This book was such a heart-warming Christmas read and I absolutely loved it.
This book is full of laugh out loud moments and festive joy and it was one that had me laughing and smiling throughout.
I really liked the pace of this book and felt it was the right amount of fast and slow, and the romance aspect itself was really great to read, that didn’t felt overly rushed or forced and was quite nice to read at the pace it was.
If you’re looking for a cute, romance Christmas read, this is the perfect one for the season and to get you into the festive mood!
I don't think I have read this author before but it was well worth doing so. A Christmas rom com with plenty of laughter along the way. 5 stars and a good read.

After a mix up at the jewellers, 'Five Gold Rings' follows Eve and Joe as they venture around returning rings to their rightful owners. Their mission sends them in a range of directions; face first into festive celebrations, proposals and weddings - filled with plenty of comedic moments, romance, and a lil bit of heartbreak.
My emotions were all over the place, but in the best way. I was honestly kicking my legs and squealing at some points, as well as full on laughing out loud. I was left wanting... no NEEDING more!! The epilogue also?!?! Ahhhhh!!
I could honestly talk for hours about this book. I absolutely devoured it!! The perfect festive Rom-Com.
5/5

Five Gold Rings is an amazing, fun, laugh out loud holiday read! Fans of Bailey's other books with absolutely adore this story.
The book switches between Eve and Joe's points of view. Eve recently discovered her boyfriend cheating is on the mend from the shock and breakup. Joe is a work colleague and has had a thing for Eve for quite some time. When Eve decides to throw out all the Christmas gifts she's bought for her ex, she discovers an engagement ring purchased from the very shop where she works. When Joe is brought in to help with consoling her.
This is another great book by Bailey. The characters are relatable and likeable. The story is solid and genuine, even if the breakup and quick to love bit happens pretty quickly. Most of all, Bailey has a wonderful way of bringing humor to her stories. It all combines to make a wonderful holiday read.
What a fun and fresh take on the holiday romantic comedy! With plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, an adventure to right the wrongs of rings delivered to the wrong addresses before Christmas is ruined, and a budding romance that will hit you in the feels, Five Gold Rings is utterly perfect and one of the best I've read in a long long time!
Someone call Richard Curtis please because this book just has to be made into a Christmas film!
After Eve finds her boyfriend in what can only be described as a compromising situation in the shower a couple of days before Christmas, she is naturally devastated. She gets lots of sympathy from her lovely employers, Mr and Mrs Caspar and an unexpected mission. Along with her colleague, Joe, who is still dressed (sort of!) as an elf from his other job, they have to deliver five gold rings to various people around London. Unbeknown to Eve, Joe is completely in love with her. I was so hoping he’d have the courage to tell her or that she would finally notice him.
Eve and Joe get themselves into all kinds of silly situations which really did have me laughing out loud at times. These involve an ice sculpture, family divisions causing havoc at a wedding and a very real nativity among other things. The places and people they had to deliver the rings to were all so different and all full of some drama or other!
Kristen Bailey has said that all the names in the book are connected to Christmas so I had fun looking for all those. I think I got most of the connections but am puzzled by Audrey…
Five Gold Rings is just so funny throughout although I did find myself with an unexpected lump in my throat on a couple of occasions. Never mind Five Gold Rings, this gets Five Gold Stars from me!
After finding her boyfriend in a compromising position on Christmas Eve, instead of the festivities she thought would happen, Eve is off on a delivery mission of wedding rings with her colleague Joe. Will she start to see him in a new light? A fun read.
What could be better than a festive friends to lovers book.
Meet Eve who comes home to make a shocking discovery . She’s soon picked up by her friend Joe and they find themselves on an adventure together. Lots of laughs along the way.
Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and it's well done here. Eve and Joe are part time co-workers at a small jewelry store. After a mix up, they are assigned to make five last minute ring deliveries on Christmas Eve. Eve caught her fiancé cheating and is a bit of a mess. Joe has always had a crush on Eve but realizes this isn't the best time to make his move.
The story is funny and sweet, with great side characters. It all take place in a day and moves fast. Highly recommend, it's a great read.
Five Gold Rings is a cute Christmas rom-com from Kristen Bailey that will get you in the holiday mood.
A real feelgood novel told from the viewpoints of Eve and Joe who meet working part time at a jewellers in Hatoon Garden. The premise is a little crazy but it works. You find yourself rooting for both of them throughout the story and the written style of the author is enjoyable. Thanks to Net Galley for the copy.
5 ⭐️ Festive fun. A fabulous light hearted rom-com. I loved the relationship between Eve & Joe and the fun they had delivering the Five Gold Rings after a mix up with a courier.
This book was just so much fun and pure festive perfection! I'm so glad I got to read it and enjoyed every minute! Highly recommend.
This book was so funny and so cute! It hit all the right marks for a holiday read and made me really happy and ready to celebrate the holiday season.
I could totally see this book as a film! There are so many giggle worthy moments, and romantic moments too, that it is dying out to be made onto a big or little screen. Actually I could probably see it as a stage production too - it's just so enjoyable.
It's such a lovely story, and the mission to deliver 5 gold rings over the run upto Christmas, leads to so many fabulous situations.
Oh and did I mention that Eve's co-Christmas good deeder - also works as a sexy elf, complete with his own jingle balls (I mean bells).
There is just fun, innuendo and even more around every page.
For Joe has fancied Eve for ages and just wants to make her feel better after she caught her boyfriend receiving a job in the shower (you can use your imagination as to what sort of a job). Eve goes a bit ballistic, in one of the best instant revenge type scenes I've read in a long while.
And there is even better revenge later in the book that had me greatly amused too, but I won't spoil it. So when her employers at the jewellers, ask them to team up to deliver these rings it is very fortunate timing.
Each chapter is split so that we get some from Eve's perspective and some from Joe's and I loved getting to know both characters.
This book is a lot of fun, and made me feel quite festive and also it's full of romantic gestures too - all over London.
Utterly enjoyable, provides hours of fun and amusement while you are reading it. I really should this author more often!
Thank you to Storm Publishing and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope. But, I have to say, this book was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the banter that was all through out the book. I couldn’t tell if I liked Eve or Joe more. I felt like I went back and forth on who was my favorite at the moment. The only thing that detracted from this story for me was the fact that Eve was constantly drunk in the beginning. That was hard to read. Maybe because I’m not a big drinker? But it just seemed to take away from who she was as a character. Some of the situations were a little too unbelievable too but I enjoyed reading them. No spice in the book and definitely more of a clean read. I’d recommend for a fun Christmas romcom though.
This book was AMAZING. I’ve read some of her novels before and find them so so refreshing. Always funny, characters very likeable (apart from the knobbish ex in this case) and you find yourself rooting for happiness for both Eve and Joe right from the start. I loved the quest, their jobs in the jewellers, the wacky twists and turns their quest took them on. All far fetched and hilarious and just brilliant. Really made for a heart warming and enjoyable read.
This was a fab read! So festive and funny. Great characters. I immediately warmed to this romantic book on the first page. It’s the first time I had heard of this author so didn’t know what to expect but I’ll be looking out for more reads in the future from her for sure. Thank you Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read. Don’t delay if you want a fun, fab Christmassy read.
Very cute, funny Christmas read! The plot was original, which is not always a guarantee for a holiday novel. The characters were likable though the chemistry between Eve and Joe fell a little flat. Their romance felt a little rushed but not enough to stop me from thoroughly enjoying the story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for this fun ARC!
