Thank you Kaci Bolls, Nathan Meckel, and NetGalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review! My five year old loved this book! The illustrations were adorable and as a parent I loved the message behind the book. Dare to Be Me is a great book to read to your little ones!
Well-narrated lyrical story that really needs the accompanying images for full impact. This would be wonderful as an enhanced ebook and I wish I could have experienced it that way.
I listened with my daughter and she immediately wanted to restart when it was over!! So cute and catchy!!!
Dare To Be Me written by Kaci Bolls and Nathan Meckel and illustrated by Ana Martín Larrañaga is such a great kids book! The song is catchy and has a great message to teach kiddos to be themselves all the time. I am a psychiatric social worker at an elementary school and will be purchasing this book to read to the kiddos I work with to remind them that it is okay to be themselves because being them is awesome!
Omg so first of all the story itself is just great in its message because we all just want to be loved for who we are but sometimes the world beats us down and we try to conform. Teaching children early that it is not a bad thing to be themselves is so important. Second of all this audio of it was amazing and so engaging. My four yr old son listened to it all the way through even though there were no pictures!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this children’s audio book ARC opportunity!
This is a delightful book- rhythmic, catchy, inspiring, set up like a musical, with background music and sound effects.
This book would be wonderful for a parent of a young child to share with their child or a preschool or kindergarten teacher to play to their classroom.
Dare to be me really illustrates the power, beauty, and fun of being yourself. It would be great for children’s self esteem and I believe they’d like the catchy tune!
Dare to Be Me, the audio version, is a super catchy rhyming song that encourages kids to celebrate being themselves. We are all different and unique, and we make the world a better place by being true to ourselves. Fun and uplifting!
Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review the advanced audio copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest review on the book!
