5 ⭐️ Festive fun. A fabulous light hearted rom-com. I loved the relationship between Eve & Joe and the fun they had delivering the Five Gold Rings after a mix up with a courier.

This book was just so much fun and pure festive perfection! I'm so glad I got to read it and enjoyed every minute! Highly recommend.

This book was so funny and so cute! It hit all the right marks for a holiday read and made me really happy and ready to celebrate the holiday season.

I could totally see this book as a film! There are so many giggle worthy moments, and romantic moments too, that it is dying out to be made onto a big or little screen. Actually I could probably see it as a stage production too - it's just so enjoyable.
It's such a lovely story, and the mission to deliver 5 gold rings over the run upto Christmas, leads to so many fabulous situations.
Oh and did I mention that Eve's co-Christmas good deeder - also works as a sexy elf, complete with his own jingle balls (I mean bells).
There is just fun, innuendo and even more around every page.
For Joe has fancied Eve for ages and just wants to make her feel better after she caught her boyfriend receiving a job in the shower (you can use your imagination as to what sort of a job). Eve goes a bit ballistic, in one of the best instant revenge type scenes I've read in a long while.
And there is even better revenge later in the book that had me greatly amused too, but I won't spoil it. So when her employers at the jewellers, ask them to team up to deliver these rings it is very fortunate timing.
Each chapter is split so that we get some from Eve's perspective and some from Joe's and I loved getting to know both characters.
This book is a lot of fun, and made me feel quite festive and also it's full of romantic gestures too - all over London.
Utterly enjoyable, provides hours of fun and amusement while you are reading it. I really should this author more often!
Thank you to Storm Publishing and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Personally, I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope. But, I have to say, this book was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the banter that was all through out the book. I couldn’t tell if I liked Eve or Joe more. I felt like I went back and forth on who was my favorite at the moment. The only thing that detracted from this story for me was the fact that Eve was constantly drunk in the beginning. That was hard to read. Maybe because I’m not a big drinker? But it just seemed to take away from who she was as a character. Some of the situations were a little too unbelievable too but I enjoyed reading them. No spice in the book and definitely more of a clean read. I’d recommend for a fun Christmas romcom though.

This book was AMAZING. I’ve read some of her novels before and find them so so refreshing. Always funny, characters very likeable (apart from the knobbish ex in this case) and you find yourself rooting for happiness for both Eve and Joe right from the start. I loved the quest, their jobs in the jewellers, the wacky twists and turns their quest took them on. All far fetched and hilarious and just brilliant. Really made for a heart warming and enjoyable read.

This was a fab read! So festive and funny. Great characters. I immediately warmed to this romantic book on the first page. It’s the first time I had heard of this author so didn’t know what to expect but I’ll be looking out for more reads in the future from her for sure. Thank you Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read. Don’t delay if you want a fun, fab Christmassy read.

Very cute, funny Christmas read! The plot was original, which is not always a guarantee for a holiday novel. The characters were likable though the chemistry between Eve and Joe fell a little flat. Their romance felt a little rushed but not enough to stop me from thoroughly enjoying the story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for this fun ARC!

Festive Romcom..
When Eve’s festive season gets off to an appalling start, she almost abandons all hope but soon finds herself going in an altogether different direction. Is she actually about to save Christmas? A frothy and fun filled festive romcom with a delicious cast of characters, a pacy plot heavily doused in humour and plenty of festive, cosy and heartwarming feels of the season.

thank you to netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
unfortunately for me, this one is a dnf. it took me weeks to read just the first few chapters alone. the premise of this book is so cute and the cover is equally lovely, but I just could not get into the story. the writing was pretty mediocre and juvenile, and the characters just felt flat with annoying dialogue.

I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own opinions.
Although I was not quite ready for a Christmas story I decided to give Five Gold Rings a try since it is snowing outside.
I enjoyed it, wasn't that Hallmark Christmas movie I was expecting, and that made me very happy.
A cute, fun Christmas Romance that is not too cheese, I approve.

