Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.

When a young girl is found dead, posed in the snow at the local church. Lottie Parker and her team need to investigate. When a second girl is found at the other church, suspicion falls on father Maguire.

Loved this. So many twists and turns. There were so many suspects and you could feel Lottie’s frustration at the lack of evidence.

I’m not a huge fan of the back story of Boyd and his son Sergio. At the start of the book I was inwardly groaning, but it definitely grew on me as things transpired.

A great read!

This one was really good. Book 13, but it felt like the story was how Gibney wrote them at the beginning. Her family wasn’t involved in the case & no drama. It’s almost Christmas and a snow storm has begun, school is canceled & people are staying in. Then two little girls are found murdered outside parishes. Lottie & gang have their hands full investigating. Was it the new priest or is it someone more sinister? There’s a lot going on & many characters to keep track of, but everyone & everything comes together nicely.

A young girl is reported missing in Ragamullin. Willow Devine had been dropped off at school by her mum during a snow storm - her mum Zoe was not aware that school had been cancelled due to the snow. When a body is found some hours later it is presumed it's Willow but it turns out to be her school friend Naomi Kiernan. Naomi had not been reported missing and her mother claims she was unaware that school was closed that day. With suspicions about one of the local priests, an evasive mother, a social worker who seems to have a vendetta for the Kiernan family and a creepy undertaker Lottie Parker and her team have their work cut out to track down the murderer. Lottie is also struggling to care for her family and her mother who's dementia is worsening. Her colleague and lover Boyd is distracted as he's still trying to trace his son Sergio who was taken by his ex-wife Jackie several months earlier.

Another fantastic read in this series

Thanks to Netgalley, Bookouture and Patricia Gibney for the ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
