Four people who are being stalked are in a support group.
One other member has been murdered and they are now in fear of being the next victim.
This is a chilling story about stalkers and the people they terrorise.
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.

An unlikely group come together with only one thing in common- they're all being stalked. By friends, ex's and others, the group have created a stalking support group and communicate via Whatsapp. When one of their members is murdered by their killer they receive a warning that someone else is next. This book is so gripping and unpredictable, I sped through it in a couple of days as I usually do with CL Taylor's books, loved it.

I read this book in less than 48 hours and the writing style and concept makes this a five star book for me. Everyone is in for a treat in March when this book is released.

The chapters in this book are each character and I found myself going oh I need to know more about them and then not being able to put the book down. I also love the WhatsApp messages as they made this book come to life. I am now terrified of having a stalker as the lengths they had to go to for survival are maddening. No surprise the police didn’t play a big role in this book - as I can imagine it’s near enough impossible to prove you have a stalker. The way this is written makes the story flow so well and as usual CL Taylor has made this seem so realistic you feel as though you are part of the storyline and it’s happening to you.

Four friends (through their connection of having a stalker) meet at another stalked friend’s funeral who was murdered by her stalked. In those first few chapters I should have seen the murder coming from the blurb but my jaw hit the floor and I was sad as I like Natalie as a character.

The character development in this book is great as you see them growing and also leaning on each other more and starting to trust other humans after their awful experiences.

Alex is an actress and is stalked by an anonymous fan who sends her photos when she’s out and about and very abusive text messages. Fame doesn’t seem like a good idea if this is the level of stalking you have to put up with.

Lucy is stalked by her ex-boyfriend Marcus and they have an interesting history…

River says he’s stalked by his ex-girlfriend Vanessa but she also claims he was controlling and she’s protecting future girlfriends from the pain she suffered.

Finally, Bridget is stalked by her ex-colleague Charlotte who she worked in the flower shop with.

The way these four have had to change phones, houses and even jobs is terrifying and brings this creepy story to life even more. Also the authors note at the end of the book had me shocked!

A compelling novel that takes the disturbing theme of stalking and constructs a complex plot with several major twists. It starts with a death and sees four people come together with a common bond - all have been stalked. But when they are told one of them will die in ten days time, the situation rises to a new level.

This is an involved tale, with four main characters, all of whom have complex back stories. Their struggles are woven together compellingly, and the use of multiple points of view is used skillfully to allow the reader to get to know the characters. DIffering impressions of each other are formed and we are left wondering whether all are telling the truth to the group ....

Every Move You Make (love The Police reference) isn't always an easy read but it is very engaging and fast paced. Overall, an excellent read with an explosive ending.

Engaging and entertaining, as expected. A recommended purhchase for collections where crime and thrillers are popular.

Ooh this gave me actual chills! So perfectly written and captivating. It's something anyone can relate to and that tension that's built with the unknown was perfectly plotted out. It felt like such an original storyline and not like the same story I've rwsd a dozen times already. The writing was so engaging that it was impossible not to be completely invested in the characters and what was going on. Absolutely amazing book!

I really really really loved this book! Thank you Netgalley.

It's been a while since I absolutely devoured a thriller, but this one I just could NOT PUT DOWN. IT had absolutely everything that I wanted. It was creepy, it left you guessing, and most importantly It got me excited to continue reading.

I didn't hate the characters, which is totally unusual for me whilst reading a thriller. I loved how it flipped through Point of Views. I love that it made you doubt everyone and all of their motives, and I really loved how it unfolded and handed you all of the information in pieces as well as wrapping up beautifully.

I think this is my favourite C L Taylor book!

After the death of their friend, Alex, Lucy, Bridget and River decide to take matters into their own hands. All of them have their own personal stalker of which finding out Natalie died at the hands of hers, they have had enough of being the victims.

I’ve read some stories to do with stalking but never as intense as this one is. Having more than one character being stalked, it takes it to a whole new level. The fear and the emotions that the characters are going through, you feel every ounce of it. Sadly you get to see how hard it is for victims of stalking to get help from the police. Having to note every instance down which can take time to build up a good enough case for the police to act. In some cases like poor Natalie, it’s a little too late so I couldn’t blame the characters for wanting to put an end to it themselves.

So many times my heart was in my mouth throughout this book. Not only is there the threat hanging over the friends that one of them is going to die in a matter of days but you also have the added danger of never knowing when their stalkers would make an appearance. The author shows us through the different characters the affect that stalking has on the victims. How work and relationships can also suffer. It was actually quite heartbreaking to read.

