THIS WAS SO ADORABLE!!! Perfect for early readers [and all cat lovers], this is a cute children's graphic novel about a kitten who is also a Ninja and excels at naps, yarn wrangling and friend helping. Filled with excellent illustrations and fun stories, this is a book kids will go back to again and again. I loved this so much!!!
Thank you to NetGalley, Collen AF Venable, Marcie Colleen, Ellen Stubbings - Illustrator, and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Before he was a fearless cat ninja, the brave defender and protector of Metro City, Cat Ninja used to be an adorable, playful and cute kitten Ninja. He fought foes and captured them, protecting and saving his best friend from the enemy titled The Snow.
This prequel was superbly well-written and the illustrations are amazingly beautiful. Kitten Ninja is as adorable as Cat Ninja and I loved it. It's short, sweet and charming. Totally engaging. I'd definitely recommend this.
My son and I loved Kitten Ninja! It was right up his and his sister alleys as they love graphic novel/comic books. This book was a collection of tales of Ninja Kitten, the world's most helpful super cat. My favorite was "The Spot" both myself and my children giggled at the antics of that silly spot! My son said he loved the snow story as he enjoys the idea of the bird and cat being friends. The illustrations were wonderful for this style and the writing style made it easy for my 6 year old to (almost) solo read while her 10 year old brother helped with the larger words (there weren't many) making this a great little reader companion. Both my children use "epic" in school and said they would be thrilled to see more Kitten Ninja adventures.
Thank you to Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC of this!
This was absolutely adorable! Kitten Ninja was up against a few silly villains; the sunny spot, a ball of yarn, and the snow. My 7 year old loved this! The art was too cute.
This is cute! Omg i can bear it how much i love read this. Im guarantee kids will love its too. Please, please, please you should read it too! In order to overcome reading slump, this book is a choice
Adorable! This book will remind readers of Narwhal and Jelly and it also reminded me of Waffle & Pancakes. Super cute with easy to follow stories that young readers will enjoy.
Ahhhh I want my cats to be just like kitten ninja.
Kitten ninja never gives up…..unless he needs a nap! What an adorable set of tales where our kitten ninja gets into multiple shenanigans!! Good thing there is always later for our hero!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The short stories about Kitten Ninja prequel of Cat Ninja comic.
Consists of tree short humorous stories 2 of them connects.
I adored writing and art style which was utterly adorable.
Would for as book as quite young reader to read together or alone.
Thanks Net galley for digital/advanced copy.
Kitten Ninja contains three short books about Kitten Ninja, an adorable kitten who not only takes on “enemies” but looks after his friends. Having several cats of my own, I can attest that the enemies Kitten Ninja takes on have been fought many times in my own home; in fact, there is currently a kitten and cat wrestle mania occurring at the moment I write this. However, my cats differ from Kitten Ninja in that unlike his kind soul, they would do anything to crash through a window and “play” with a bird, not rescue its food as our hero did.
These are delightful stories to be read to young children. And anyone who has ever watched a kitten or cat at work can relate to Kitten Ninja’s adventures. The illustrations are absolutely adorable.
I recently became a great aunt and have not yet purchased a gift for my great nephew. I think this book, when published, is what I will get him for his first birthday.
Highly recommended.
I received this book as an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this book.
I'll admit I downloaded this one because I was missing all three of my nieces. Each of them would have found something to love about this book and I could hear the little giggles at certain parts as I was reading this to myself. The illustrations were super cute and this book could have been longer and I would have enjoyed even more parts of it.
I was excited to see something new from the author of Katie the Catsitter, and since it was cat themed it was a win win for me! This is an adorable graphic novel with a few different shorts so to speak, all about Kitten Ninja and their adventures. The art is colorful and adorable, perfectly suited to stories about an adventurous kitten. If you love cats definitely give this a read, it's quick, fun and adorable.
The short stories about Kitten Ninja reminded me of the Narwhal and Jelly books. They were very clever and cute, and the pacing was great for a kids' book. Kitten ninja will be a fast favorite of kids everywhere.
Such an adorable comic about a Kitten and it's anventures in a day to day basis. The book features three stories that are humourous even to an older audience. It's perfect for younger readers, and both me and my niece found it an enjoyable read.
"(kitten ninja flops down)Uh, have I mentioned that sleep is important, too?" - Mood

A ninja cat, a graphic novel and imaginative one. This kitten is used to playing to be a good ninja, yet a silly ninja. lol.
Fun story, perfect to sit down on a coach and read it in less than 20min. But i guess it wasn't my type at all.

My eight year old loves the Cat Ninja series! Kitten Ninja is perfect for younger siblings, emerging readers, or when your child just wants a short and funny book!
In this book kitten ninja takes on three dangerous foes: The Spot, The Ball of Yarn, and The Snow. Yes, they all need capitol letters. These are dastardly villains! Kitten ninja is perfectly kitten-like with his napping, stretching, bathing, and playfulness. The stories are simple and cute, and the illustrations match perfectly.
As cuddly and warm as a sunbeam, these charming tiny adorable tails ... er, tales ... of Kitten Ninja are a delightful celebration of the combined storytelling talents of Marcie Colleen AF Venable!
Kitten Ninja is a super cute book about a little kitty belonging so a sweet old lady and its adventures with various things around the house. the book is vibrant and fun and will easily hold the attention of a small child. the illustrations are clean and pleasing to look and and the kitty's little antics had me smiling throughout the book. Very lovely.
This is a great introductory graphic novel. Newer readers will appreciate the accessible text and descriptive graphics. Older readers, even adults, will enjoy it too, especially if they like cats.
It's broken into stories, much like Narwhal and Jelly. This provides nice breaks for new readers and a sense of accomplishment for others.
The illustrations are great - colorful but simple. For some reason I hate the font - it's Arial or Calibri or something that comes off very self-published.
