This is the first book i have read in this series and I think it is number 9, i wasn't lost it was quite good at brinign the back story in, i liked the characters and may go back and see how it all started
A Fairly cheesy vampire romance but it was still a good and quick read. Though I'm not sure I would read anything else by this author.
Loved reading the engaging and captivating paranormal story. As Raina Callahan’s magic increases, she discovers a vampire watching her. Valentin St. Scarasse, Lord Vampire of New Orleans, is asked to keep an eye on Raina, a witch he is already interested in. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read love story. Can't wait to read the next story in the series.
I didn’t read the other books leading up to this one, so there was a good bit of catching up to do, but it wasn’t impossible. Though it certainly is advisable to start at the beginning of the series. There are many characters and backstories to correlate. I did enjoy the relationship created between Raina and Valentin. Raina isn’t a push-over or whiny and Valentin is a good strong male lead as well. They have a good dance back and forth throughout their romantic journey. There are many different types of magic and magical beings involved in this story, which keeps things very interesting. Certainly there is a lot to occur yet in the series!
Totally spellbinding. A little slow at the beginning but soon was lost to the plight of Val trying to woo a modern woman who knew what she wanted
Bewitching the Vampire is my first ARC, I was a little intimidated in the beginning trying to remember the names of the characters and locations.
That all changed as soon as Valentin and Raina were introduced! I can't begin to tell you the hold that these two characters had on me!
Brooklyn Ann did such a great job building up the sexual tension between them,
I stayed up until 2am reading because i just couldn't put the book down. I loved the way she used descriptive writing to make me feel like i was really in New Orleans and the beautiful world of Aisthanesthai.
This book has action, romance, comedy... everything you want in a good book.
There are witches, vampires and even some new creatures that I'm hoping we learn more about in the next book.
I really enjoyed reading Bewitching the Vampire, I'm looking forward to reading more from this author
