I've really enjoyed this series and book 3 was no exception. I'm always a sucker for a second chance story and I loved how Logan and Viv found each other again.
I especially loved how this book dealt with the issue of bullying in a couple of different instances. It's really important that people stand up for themselves and others being bullied.
But my favorite part of this book was how Viv's dreams came true. I always love it when that happens.
I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
Another Liasson win! Her stories make me feel like I'm there and I love it. I love the small town feelings and Blossom Glen might be my fav. I loved the author feeling and the moody MMC. Really enjoyable!
This was my first time reading a book by Miranda Liasson and I was very pleased surprised how much I liked it. I was rooting for Viv right from the start and felt her angst at her terrible job. I enjoyed both the plot of a second chance romance but also redemption of Viv herself. I am going to be reading the other books in this series for sure
Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled for the advance copy of this book.
I read this book in a 24 hour span and loved it! The story follows Viv and Logan, childhood best friends whose complicated friendship reunites 12 years later. I love how the story unfolds and you see how Viv and Logan navigate their estranged friendship as adults. This was a light read with a friends to lovers trope and happy ever after. I plan to go back and read Miranda’s first two books in the the Blossom Glen series.
Thank you NetGalley and entangled publishing for the opportunity to receive an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely LOVE this series. This is the 3rd book in The Blossom Glen Series. This book is a slow burn, second chance romance, filled with emotion, memories good and bad, friends and family, and most of all two people finally figuring out that a relationship built on friendship which is the best thing ever. If you want a sweet small town romance then I HIGHLY recommend this book!!
Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC, Entangled: Amara for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.
Get you a man who, only hoping you would come but with no guarantee, buys all gluten-free groceries for you.
Viv and Logan were childhood best friends, and as it happens, feelings grew as teens. Viv was determined to leave their small town and her dreams were big, so as scared in love 18 year olds do, she pushed Logan aside and went after her dreams in Paris. Both were left heartbroken and their friendship was lost.
Twelve years later, Viv is back in her small-town and those 18 year old dreams didn't come true. Logan returns to town a successful author and even though so many years have passed, both their feelings return. But Viv hasn't let go of those dreams and her determination to be a success, and Logan is planning to stay in Blossom Glen. They have to figure out how they can be together while letting go of old hurt, achieving their dreams, and being honest with each other.
I understood Viv's guilt and feeling she needed to be successful to repay her family. I was glad to see how much her family loved her, and how she was able to help Logan's sister.
I enjoyed seeing how much they grew and brought out the best in each other. They were sooo into each other so quickly as well.
Thank you to netgalley and Entangled publishing for an arc in exchange for an honest review!

The Sweetheart Crush is a great romantic story. One knows how it is going to end up but how it gets to the end is fun! The characters are well defined; it is easy to picture both Vic and Logan. The scene with everyone having pink hair is a delight. A warm, cozy beach read of a book.
This is a cute, fun and easy read. I've read other books by Miranda Liasson so I knew I'd enjoy this one as well. It's always nice to return to a family and hear more about them.
In this third book in the Glen Blossom series, we learn more about Viv Montgomery, the youngest sister of the Montgomery Sisters. It's been a while since I'd read book two so I kind of felt lost for a bit. I had no idea what happened to Viv OR if she was really mentioned in book two and I feel like it took a minute for Miranda Liasson to remind me. Each book in this series is said to be a stand alone but I still felt like I was missing something for quite a while.
Viv, a photographer, has returned to Glen Blossom to lick her wounds and repay her family for helping her get to France (to study) and she of course encounters her old best friend Logan Matthews who is now a successful author and no longer the scrawny kid she knew.
I enjoyed the story, it was a page turner but again, I felt lost like I'd forgotten something but in reality I think the author just hadn't shared that info yet. I still wanted to see how the story turned out and was happy with the read. Miranda Liasson is one of my favorites now.
Thank you to the author Miranda Liasson, publishers and tour organizers Entangled/Amara, and also to NetGalley for an advance digital copy of THE SWEETHEART CRUSH. All views are mine.
Three (or more) things I loved:
1. I adore the salon scene! I too have a snazzy sister in pink hair, life is just better if you have one of those! I just connect with these characters so much.
2. I love that the fmc is a photographer. It is really hard for those guys to make it as artists. Also, it's an original character trait. Every story feels like it has a writer or a baker, but I don't think I've seen a photographer. I also really love the trajectory of this trait's development. Nice touch!
3. Whoa, nice fight!
4. It is amazing how often and how clearly these characters express their love for each other. There's nothing quite as powerful and tingle inducing as reading those three little words.
Three (or less) things I didn't love:
This section isn't only for criticisms. It's merely for items that I felt something for other than "love" or some interpretation thereof.
1. The themes are very common. Love and be yourself for yourself. Express your feelings. Take risks or you risk losing out. These themes work in stories, true, but they are overused. This is a good book and with the photography and writer and stylist characters, all that creativity, the opportunity for something fresher was within reach.

