do think the book does a good job reminding us who these people are, especially since it’s been over a year since I read the last book. I’m excited to see where this series goes!

Thank you to Netgalley, Minotaur, and Elle Cosimano for an advance copy of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice in exchange for an honest review. I am truly a Finlay and Vero stan and this 4th addition to this series was so fun! Cosimano has a way of drawing the reader in with some big disaster in the beginning which just makes you have to continue to figure out how the heck Finlay will get out of said mess. I feel like this book tied up some loose ends with characters in previous books so maybe this is the end of the series?! I also feel like the ending was vague enough that there could potentially be another book?! I loved the setting in this book and it made me want to get up and drive to Atlantic City so I could be part of the fun too! This one comes out tomorrow, March 5th and I hope you add this one to your Finlay collection (I will definitely be adding it to mine)!

I will never get tired of Finlay and her shenanigans. Are they a little over the top sometimes, a little unbelievable? Yes, but that's why I love them. In a world that is all too serious, Finlay makes me laugh. Who else besides Finlay would take her ex-husband, two kids, and her mother to Atlantic City while also trying to find a stolen car and Vero's kidnapped boyfriend? Speaking of Vero, her friendship with Finlay is one of my favorite parts of this series. Finlay and Vero are the ultimate ride-or-die friends, and everyone should have a Vero in their lives. I already can''t wait for the next book in the series, which Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice perfectly tees up with its very last sentence.

Elle Cosimano has packed this fourth edition of her Finlay Donovan series with humor, mayhem and dead bodies. The whole family, including ex-husband Stephen, the kids, Vero, and Finlay's mother, heads to Atlantic City, supposedly for a girls' weekend but really to solve a BIG problem that involves a car and a missing person. Of course, hot and sexy Detective Nic and other police, plus the FBI show up too. They've had a tip that Feliks is flying back into town. Lots of action and silliness but Cosimano somehow makes it work.

I received an invitation to read an arc from the author and publisher via NetGalley. Many thanks for the opportunity! My review is voluntary and the opinions expressed are my own.

Finlay and Vero are up to their shenanigans once again. I enjoyed this book so much. Finlay and Vero decide to travel to Atlantic City to tie up some loose ends but cannot have their "girls' trip" they planned because her mom, ex husband, and kids all decide to tag along. You already know we are going to be on a wild ride. Are some of the scenarios they find themselves in outlandish? Absolutely. But this doesn't mean they aren't laugh out loud funny and having me want to know what will happen next. I was also excited to see things with Finlay and Nick are progressing! This might be my second favorite book in the series. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!

I love this series! With some series, I get pulled in with the first book and then end up finding the subsequent books are not as engaging. I find this series has consistently built on the storylines of the past and have kept all the things that made the first book so much fun. The book literally picks up where the last book left off. The story takes off at a fast pace and doesn't slow down until the end. I am so entertained by this series. I love the friendship between Fin and Vero. There are so many laugh out loud moments. I loved the addition of Javi to the story as well as learning more about Finlay's mom. The ending of the book was perfect in so many ways. I'm already anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. I can hardly wait for the next installment. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the fourth book in the Finlay Donovan series by Elle Cosimano.

Finlay and Vero pick up right where they left off in the last book. They are heading to Atlantic City for a “girl’s weekend” when they are joined by Finlay’s mother, ex-husband, and her two children. They experience roadblock after roadblock on their adventure. The girls have to pull out all the stops and get creative if they are going to get out of the sticky situation they got themselves into.

Finlay and Vero are up to their usual shenanigans and antics, attracting nothing but trouble. This book continues from the last one with more character growth along with the craziness Finlay finds herself in.

If you are in the mood for a fast-paced, ridiculously fun cozy mystery this book series is for you!

Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for sending me an ARC of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice in exchange for an honest review.
