There are so many cats to draw! I don’t have drawing talent but my drawings were recognizable. The instructions were easy to follow and I look forward to working my way through all of them. This is a cute book and I recommend it.

Kawaii drawings are always a winner. The cats included in this book are super cute. There are lots of variations for them to play around with.

I'll be buying the physical copy for my daughters birthday.

A stunning book and a great resource for anyone interested in learning the way to draw even cuter cats! To say this was well received by my 8year old daughter would be an understatement, she spent hours upon hours drawing.

Such adorable illustrations that were very easy to follow. I found myself improving my sketches as I worked my way through each page! Each little kawaii kitty had such a strong personality that shone through the simplicity of the images - just as they should with Kawaii drawings.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to start out their journey with illustrations and especially the Kawaii style .

The contrast of black lines for what has already been drawn, and red lines for where you continue in the next step, really help make this a guide that can be followed, whilst also enjoying yourself on the way through. I usually find step-by-step drawing books very difficult to follow, so this truly was a breath of fresh air!

I have only used this book to draw a couple of kitties, but this book has a much larger variety of cats to draw than I had expected. They are all super cute and I'm looking forward to trying them all. The step by steps are easy to follow and I like the guide at the beginning of the book about the various facial expressions and colours that you can use.

I would recommend this book if you like to doodle but are never too sure where to start, or even if you just want some inspiration.

A little boring and basic as all the cats are essentially the same rounded shape. Not that cute to me I'm afraid!

Split into different sections, cats in costumes, cats as food, drawing different breeds, there is a type of kitty for everyone.

Very cute ideas for drawing. Not great for beginners though just mostly outlines to copy, but how do beginners learn to copy without stroke instruction? If someone already has a technique this would help just fine.

Super cute and adorable way to learn to draw kawaii kitties! I am not an artist and I found I could follow along well enough, and still end up with cute drawings.

Do you like to draw? Do you like cats? Do you like drawing Kawaii? If so then this book you will highly enjoy. I have recently learned I still like to draw , just not as much as I did as a kid . Kawaii I have found to be very fun and actually easier than I thought it would be. Olive Yong has done a fantastic job showing you step by step with very easy to understand instructions on how to draw these Absolut adorable cats. Bengal cat, The Scottish fold, ragdoll, snowshoe, Japanese bobtail, American shorthair. Russian blue, European shorthair, Norwegian forest, Sphynx, and Siamese .

This is a wonderful, quirky book which my 9 year-old loves. The author teaches you to draw different breeds, cats dressed up and there’s a fantastic, quirky section on cats as food. Favourites to copy from this section include Kitty Cheeseburger, Corn Cat, Kitty Roll and Cup Cat. We were kindly given an advanced reading copy of this book and it’s such a hit that a hard copy is now on my daughter’s Christmas list.

This is just a simple but cute book on how to draw different types of cats. As a cat lover I am totally here for it and this was such an easy book to understand and follow. Perfect for people like me who cannot draw cats to save their life.

Mini Kawaii Kitties is an adorable book for aspiring artists and cat lovers alike! I absolutely loved the selection of cute kitties throughout the book and the instructions make drawing them easy for even some of the most challenged artists.

Le istruzioni sono davvero semplicissime e dopo aver sperimentato un po' sicuramente sarà molto facile creare da zero nuove posizioni o magari il proprio nuovo stile di gattini kawaii!

A really simple and intuitive little book on how to draw lots of super cute and chubby kittens!
The instructions are really simple and after experimenting a bit it will certainly be very easy to create new positions from scratch or perhaps your own new style of kawaii kittens!

This is a mini version of the original, which I reviewed last year or so. They are cute drawings but they are a little one note— basically a bunch of ways to draw the same fat cat with a stump tail doing all kinds of things like posing with a dead mouse, eating a bag of chips, and chasing butterflies. At the end, there are a few other breeds, with some looking more like the real breeds than others, and cats as inanimate objects. I’m not a big fan of these faces or drawing things like cats as hamburgers and ice cream cones, but it’s a good guide if you want to easily copy the author’s style. It’s a cute book if you want lots of inspiration for this type of doodle.

I love, love, love these kawaii drawing books, and this one does not disappoint! Such a cute series that helps you learn how to draw kitties in action from various angles. Teaches how to draw different breeds as well. Highly recommend!
