A parenting book that is focused on the parent regulating themselves vs the parent regulating the child. Another great resource from Aliza Pressman for parents. With her five principles of relationships, reflection, regulation, rules and repair she gives the parent a game plan on how the parent can help themselves to help their child. She does this with humor and humility in a way that is not shaming or righteous. A hard combination to find.
Thank you to NetGalley and Simon Schuster for the ARC!

The 5 Principles of Parenting is one I will keep referring back to. Excellent read that clearly defines each principle at each stage of life. Very ease to read and follow! 5 stars!

I can't even tell you how great this book is! It's a very easy read, kept me engaged, offers a lot of helpful and valuable information! I can't recommend this book enough.

Great, thorough parenting resources. I wrote an article drawn from the book for Lifehacker. https://lifehacker.com/family/how-to-instill-gratitude-in-kids
