It was an ok book... A lot of back and forth between 3 characters... Not a lot of spice but some here and there.. it does end on a cliffhanger though..

I love love love a spicy read more than anything else. This book hand delivered the spice as well as an incredible plot. The characters were believable and relatable. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be recommending this for months to come.

M. Jay Granberry's 'Play' is a captivating love triangle story. Katrina Montgomery's complicated relationships with Ryan MacCrae, a successful CEO, and Langston Solomon, a star NBA player, dominate the plot. Granberry masterfully tackles these people' emotional and moral challenges, including inadequacy, familial expectations, and guilt. Katrina's passionate interactions with both guys are vividly detailed, creating suspense. The story sometimes hurries, causing character and relationship development gaps. However, the novel's cliffhanger leaves readers ready for the next Fast Break Series book.

I could not finish this book. I read 40% and had no desire to finish it. I'm bummed because I have not read any sports romances and had high hopes for this one.

Play is a steamy sports romance about a love triangle between a cheerleader Katrina Montgomery, an NBA player Langston Solomon and their boss Ryan McCrae.
At the start of the book we see Ryan and Katrina's situation ship, their back and forth. That ends when Ryan decides to move to Las Vegas after buying the NBA team there. He invites Katrina with him but she turns him down. After failing to make prima ballerina, Katrina decides to go after Ryan and changes the course of her career, she tries out for the cheerleading team that Ryan owns. There she meets Langston, who plays for Ryan's team.

I love how the love triangle is shown I honestly didn't know who to root for, both of the men loved Katrina truly. Am excited to read the other parts.

5/5 stars for sure.

I thought that this was a good opening book in a new trilogy.

The storyline was well planned out and the author has created characters that you wanted to get to know and it was a book that really gripped me and caught my attention

The book was about 2 men chasing the same woman and how that played out. One of my favourite films has a similar plot line so I was really pleased with this one.

It is a romantic and sexy read – it is 4 stars from me for this one – highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into this book. I chose to DNF it about 1/3 of the way in. I really like the concept but there were a few things that ended up giving me, basically the reading ick, so stopped.

I unfortunately really struggled to get into this book. I think I found it difficult to connect to the FMC which can often taint a book for me.

I didn’t finish but what I did read was well written and the language was accessible.

Finished this short book in less than a day. Very good pacing, steamy romance but I found the ending unsatisfactory with a cliffhanger. I would’ve preferred a cleaner end because I still would’ve wanted to read the others rather than feeling like I had to.
