I was approved for this book late and thus haven’t gotten a chance to read. When I do, I will post the review.
This was a great self help guidebook with real world examples and easy to understand concepts. Anyone looking to improve connections between family, friends, coworkers and mangers would benefit from reading this book Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this ebook.
In a world where we live in our screens I think this book is really needed. I think why we are so stressed and depressed is because we are spending our lives looking at a screen versus talking to each other and truly getting to know one another, I really like the pointers given in this book.
I think putting your best foot forward and always looking ahead not behind is such an important trait for any human being to have. Now, this is easier said than done, but something that we can all work on. Working and redefining ourselves is the epitome of being human. I think that sometimes we become so caught up on the hype and trying to please others before we please ourselves is so detrimental.
This author was able to bring out those lessons that we need to hear and learn in order to become our best selves!
Wow! This book is really good. It's easy to read, flows perfectly and gives so much detailed information on things like trust, triggers and more. A lot of the techniques can even help with parent and child relationships. Highly recommend this book.
This book is great, and given that I had to read it and share my review before it was archived, I went through the chapters and read the ones that I felt drawn to and needed more insights on, and was especially taken in by navigating tricky conversations- and what happens when emotions and emotional triggers are involved, and how to work through those. What I did find interesting are the end of chapter takeaways, because they helped me review and formulate action steps to take towards working on making meaningful connections.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.
This is one book I'd love to keep in my home library.
The Connection Playbook is more than a book; it's a transformative journey. It delves deep into the intricate world of human relationships. Want to navigate tricky discussions with grace? This book's got you covered. The art of asking powerful questions? It's in here. What stood out to me was its unique approach to recognizing emotional triggers and shedding blame. The end-of-chapter exercises? Enlightening and immediately actionable. If you're aiming to truly understand and connect with others, this is a must-read. It's practical, insightful, and honestly, a game-changer.
