The perfect book to read during these dark evenings. Five Gold Rings will give you all the festive feels.

I loved this book. I laughed out loud so many times (honestly, stealing somebody's Christmas turkey is a level of pettiness that I aspire to). Eve and Joe (hello new book boyfriend) made a great team. Their witty banter kept me very entertained throughout. Throw in a few disasters and some really heartfelt moments and you really have the ultimate festive chick lit. My favourite book of Kristen's so far.

A definite five (gold rings) stars from me.

Of you love Christmas and love romantic comedy books then this one is for you. Cleverly using one of the twelve days of Christmas, five gold rings as the link behind the story the reader is taken through an hilarious journey into the festive season. Written by an author who loves Christmas and all that entails. Thanks to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Sorry. I couldn’t finish this book. I was so excited for a fun rom com with Xmas but the adultery in the first little bit was too much and I couldn’t read it as a trigger.

Can I just say that this story would make the most perfect Hallmark Christmas movie!

I’m already a massive fan of Kristen Bailey so as soon as I saw a book based around the festive period I knew that I would love it.

It is laugh out loud funny from start to finish and also has a slow burn romance whilst the two main characters decide to finally admit how they are feeling about each other.

It’s a cosy festive read and is one you can easily read in a day whilst curled up with hot chocolate.

Eve has just caught her boyfriend in flagrante in their shower, on the eve of Christmas Eve. She promptly decides to throw all the gifts they bought for their families out of their apartment window and in doing so, finds the engagement ring he had bought her. After doing a little apartment trashing therapy, Eve heads over to the jeweler where she happens to work, and they call up their other employee Joe a part-time G-rated Christmas stripper, ex-doctor, who is secretly in love with her. Then the Caspars realize that an important delivery was flubbed, five gold rings need to be delivered for for Christmas proposals and weddings. Eve is a little tipsy and Joe is dressed as a sexy elf, and they proceed on some hilarious adventures—a wedding on a boat, sea-sickness, visiting a nursing home, and ex-boyfriend revenge.
This was a light-hearted romp, fun and funny that gets you in the feels. But it was a bit too wacky, a bit too Love Actually wackiness for me. That being said, this was fun and sweet

This was fun and festive and heartwarming, and I enjoyed it so much more than I expected to! Great read for the holiday season!

I loved this! This was an awesome Christmas read. Uniquely different. I really liked the premise that you could still have masses of Christmas spirit in the most unlikely places.

Eve and Joe are a great couple, they balance each other out. They may have been thrust together in a wild Christmas ring extravaganza but it was perfect. They bonded and solidified their friendship. They got to experience five different expressions of love with each ring, showing that there was no one size fits all, no perfect idea of love. It is just love.

The sibling banter was great too, it really helped to round the characters out, and the Christmas names in Eves family were a nice touch.

I laughed and live right along with Eve and Joe and all the great couple waiting on a special ring delivery (and cufflink delivery) from the Caspers. A perfect Christmas read.

Kristen Bailey hit another home run with this story! I was giggling and laughing out loud within the first chapter and it didn’t stop there! This a very well put together story. It was highly entertaining, sweet, funny, romantic and I think it took quite an imagination to think this up. I loved the characters, but felt that Eve was drunk too much of the time. Other than her excessive drinking, this was a such a fun read that I read it twice, it was THAT good of a story! I also loved that a few of the Callaghan’s made an appearance. I’ve missed that family and I’m off to reread those books again.
I am leaving this unbiased review via the free book given to me by Kristen Bailey, Storm Publishing & NetGalley. Thanks for the fun ride!!

A fun holiday romance that sees two strangers/semi-co-workers working together to deliver five rings to customers in time for Christmas. Perfect for fans of authors like Beth O'Leary and Catherine Walsh, this was a feel-good, mad cap adventure/road trip type Hallmark movie style romance. Good on audio too. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review.

