Three wonderful stories by three different authors. Each story revolves around letter writing. Very enjoyable read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of novellas by Shelley Shepard Gray, Charlotte Hubbard and Rosalind Lauer Young.

With a little conflict and misunderstanding along the way, the couples all get together through the lost art of writing letters. Each story has very believable characters that are so easy to fall in love with.

Love Letter Courtship by Shelley Shepard Gray is the perfect description of the story. Jennie and Matthew court for months but don’t feel close to each other, but through writing letters their love grows into so much more. This story grabbed my interest from the very beginning.

S.W.A.K by Charlotte Hubbard is to story of Fannie and Eddie and the pink envelopes. This story was good, but a little hard to follow with so many characters in short novella. I think it would have been better developed into a full length book.

The Wrong Valentine by Rosalind Lauer also grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I couldn’t put this one down. Martha is a widow raising her two children and working in her mother-in-laws restaurant. Mose was a little wild during his rumspringa, but has come back home. He is always there to help Martha. A Valentine is misplaced into Mose’s hands and secret valentines are shared…

Each story will touch your heart and make you realize what is truly important in life.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher.

Shelley Shepard Gray and Charlotte Hubbard once again wrote engaging fun stories about mystery love letters. Rosalind Lauer was new to me but I enjoyed her story too. They all write descriptively which brings the story to life as you are reading. I highly recommend this book.

This type of novella collection is perfect for light reading in this busy season! In Shelley Shepard Gray's novella I can really believe this scenario of two people who have feelings for each other, but have known each other their entire lives, and as they contemplate future plans wonder if their feelings for each other are "that" feeling. And the other stories by authors new to me were just as charming. Sometimes you need novellas like this to give your mind a bit of a rest from the real things and takes you on a little ride to Amish country!
I was gifted this copy from the publisher with no expectations of a review.

Shelley Shepard Gray and friends have put together three wonderful stories about the Amish and how they live in the world with us. What I love most though it that we are shown that even the Amish have women who have not gotten the concept of being a true woman. They have been demanding, controlling and wanting only what they want not what the person they have chosen as a mate wants.
But we are also introduced to three woman who know what it means to be a woman of GOD and through love and understanding they win the hearts of the three men even though the men don't know they need them at the time.
Each of these stories put a smile on my face and make me wish at time that I had been born Amish and been able to be a woman of Eve and take care of my family and husband.
I on the other hand worked, was constantly climbing the ladder of success only to realize in my elder years that the ladder really lead nowhere. I wanted children and a family but put it off till it was too late. I would rather have had a husband who came home at night and cherished his family.
These stories will touch your heart and if you are young make you realize what is important in our lives. As we are raised to believe we can have it all but then we can't be the best we need to be at any one thing if we are pulled in to many directions.

I loved these 3 sweet Novellas by Shelley Shepard Grey, Charlotte Hubbard & Rosalind Lauer..
Love Letter Courtship, Jennie Miller is courting long time friend of hers and her brother Matthew slapped. Only problem is, is her family loves him and monopolizes all his time when he’s there. She proposes that they write letters to get to know each other better and to see if the courtship should continue.
S.W.A.K. Taking us back to Promise lodge with Eddie Brubaker and the 2 Fannie’s that want to marry him. One Fannie is sweet and the other very pushy. With both named Fannie poor Eddie is confused with the letters he keeps receiving.
The Wrong Valentine, Martha and Mose had to be my favorite. When Martha’s old Valentine she had made for her husband accidentally is still in the envelope that her daughter’s Valentine to Mose is in. Starts spark of God’s will for these two lost souls.
I received a copy of this book to leave my honest and unbiased review!

Amish Love Letters is a sweet set of stories by three authors. Each has its own special moments even though all three center on love notes. I really enjoyed all three. I feel that any of them could become full fledged books and we could spend more time with the characters. Thanks NetGalley.

Amish Love Letters is a compilation of three Valentine novellas by popular Amish fiction authors Shelley Shepard Gray, Charlotte Hubbard, and Rosalind Lauer.

A Love Letter Courship by Shelley Shepard Gray is about Jennie Miller and Matthew Lapp, who've been courting for six months. When Jennie refuseds Matthew's proposal, will their relationship be over for good?

S.WA.K. by Charlotte Hubbard will take you back to the beloved Promise Lodge community, where two different Fannies are after the same man--Eddie Brubaker. Who will be the winner?

The Wrong Valentine by Rosalind Lauer takes readers back to the Joyful River community, where Martha Lambright is struggling raising her two smal children alone after the tragic accident and death of her husband. Mose drives her and her children around the community every weekday. Could this former bad boy, son of their bishop, be possible marriage material?

These three stories were a fun, light-hearted read, I thought.

Thanks to Kensington Books and #NetGalley for an ARC e-pub of this book. All opinions expressed herein are strictly my own.

Shelley Shepard Gray-Love Letter Courtship-An Amish couple that planned on marrying are having second thoughts. They decide to try courting each other through letter writing for 30 days. Will this make a difference in their relationship or should they go their separate ways?

Charlotte Hubbard-S.W.A.K.-Two ladies named Fannie create a lot of havoc in Eddie Brubaker's world. Will he realize there are 2 Fannie's fighting for his attention and choose the one that God has planned for him?

Rosalind Lauer-The Wrong Valentine. When a young widow, Martha, with 2 children, mistakenly gives her Amish driver a Valentine that was from her deceased husband, a daily Valentine card exchange begins. Neither Martha or Mose know the true identity of their secret admirers.

