The cover of this book is gorgeous! Unfortunately the writing style was definitely not for me and was distracting to the story.

I loooooove a good dark romance and this hit all the spots. I was drawn in in the very beginning and read it in one sitting.

The story quite magically caught me after the first few pages. The language is light and floating. I recommend it to those who like dark places and secrets hidden in the shadows... The light shines brighter afterwards.

This book unfortunately fell a bit short for me. There were a lot of repetitive aspects and too many POV's for my liking. I wanted so badly to love it!

This book was so good. I loved all the characters and the world building that takes place. This was such a great start to a series, which I can't wait to read. I loved it! It was so amazing!

While this book was good to read, it was not my favorite. The book almost reminded me of the way they speak in Alice in Wonderland a little bit. Some parts of the book were very dull and I struggled to keep my attention a bit. It wasn't a bad book by any means, the story was great but sadly, it didn't hold my interest enough to continue the series.
The story follows a girl with powers but doesn't realize that darkness is following her. She is tracked and watched by a crow (I think it was a crow, might have been a raven?) that is watching her recognize the moment that the darkness begins to overtake her. She was innocent. She cared for those around her. Until she meets a young man that she begins to hold feelings for and one night finds out that her best friend has known this man and didn't tell her. She also feels heartbroken because she feels she was led on.
Unbeknownst to her she begins to feel the darkness and it begins to overtake her. She wants revenge and she will do anything she can to get it.
Read it! It was a fast read and you may find that it is your taste even though it wasn't mine!

This book had a lot going for it. From the cover to the synopsis this should have been a hit with me. But sadly it was not what it was cracked up to be. This one starts out with this girl turning to the dark side, because her best friend and the love of her life betray her. But, unfortunately the love of her life part she knew him for like two dates. So unfortunately this one was insta-love to the point of this girl going dark because a guy she knew for like two seconds decided she wasn't for him. So unfortunately this one is a full on DNF for this reader.

In a world full of magic and witches we meet Isra, a compassionate witch whose only goal is to succeed at Wingdom Academy witch school. Then her friendship becomes strained because of Isra’s new love interest, Jonathan. Jonathan, the mysterious flirt, sets his sights on Isra to conquer her heart. All the while Astrid the raven is sent by Samuel to spy on Isra because of a prophecy that she will become a powerful dark witch. How will these characters’ lives end up playing out in the end?

“Her Dark Love” by Isra Sravenheart was not my cup of tea. To be honest I didn’t like anything in the book. I hated how many POV’s there were. I did not actually like any characters other than Astrid. The characters’ emotions felt very flat throughout the whole story. I hated that the main character has the same name as the author as well. 1 out of 5 stars.

It wasn’t that great of a book to me a lot of thing’s repeated like the color of her hair and also I thought it was kind of strange that the raven had feelings for her.