I read this book in a day and I never looked back! The twist and the plot were pretty easy to identify but the different POV's kept me intrigued to see how everything was going to unfold. A couple of the characters were so unlikable that it made hard to feel bad or connect with them in any way. I do wish that the ending would've given a little more, I wanted to know how the characters dealt with the aftermath.
Overall I give this 5 out 5 because it really was a great book and I will definitely read more from this Author. I enjoyed the thrill of the plot and its twists.

This book is just amazing! It's the most festive feel good read and I was gutted to reach the end of it!
A lot of books have festive in the title and only briefly mention Christmas... But this was a full on festive rollercoaster!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The most delightful Christmas inspired story!
Eve finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her by catching him in the act.
In her home.
Two days before Christmas.
Eve finds comfort at the jewelry store where she works part time and the owners send her on a mission to deliver five very special rings. Her co-pilot on the mission is Joe, her co-worker who has long pined after Eve.
Hilarity and hijinks ensue in this sweet and festive romantic comedy. I enjoyed hearing the story told from both Eve and Joe’s point of view. They were both sweet characters, with Joe seeming almost too good to be true! They had fun banter and personality quirks that helped me to really root for both of them.
Five Gold Rings would make for a very fun Christmas movie. I found myself laughing out loud and also getting quite tearful. It hit all the right marks and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a fun, festive easy read with a charming love story.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

What would you do if it were a couple days before Christmas, you surprise your boyfriend by being home early, and find him in the shower with another woman? Would you feel heartbroken? Would you throw the Christmas gifts YOU purchased for HIS family out the window? Would you head to your work for some sympathy and support? If you said yes to any of those questions you are like the FMC of this book, Eve. After finding her cheating boyfriend, disposing of the gifts, and going to her work, she ends up on a multi-day journey of forced proximity with a coworker who has had a long time crush on her... all in the name of Christmas Love!
This book is perfect for lovers of a cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie, like myself! Five Gold Rings is SO precious and the perfect holiday Christmas season read!
While I am not the biggest fan of the cheating trope, I loved how forced proximity guided this story. This book was written in third person with dual POVs for Eve and her coworker Joe. I enjoyed how the author played with continuing the story in the alternating character's POV or retelling the previous scene from the other character's POV. This was a fun way to fill lots of plot points as I read!

Thank you to Storm publishing and the author for the arc, all opinions are my own.
A delightful cosy Christmas romance with a lot of fun humour.
Bailey introduces perfect characters that you instantly bond with and feel for as they navigate their own emotions at this time of year.
Joe and Eve are so amazing together and you can't help but want her to fall in love with Joe but having just caught her boyfriend with another girl, she doesn't recognize the signs from delectable and handsome Joe.
A perfect Christmas book to lift you up and make you believe that Christmas wishes do come true

Such a sweet and fun Christmas read, but also an emotional one. Story had me hooked from the first chapter. Highly recommend!!

DNF at 69%
I tried so hard to get into the book but when it takes me up to 2 weeks then I just know it's not for me. The story had potential though, the writing was not for me.

2 days before Christmas Eve walks in on her boyfriend in the shower with another woman. And so starts the emotional break down and rebuilding of Eve. With the help of Joe, her co-worker who moonlights at a "naked-ish butler" .
This was honestly a delight! I immediately fell for Eve, despite her world crumbling downs round her she tries to be the very best for people. Joe was an all around adorable man and the Caspers were just so heart-warming.
Following their hi-jinxs over 2 days in London it was hard not to fall in love with Eve & Joe.
The only negative I felt was, despite the fact many different Christmas scenes play out in front of us -Nativities, numerous Santas, the whole nutcracker suite - it just didn't feel christmassy.
So 4.5 stars rounded up.

I love Kristen Bailey!
She never fails to make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts!
This book is absolutely amazing and is definitely worth a Christmas read!
10 stars from me!!