Every Move You Make is an incredibly powerful, tense and mind blowing read. Then there are the twists! And boy are they good, totally unexpected that will have you going back and re-reading to make sure you read them right. The topic of stalking is hard-hitting and incredibly scary. How one person can consume another’s life that they live daily in fear. This is going to be the one everyone is talking about in 2024. Brilliant!

I love this author and was delighted to be approved to read her latest book.

A group of 5 strangers, brought together by their experiences of being stalked. They only know each other in the digital world but use it as a way to help, support and check on each other. But when the book begins with Natalie’s violent death at the hands of her ex, the remaining 4 are brought together face to face at her funeral. And just when things are looking bleak enough, they are handed a wreath from a stranger. A wreath with a date set 10 days in the future. A warning. One of the, has only 10 days left to live.

I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and their stories. The storyline kept me guessing I felt the tension increasing as we neared the conclusion. One to be read with the lights on.

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read and review.

Exhausting. 🥺
Four people with one thing in common: they are all being stalked. Their lives are filled with daily terror. Always watching. Always waiting. And never knowing what – or who – is hiding in the shadows.
But this group of four used to be five, until the terrible day their friend Nat was followed home by her stalker…
Coming together for Nat’s funeral, they are handed a wreath saying RIP. However, this isn’t a wreath in memory of Nat – it’s for them, with a card dated in ten days’ time.
It’s a clear message: in ten days, one of them will die. And the only way to stop the killer is to get closer than they ever dared to their stalkers. The very people who want them dead…
It wasn't for me. The storyline didn't connect with me.
Thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for giving me an advance copy.

A really tense psychological thriller. I actually found it a bit dark and depressing, but I think that's because I felt the helplessness of the people being stalked. Which shows how well written it was that I started to feel the character's emotions. I was really drawn in.

A group of people being stalked form their own self help group via Whats App, the countdown is on as they've had a warning one of them will die within the next few days.... Can they figure out who and save them in time?

I've always been a huge fan of this author. I didn't love The Guilty Couple, but this one was absolutely back on form for me.

It's a very unique premise - I don't think I've read anything quite like it before, which always wins points with me in such a crowded genre! The descriptions of stalking were scarily realistic, so I wasn't surprised to read that the author has personal experience.

I adore C L Taylor's writing style, her descriptions are fantastic and she manages to make dialogue sound realistic, which not many authors can do! All the characters were well written and felt like real, well-rounded people who I could picture easily.

I did find the plot a little slow to get going, but from about a third of the way in I was hooked and really felt immersed in the story. I had some of the twists worked out, but it didn't all quite fit together, and the final twist was a surprise!

I would definitely recommend this book, I really enjoyed reading it.

Everything this author writes is brilliant. This one is crazy about stalkers, and to read the author had one of her own brings this book alive even more. So many twists that makes you devour yourself into the story. Excellent characters and expertly written. Just a fantastic book

Thanks to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for an early release of this book.

This book was excellent! I love this author anyway but I think this is her best yet. The characters, the plot, the tension will all keep you totally engrossed. I couldn't put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed all the characters - all different, all flawed, all believable. There are a few red herrings where you're not sure what to believe and ultimately all falls into place. It could have finished a chapter or two earlier but I'm so glad it didn't - the ending was a real gift to the reader.

A must-read!

Ever since I read C. L. Taylor's book Her Last Holiday, I've been looking for the chance to read something by this author again. So when I saw this book I pounced on the opportunity with no further delay.

The story begins with an unusual premise, which is what you would expect from this writer, frankly. She specialises in taking something familiar and making something quite novel (pun intended) out of it.

When four friends meet up at the funeral of the fifth, Nat, who has been murdered by a stalker, their already grim state of mind is considerably exacerbated by the discovery that a wreath they find contains a special message for them.

It indicates that one of the remaining friends will be dead within 10 days. Because they are all being stalked.

So now the question is, what can they do in order to save themselves? They must find a way to transform the hunter into the prey. Because if it takes a thief to catch a thief, then surely it will take some stalking to capture a stalker...

This is a gripping story told with Taylor's characteristic skill. The writing is suspenseful and easy to read, and the concept is innovative. Definitely worth checking out.

Another clever, socially relevant and twisty psychological thriller from Cally Taylor - very addictive I read this in one sitting.

A support group of stalking victims who decide enough is enough, a tense and intelligent plot, a great sense of unpredictability and some intriguing characters make this a right old page turner full of truths about things victims go through and how ineffectual the legal system is in this regard.

Entertaining anc realistic. Recommended
