A Match Made in Ireland offers a charming escape into the lush landscapes of Ireland, combining romance and self-discovery in a delightful narrative. Rory’s journey from a hectic American life to the slower, enchanting pace of Ireland provides a refreshing backdrop for her evolving relationship with Jaime. Their dynamic—marked by Rory's meticulous nature and Jaime's laid-back charm—creates engaging tension that keeps readers invested. The vivid descriptions of Ireland enhance the romantic atmosphere, making it feel like a character in its own right. However, while the story is heartwarming, some plot points may feel predictable for seasoned romance readers.

Thank you to E, D. Hackett, the publishers, and NetGalley for my advanced copy of this book!

As someone who studied abroad in college (in Ireland!) I was hooked on the idea of this book. It was so incredibly sweet to watch these characters live out every girls dreams. I do feel like the chemistry and dialogue between our two main characters could’ve been stronger, but it was precious nonetheless.

A Match Made in Ireland was an adorable book! I enjoyed the premise, plot lines, and characters. Its a sweet romance that makes you long for the fields of Ireland.

However, I am a romance reader at heart and dear ones, it's a closed door romance and you know how much I loathe those. Give me the spice, level 10 please.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. #NetGalley

Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers, and E. D. Hackett for allowing me to read and review this book.

This is a low steam adult contemporary romantic comedy that follows a 19-year-old American college student during her semester abroad to Ireland. We follow Rory as she discovers herself and this new country while making friends and memories during her semester abroad.

This was such a cute and fun romance to read. It includes tropes: opposites attract and close quarters living.

I enjoyed this book. I think anyone looking for a cute low spice romance to read this would be a great book to pick up.

I wasn’t a fan of this one. There was so chemistry between the MCs and the writing felt a bit elementary and flat. I did appreciate the FMC’s journey to finding her independence and building new friendships, but the execution just wasn’t the best. Not one of my favorite reads, unfortunately.

A Match Made in Ireland was a lighthearted, rich with Irish culture, closed door romance. I love anything that is set in Ireland. So I was curious about this book. I liked how the author painted a picture of the country with the descriptive writing.

This book was great, it felt fresh and not like anything else I've read lately. It kept me intrigued all the way through, I didn't want to put it down.

I really liked the premise of this book, but ultimately struggled to get through it. I couldn’t connect with either of the main characters and honestly found them both unlikable for many reasons. The best part of this book was the scenic views of the Irish countryside. I love to be able to escape to another country when I’m reading and I could imagine myself there through the vivid descriptions.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!

This one was a no for me. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into the story at any point and I really did try.

Fairly predictable rom com but it was still a good read that I enjoyed. And I loved the Ireland setting.

While I think the premise is cute, I did not like the execution or the writing style. Ultimately this book was not for me as I wasn’t able to connect with the characters or feel any chemistry between them.

I absolutely loved this book. I could feel myself in Ireland with them. And it was one of the main characters in the book too. So emotional and so very worth every word! A must read for any Rom-Com lover!

I love anything that is set in Ireland. So I was curious about this book. I liked how the author painted a picture of the country with the descriptive writing. The first encounter of the main characters were quite funny. At first, Rory wasn’t really likeable with her straight as a stick behaviour, but as the story progressed, she became so much more herself and more relaxed. I couldn’t not like Jaime with his charm from the beginning. I really liked how Rory and Jaime grew closer and closer which eventually resulted in them falling in love with each other. I was glad that their relationship not withered away like a flower because of the distance, so they got their happy ending. All in all, this was a comforting read for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of the book.

This was a sweet book that I enjoyed reading. I didn't see this being a quick page turner, but I did enjoy reading it. I would recommend for an easy read.

An enjoyable rom com. I loved the Irish setting and the studying abroad situation. The secondary characters were also a great addition to the story. I didn’t love the main characters but the overall story was still enjoyable.

It’s a quick enjoyable read that I would recommend you try if the blurb intrigues you.

I may be incredibly biased as my best friend is Irish so this was very personal to me, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much. As someone who has a very strong interest in studying abroad, this was such an enlightening book and made me THAT much more excited to give it a try. The romance was so sweet and pure, and topped with a beautifully told story, made this such a compelling and quick read. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store next.
