If you haven’t read one of the Finlay Donovan books yet, you are truly missing out.

Finlay is a divorced mom of two who always seems to find herself embroiled in a crime. With her nanny Vero, Finlay is forever getting in trouble. This time she finds herself in Atlantic City, trying to retrieve her stolen Aston Martin and get Vero out of gambling debt.

When Finlay’s mother and ex-husband decide to join her on the ‘girls’ trip, Finlay not only has to solve a crime, but also find ways to ditch her meddling family members. Vero sniffs out the loan shark she owes. He issues an ultimatum and the fun begins. From impersonating the housekeeping staff at an elite hotel-casino to pizza delivery men, Vero and Finlay keep us in stitches and suspense right up to the end.

These novels are so much fun. With humor, romance, and suspense, there really isn’t much missing from them. I never tire of the stories. Quick reads that are perfect for a plane ride, beach trip, or a snowy day at home. I cannot recommend them enough.

Elle Cosimano returns following Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun with more Team Finlay #4 in the popular series— FINLAY DONOVAN ROLLS THE DICE —a wildly entertaining, action-packed, witty road trip caper with plenty of company. Always 5-stars!

Crashing the trip, Finlay's ex-husband (Captain Buzzkill), her mom, and two kids with partners in crime, Finlay (romantic suspense novelist & mother of two) and Vero (nanny) heading to Atlantic City, NJ —a wild caper with 72 hours to pay back what they owe.

It started as a disguised girl's weekend trip to negotiate a deal with a dangerous loan shark, save Vero’s childhood crush, Javi, and hunt down a stolen car.

Steven (jealous ex-husband) did not want her to take the kids out of state. Then the nosy mother inserted herself, so the girl's weekend trip was a bust. Can you imagine all these in one mini-van?

Steven had recently been the target of a contract killer called EasyClean. They do not know what kinds of shady business Steven was involved in, so they figured Delia and Zach would be safer with them. The lively banter with Vero, the kids, and those complex sleeping arrangements were hilarious.

Upon arrival, Javi’s kidnapper, Marco, refuses to negotiate, demanding payment in full in exchange for Javi’s life. He says he knows the whereabouts of his missing nephew, Ike, who mysteriously disappeared.

Javi had always been Vero's savior, so she must save him! Now, they must come up with a new plan. They must find Javi and the Aston Martin (gifted by the Russian mob), then steal them back.

However, things get more complicated. In the loan shark's suite, they find Marco dead. Now, they have to figure out what to do with the two dead bodies. Then, four members of the police department unexpectedly show up in town, looking for Ike. Georgia, her sister, and her girlfriend arrive, and more due to a hot tip—lots of danger and action.

Hot cop Nick (Finlay's latest squeeze) Detective Nicholas Anthony of the Fairfax County Police Department wants to protect Finlay and her family (especially Finlay). Of course, he is the inspiration for her hot and steamy novels. Is Finlay the connection? How will Finlay and Vero fare?

Quirky, hilarious, non-stop action and laughs with these two partners in crime and their cast of supporting characters! Atlantic City has never been so much fun—a perfect setting.

We also get cameo character appearances from previous books: Georgia, Finlay's sister, her FBI girlfriend, Sam; Cameron, the teen hacker; Joey and Charlie, Nick’s current and former partners; Russian mobster Feliks Zhirov and his right-hand woman Rybakov.

Clever, witty, and, as always, sassy, funny, sexy, and full of madness, mayhem, and entertainment! Dazzling —I love this series! If you love humor, romantic comedies, mysteries, and resourceful women's sleuths, this one is for you! I hope to see more in this series!

I have read them all and anxiously await the next. I am a huge fan of Janet Evanovich and her zany books and series. If you enjoy Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books or her others, you will devour the Finally Donovan series. I would recommend you start with the first and read them all. You do not want to MISS a thing.

Elle Cosimano keeps you in stitches laughing with her snarky banter! Vero is my favorite character (think Lula | Stephanie Plum series). If you want more Vero, read the novella Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank. I adore this series. Team Finlay and Veronica all the way. Keep them coming! Buckle up and get ready for a wild ride.

INTERVIEW: Stay tuned for my upcoming "#AuthorElelvatorSeries Q&A with Elle as we go behind the book and this mega-talented author, coming March 5th!