Viv Montgomery left Blossom Glen and everyone in it behind to pursue her photography dreams in the big city. It's twelve years later and she feels like she has nothing to show for it. She is back home working at the towns Christmas Store because she is broke and needs to figure out what her next steps will be. She runs into the best friend she left behind all those years ago and he has changed not only in personality but in looks as well. When he offers her a job she takes it happy to not be working at the Christmas Store. As their friendship starts to get back to where it was things start to turn toward romance. Will the two once best friends remain just that friends or will the heat slowly building between the two ignite and turn things into a relationship. Follow along and see just where these two end up, will it stay friendship or will romance ensue.
Miranda Liasson has taken two of my favorite tropes - second chance romance and friends to lovers - and molded them into a charming, heart-tugging journey to love for youngest Montgomery sister, Vivienne and her former best friend, Logan.
It's hard to say which of the books in this trilogy I've enjoyed the most. Each brings its own special flavor to the page but what they all have in common is the strength, support, and love of family. In this one, it's both families - Viv's and Logan's - who play roles in the evolution of both characters as well as their romantic relationship.
Another facet of their story that I enjoyed is the friendship upon which their love is built. Yes, they've been estranged for twelve years but that foundation that was carefully built from childhood through high school still exists, lending critical support to the deepening feelings between them. There may be cracks here and there but love, growth, and communication go a long way in repairing them and moving their relationship forward.
The sense of community is strong in all three books with the author evoking a spirit that is easily relatable, whether you've lived in a small Midwest town or not. Secondary characters bring additional texture, conflict, humor, and emotion to the page, blending seamlessly with Viv's and Logan's journey without detracting from it.
If you're looking for a low-steam contemporary romance with plenty of feel-good charm and emotional depth, I recommend giving The Sweetheart Crush a go. It stands well on its own (Logan isn't introduced until this book). It's my opinion that you'll have a greater appreciation for the nuances of the Montgomery family dynamics as well as the growth of the Montgomery women and their partners if you read the three Blossom Glen books in order, however, wherever you choose to begin you'll find a heartwarming journey worth taking. The Blossom Glen books, in order, are: The Sweetheart Deal, The Sweetheart Fix, and The Sweetheart Crush. All three are available for purchase or to download from Kindle Unlimited if you're a subscriber. I loved them all.

ARC received from publisher via NetGalley. Fair and unbiased review.
I liked Viv I feel like with her it was what you see is what you get, but she struggled with some insecurities that she kept hidden from those close to her, she also didn't let them to stop her from following through helping those she loved. she was the little, big sister everyone wanted in there life. Logan was someone who I really liked from the beginning, however that did not last for me. The was a part in the book I so wanted to yell at him, however how it played out and who called him out at me laughing so hard and then he got back on my good side again. I love the relationship with the sisters I loved how close they are and how they always had each others back. I loved catching up with the other sisters as well. The author makes the characters so fun and relatable and I would say the book overall is worth the read.
The Sweetheart Crush is a small town cozy romance romance between childhood best friends who had a falling out and went a decade without speaking only to be thrown back together by literally the entire town. Viv is a photographer who went abroad to pursue her dream after what had happened between her and Logan. Logan became a super famous thriller author which had been his lifelong dream. This book has some suspense after you realize Logan was hiding a major secret from Viv. However, the love between the main characters as well as the love from both of their families, this book is so sweet and 100% worth the read. It was a super quick and easy read and the main conflict happened towards the end of the book, but what happened in the final pages after the conflict was a lot of self reflection on both of their parts and I truly loved watching these characters grow!
The Sweetheart Crush by Miranda Liasson is the third book in the series called Blossom Glen. The book is a wonderful small town love story and a second chance love book. The book focuses on Viv and Logan. They were best friends all the way until the end of HS, when a single moment changed their mind. Viv left without a word and any communication for years.
Logan Matthews has come back to his hometown as a famous author to see family. One of the first people he sees is Viv. Her dreams crashed forcing her back to her hometown where she is madly saving up money to leave again. She is working hard at the local Christmas Tree shop and taking pictures as the opportunity happens.
Logan needs a publicist and Viv is the one to do the job for him. The fact that they both really still have serious chemistry with each other, seems to be something they cannot keep ignoring. A short term deal or will this turn into the real thing…
I have enjoyed this series. The author really has the feel for a small town and how they work. She also is able to make her characters interesting and a bit quirky to make the novel interesting. The Sweetheart Crush by Miranda Liasson was a great read.
I fell in love with the characters and the small town. Viv came back to town after a long time
Her best friend is Logan who is now a well known author. She is mad at him and they never got over each other and something is smoldering there.
The third book in this series, the story of Viv and Logan. Now they are both in their home town is it their chance at being together?
After her dreams of becoming a professional photographer didn’t have the results Viv would have liked she returned to her hometown as she works toward a career in PR. She never expected that working at a job she needed but didn’t want would bring her childhood friend back into her life and that he was no longer the awkward boy she remembered but a man she is attracted to.
Logan and Viv were friends until one embarrassing moment created a distance between them. He has returned to his hometown as a suave and successful author and when he reunites with Viv, he decides to hire her to help him with the publicity. He had been hurt by her in the past so he intended to keep their relationship strictly professional but that is easier said than done.
This is a heartwarming story about love, family and new beginnings. Viv is at a crossroads at her life and uncertain what the future holds but being with Logan just feels right however he has a secret that could destroy the relationship they have been building.
This is the third installment in the series. Each book can be read as a standalone.
The Sweetheart Crush is a closed door romance.
The setting is Blossom Glen and what a sweet town it is! Full of loveable and likeable characters.
A cozy, sweet contemporary romance to relax with.
I love the book cover!