All three of these novellas are sweet stories about love and God's plan. I highly recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book but the opinions expressed are my own.

Amish Love Letters by Shelley Shepard Gray, Charlotte Hubbard, and Rosalind Lauer is a sweet collection of novellas that are reminders about the power of writing and receiving a letter. In each of these three sweet Amish romances, written communication might work much better.

In Love Letter Courtship, Jennie's family loves Matt so much that they monopolize his time when he visits. Jennie and Matt learn about each other through their words shared through the letters they send. S.W.A.K. is a cute, funny story filled with confusion and learning the importance of speaking up from the start. A trip back to Promise Lodge, Fannie knows she wants Eddie but things don't go exactly as planned when pink paper and love get mixed up. Don't assume anything in matters of the heart. The Wrong Valentine story wasn't so wrong. Martha, a young widow helps the giggly young girls at work create Valentine's. When a card accidently gets mixed up with another, a romance grows between a widow and her driver as they pass secret valentines between them. There is a lot of kindness in the giving of a card, especially where love is concerned.

Anthologies like this offer readers a chance to experience different writing styles and storytelling within a common theme. If you enjoy Amish romance or inspirational fiction, "Amish Love Letters" may provide a delightful reading experience with its collection of love stories set against the backdrop of Amish life.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Amish Love Letters by Shelley Shepard Gray, Charlotte Hubbard, and Rosalind Lauer contains three sweet Amish stories. Love Letter Courtship by Shelley Shepard Gray is a charming tale. It is well-written with engaging characters. Jennie Miller and Matthew Lapp may have grown up together, but their courtship seems to be a Miller family affair. A month-long letter courtship will give the pair an opportunity to get to know each other as adults. We see that you may grow up with someone, yet you may not know everything about them. Love Letter Courtship is an emotional novel with a lovely ending. S.W.A.K. by Charlotte Hubbard takes us back to Promise Lodge. I found Eddie Brubaker and the determined letter writer to be frustrating. The story seemed to go around in circles. Eddie ignored advice (the letter writer was not going to go away) and manages to hurt someone feelings I the process. I was surprised that an Amish girl was so brazen. There are also a number of characters in the story (it seems like every character from Promise Lodge makes an appearance). The story does have a good lesson or two. I did feel that the romance was rushed. I enjoy reading Charlotte Hubbard’s novels, but S.W.A.K. was a miss for me (it left me annoyed). The Wrong Valentine by Rosalind Lauer is a touching story. I thought it contained good writing and characters. The descriptions of Mose’s sketches and Martha’s Valentine’s allowed me to visualize them. The ending left me smiling. I enjoyed reading Love Letter Courtship and The Wrong Valentine. I read each story in one sitting. While I liked visiting Promise Lodge and catching up with the characters in S.W.A.K., I was not a fan of the story. Amish Love Letters is a triumvirate of tales with a letter courtship, an interfering family, pink correspondence, painting parties, helpful counsel, a wary widow, cute sketches, and helpful friends.

Amish Love Letters combines three novellas, two of which are my favorite authors. Love Letter Courtship brings Matt and Jennie together, but are they really together. Jennie rejects Matt's proposal. She really feels like she doesn't know him. So he proposes with a stipulation: they write letters in order to get to know one another. Will this bring them closer or further apart? SWAK by Charlotte Hubbard returns us to Promise Lodge. Fannie knows that Eddie is all she wants in a man. However, discovering she may have competition, Fannie writes a love letter to Eddie. But a huge mix up could put the romance on hold before it starts? Will Fannie win Eddie? The Wrong Valentine is a sweet novella that begins a sweet secret valentine exchange that could bring love. Will Martha and Mose find love? Such sweet and tender stories. I loved curling up and enjoying the romance of Valentines. I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

Grab a cozy blanket and a warm beverage. This collection of sweet Amish love stories will give you all the cozy feelings wrapped up in three well-written stories. Each story is unique and unrelated to the others, but yet they go together well to form this collection. I appreciated the character development even in the limited word space of a novella. I appreciated the strong uplifting and encouraging aspects of each story. I loved the personal growth that readers can observe in the main characters of each story as well. I highly recommend this book to any lover of sweet stories and to any lover of Amish stories.

I requested and received a copy of this book for review, but the thoughts expressed here are wholly my own.

After six months of courtship, Jennie Miller has refused Matt Lapp’s proposal. Though he visits regularly, they never seem to talk deeply, and Jennie longs for real connection and romance. This is Jennie Miller and Matt Lapp’s story.
“He’s here, Jenni!” Mamm called out. “Where are you? We’re all in the hearth room.”
The announcement pulled Jenni from her musings with the force of a wrecking ball. Sitting on her bed, she struggled to feel even half as enthusiastic as her mother sounded about Matt’s visit. “Okay.”
“Okay?” Her mamm’s incredulous tone drifted closer through the closed door. “Jenni, Matthew seems especially eager to see you tonight. Don’t keep him waiting.”

Love Letter Courtship by Shelley Shepard Gray
S.W.A.K by Charlotte Hubbard and
The Wrong Valentine by Rosalind Lauer

This collaboration is well organized with great plot development. All stories center around Valentine’s Day.

It is wonderful how the authors can share new stories about old characters as well as bring in new ones. It is a quick read and moves well from one story til the next.

The nice thing about collections, is that you get to enjoy authors you know and enjoy as well as be introduced to new ones.

I highly recommend you read this one. Release Day is December26