I had the privilege of reading the e-book and listening to the audio. I have all of Finlay Donovan's audiobooks for the complete series.

AUDIOBOOK 🔉 🎧 As always, I love the audiobook and the fantastic narrator, Angela Dawe! She makes the book. Like Stephanie Plum, Lorelei King, the narrator as Angela Dawe is to Finlay series. Both fantastic! Angela is fabulous, and I love her voice and the laugh-out-loud fun banter. Her performance makes all the characters come ALIVE. I highly recommend the audiobook! Listened in one sitting.

What can I say? I love Finlay! Every book in the series has been a 5 star read for me. This fourth installment is centered around finding Javi before it's too late, and revealing more about Vero and Javi's history. I love Vero's character, and it's nice to get a better glimpse of her past. Finlay is also amazing, but the dynamic between her and Vero truly makes this series a big hit for me. So much happens in this series, but it is well thought out and pretty easy to follow how it all ties together through each book. If you love Jamet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, you will fall in love with Finlay. I recommend this to everyone who is looking for some fast paced thrills, mystery and even some humor and romance. It has it all!

Finlay Donovan is in over her head in this fourth book in this series. She and her motley crew head for Atlantic City to sort out Vero’s situation under the guise of a girls trip to relax. What ensues is anything but relaxing. This book had it all and I was really sorry when I finished it. I certainly hope the ending was actually the beginning of the next book because I can’t get enough of this series!! A must read but only after you have read the first three books!!!!

I keep worrying that the schtick is going to get old with this series, but it hasn’t even come close thus far. This is my favorite of the series since its first installment.

I love how funny these are, and that they manage it alongside good quality mystery content rather than instead of it. Books like these always have the danger of veering off into the absurd, but Cosimano always manages to give us just enough wild antics before reigning it in to focus on the plot. That’s no small feat.

The lovable cast of characters also continues to be a huge plus for this series, and I like that Cosimano’s characters evolve without either betraying who they are or slipping into a different role in the story.

And of course, Atlantic City is an absolutely perfect place to set a book in this series. Loved this one, keep ‘em coming, Elle.

By this time in the series, everything is getting a little bit ridiculous and far-fetched, but what would reading a book about real life do for anybody? We read books so that we can escape life who wants to read things that are actually plausible?

It’s hard to really review things in a series without spoiling anything that happened in the past just in case you haven’t read those. I would assume that by this time you have read them if you’re reading this book in the series but I don’t want to ruin anything.

That being said if you have read anything with Finlay and Vero, then you know there’s hijinx, there’s death, there’s criminals… and I was happy to see some of the romance that we have been waiting for.

You do have to suspend belief with some of these things, but it makes it fun and there’s always humor which is great.

It’s a light series that won’t weigh you down And gives you some fun things to kind of look forward to as you read through them.

It’s true Finlay and Vero fashion, all of the situations that they find themselves in. I could very easily see this as a TV series.

If you enjoy the Finlay Donovan books, you will also enjoy this book!

Reading a Finlay Donovan book feels like home -- it's warm and cozy but also a little kooky and silly. I love this series.

In the fourth installment of Finlay Donovan, we're following Finn and Vero on their road trip to Atlantic City. I can't say too much about the plot of this one since it'd spoil the previous three books, but I can say that this one was full of familiar characters and wacky hijinks.

Going into this book, I struggled remembering what happened in the first three -- why are they going to Atlantic City? Who's died and why/how are Finlay and Vero involved? Who are the "good guys" and who are the "bad guys?" I'm happy that this book seems to wrap up the storylines we've been following since the first book. Each of the three first books ended on a cliffhanger, and I'd have to wait a year to read the next one, only to completely forget everything that happened! Once I was able to piece together the web of characters and secrets I'd read about in the rest of the series, I could really start to enjoy this book. I don't know what Elle Cosimano puts in her writing, but it's so addictive. It's witty and silly but also high-stakes and fast-paced. I like that we get to see glimpses into each character's personal life-- it makes it so easy to fly through chapters in anticipation of what happens next.

I'm excited for the future of Finlay Donovan, and hope we can continue to follow Finn and Vero getting wrapped up in police investigations and mysterious crimes. My only wish is that these future books are standalone mysteries-- maybe duologies. I just found it too difficult to jump back into the action after a year since reading the last one.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press, Minotaur Books for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!!

