I loved it! Suspenseful and Gripping! A Princess in Plaid will keep you spellbound as it takes you on a rollercoaster ride that brims with tension building twists and turns, trials and tribulations, danger, and deception that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat. The MacGalloways series of stories has a carry over of characters that take us through these love stories about family unity. I love Amy Jarecki books that gives readers a well-written story, filled it with flawed characters who manage to grow and yet retain their personalities which captivates you from the beginning until the very end, sizzling passion, and with great dialogue. With setting descriptions and action sequences that are wonderfully vivid that brings the story to life and as the uncertainties escalates the suspense builds and catastrophes abound which brings this read together perfectly.

Well, let me say this story is absolutely brilliant and it captivated me from the most shocking beginning.
Grace a most illustrious bride was totally caught off balance and now as a princess what is she supposed to do?
This story is filled with one catastrophe after another throughout this emotional topsy-turvy romance story.
Grace now a princess has been saved from near death as her coach crashes and she is saved by Fraiser a highlander.
Soon there is a spark of attraction that flourishes with more heat as time goes by but being of two different stations in life along with her being married creates a story that held my attention to the very end.
Friends and family keep this story moving with their opinions and at times land a helping hand.
We follow Grace and Fraiser as they both experience life changing situations that had me shedding tears, gasping through the prison debacle, smiling at the very rewarding ending that put a huge smile on my face especially the last 3 chapters that made me want to give this story more than the 5 stars.

Amy Jarecki has outdone herself with this royal romance taking you on a heartwarming journey where dreams are crushed, hearts are broken, and secrets revealed creating an unforgettable fairy tale with a perfect happily ever after.