Steam level: kissing only

How have I only just discovered Kristen Bailey?!?! This book was just the most enjoyable band fun read for ages!! Proper laugh out loud moments, the boat trip being absolutely hilarious along with a memorable Tesco shopping trip! Eve and Joe were totally meant to be together. Both had sad backstories but there was no dwelling in misery, it was sensitively done and the story just cracked on. I can’t wait to read this again, have recommended to my friends and daughter and am downloading all Kirsten’s previous books! Thanks Netgalley x

Rom-Com/Christmas/London
What a cute story!
Eve comes home from a work event early and finds her boyfriend with someone else. To make matters worse, it’s right before Christmas.
After making a huge scene, (a great one at that) she goes to her weekend workplace (Jewelry store) for some distractions.
Joe works there and since she has had a boyfriend, she has not really thought of home any way except a nice co-worker. While at the store, the owners of the shop realize that some rings did not get to their intended deliveries and they are holiday gifts.
Eve and Joe take on the task of delivering the rings to the correct owners. Along the way we learn that Joe has been pining for Eve and Eve may start to see Joe in a new light.
I have never read any books by @kristenbaileywrites and I look forward to reading more.
Thank you to @netgalley for the ARC!

I am clearly in the holiday spirit, I can't get enough of Christmas romance novels. This one was HILARIOUS. I loved the characters and even the side ones. The plot was unique and cozy.

Just a book load of infectious Christmas joy 🥰 Eve catches her boyfriend cheating before Christmas and ends up spending the holiday delivering rings to customers from the jewellery shop she works at with Joe, who is secretly and majorly pining for her. Joe is everything - so bloody adorable and lovable and swoony. I loved reading Eve’s journey to realising this. As always with Kristen Bailey, this is laugh out loud funny and Eve in particular is a hilarious character - Bridget Jones vibes.

And do not get me started on how much I LOVED the epilogue in this. Sex Ed has been one of my favourite books recently and I was OVERJOYED to read about Ed and Mia in this most adorable context.

What to expect:

- he falls first
- forced proximity
- friends to lovers
- Christmas hilarity

Eve has a very dramatic breakup and ends up on a ring delivery quest with her coworker and the jewelry store, Joe. This story had tons of festive Christmas shenanigans and and a sweet undercurrent of romance throughout. I definitely got the movie, Love Actually, and Hallmark Christmas movie vibes! I loved that Joe was such a simp for Eve and I enjoyed all the side characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC of this story. I think this concept would have actually been better as a screenplay. I’d watch this movie every year for Christmas. But it wasn’t quite developed enough for me as a novel. The chemistry was kind of flat and girlie moving on from such heartbreak in a matter of days is not realistic. Now let me be clear, I love hallmark Christmas movies - so I’m not necessarily looking for the most realistic plot in my Christmas romances, but I don’t think there was enough fleshed out about Eve processing, grieving, and moving on from her previous relationship. And the reason that stood out was because Eve was aware that moving on would be a rebound! Then 2 pages later she was like, 🤷‍♀️

So I said all that to say this: go in this book for the Christmas vibes and don’t think too deeply about it 🎄

Fantastic Christmas romance! Kristen is the queen of the ridiculous funny situation and this book is lovely heartwarming quest to get revenge and make everyone’s Christmas! Absolutely put me in the Xmas spirit! Also loved the little reference to Sex Ed in the end *chef’s kiss*

I loved this book from beginning to end. I laughed and cried.
Co-workers Eve and Joe have to deliver 5 engagement/wedding rings to 5 different people on 24th and 25th December. Something happens at every stop which just adds to the fun of the book, which brings Eve and Joe closer together. Think Last Christmas mixed with a bit of Love Actually thrown in, it's a fun holiday read, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a laugh.

Thank you to NetGalley and Storm publishing for an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was such a fun holiday book. It definitely got me in the christmas mood!! Joe was to die for. He was probably my favorite part of the whole book. I loved how there was an adventure aspect to this book! I loved seeing which little hiccups were going to happen as they delivered the rings. Usually I’m not a fan of slow burn but in this case it seemed right. I also was fighting some tears in the epilogue when Ed came in to buy Mia a ring. My heart was so happy

4.25⭐️

It’s Christmas Eve, and Eve comes home early to find her boyfriend in the shower with another woman (and he’s not even remotely apologetic!) Just like that, Eve’s world is turned upside down. Thankfully, her kindly employers at the jewelers where she works are looking out for her. They send her on a mission with her coworker Joe to collect some misdelivered rings and re-route them to their rightful owners. Five golden rings, to be specific. And thus many quirky and heartwarming holiday hijinks ensue.

This story is often cute, sometimes funny, offbeat, and entirely sweet and festive. I enjoyed it and rooted for Eve and Joe all along their merry way.

Thank you Kristen Bailey, Storm Publishing, Dreamscape Select, and NetGalley and for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.