What an amazing continuation of the Finlay Donovan series. I love this series so much and I love how relatable Finlay is. With all of the people who hop on her and Vero's girls trip, you knew some crazy things were going to go down. I also love how Nick is with Finlay and how when her mom starts going through it with her dad, you can see the connection between what her mom wishes her dad would do and what Nick actually does for Finlay. It is fantastic to see Vero and Finlay finally be able to get what they both want. I thought the series was being wrapped up until the last page or so. Such a jaw dropping ending and I'm going to need more Finlay as soon as possible!

This was so cute! I love Finlay and Vero as characters and this adventure to Atlantic City starts off big and continues throughout. Finlay has so much on her plate between solving the mystery, her mom, her ex-husband, her new boyfriend, her career, and her kids. She is constantly juggling things and that is part of what makes these books so funny.

This is by far my favorite series. I do not even need to know what the book is about. The Shenanigans that Finlay Donovan gets in to is absolutely hilarious and it is just fantastic. I hope this series continues.

This series is entertaining and it is such a fast read. I always hate when the end comes and you have to wait for the next read!

I always recommend this series to everyone. The author has this series downpat and the writing is awesome. this will always be a five star series!

Thanks NetGalley for letting me read and review. Elle Cosimano please keep this series going!

Look, I don’t care how over the top, crazy, or far-fetched the scenarios are that Finlay Donovan and Vero get into. If they’re getting into shenanigans, I will eat it up every time!!

Book 1 and 2 were GREAT! Book 3, was good, though fell a little shorter than 1&2, but I really think Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice was a win! The silliness, the crazy cast of characters, I love this series.

The story takes place in Atlantic City as Finlay and Vero go out in search of Javi and to finally wrap up their business with the mob and Vero’s loan sharks. And they take of….with the whole family in tow. Like their other adventures, this book is is a roller coaster as Vero and Finlay take on Atlantic City and try to settle everything once and for all.

I thought this book was really good! I loved it as a next installment to Finlay Donovan. I look forward to seeing the next book. And can’t wait to purchase this one when it comes out!

THANK YOU Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!! Can’t wait for the next Finlay Donovan adventure.

There are some book series that start strong and fizzle out as the series goes on, Finlay Donovan is NOT one of these. From book one this series has been the most entertaining I have read in a long time. There is not a character that I do not care for what they bring to the book, the dialog is superb, the plot is fantastic. The only thing I don't like about the series is the wait between books. I highly recommend the Finlay Donovan series! Thank you NetGalley for the advanced preview.

Okay this was my fave Finlay since the first one!! The storyline was easier to follow and I felt like it had a good amount of twists & things that kept me interested. I was very apprehensive to read it because I wasn’t a fan of #2 and #3 but I really did enjoy this! Will be reading #5!

A Finlay Donovan book is almost guaranteed to be a fun read and this one didn’t disappoint! I enjoyed following Finlay and Vero on a road trip but I felt like a few recurrent plot points didn’t get the attention I’d been hoping for. We’re still wondering what Steven’s up to and I didn’t feel like there was much growth in Nick and Finn’s relationship. Otherwise this was a quick and funny read.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s press for the ARC!

Finlay and vero are back at it again! This time with Finlay’s mom, ex-husband and her kids tagging along. The way these women manage to get themselves in, and out, of sticky situations is always amazing and funny. Pretty much everything came to a conclusion and was tied with a bow by the end…or was it? I thought for sure this was the last in the serious until the last page…

Oh boy are Finlay and Vero up to their eyeballs in trouble and dead bodies! Their chaos continues right after the Citizens Police Academy. And of course nothing goes right. Hilarious, messed up, and just wild, I had such a great time! The added background of Atlantic City and Money Bosses it’s even more fun! I love the ridiculousness of what they can get themselves into, and it’s a lot!

Thank you to St. Marin’s Press for my gifted copy

I read this book so fast because I really wanted to know what was going to happen. Once again we follow finlay and vero on their crazy adventures. This time they are in Atlantic city, trying to find Javi and of course new dead bodies show up.
This one was so much better than the last book. The action and suspense were back. The crazy antics of finlay and vero were way better.
