Wolf’s Keep
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wolf’s Keep
K. E. Turner
“Never run from me,” he said, his breath warm across her lips…..
“I will always catch you.”
This book deserves 10 stars honestly! I read this entirely in one night.
It’s like outlander meets werewolves! An archeologist finds herself back in time face to face with who she’s been studying/obsessed with in the present.
SO FLIPPING GOOD!
🐺Get ready to travel back to August in the year of 999, to the wild countryside of France (Frankia). Whatever you do, if you find a very old amulet with writing on it from a forgotten language - Don’t pull out your cellphone and translate the inscription and definitely don’t accidentally bleed on the amulet while speaking the inscription. You may not have a sexy chevalier - werewolf waiting to save you. 🐺🏰⚜️⚔️
This is book one in The Wolves of Langeais series written by author K.E. Turner and I have to admit that I enjoyed reading this story and was upset that it ended! I am sure there will be more of this series as there is a lot of unanswered questions and a lot of story left to be told. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next book.
I recommend this book to those who enjoy time traveling romance and those who like paranormal romance.

Quick Summary: An altered time, supernatural, his-fic romance
My Review: Wolf's Keep by K.E. Turner is book 1 in The Wolves of Langeais series.
About the Book: Erin Richardson is an archaeologist, and she is utterly intrigued with the life and history of Gaharet d' Louncrais. When a special amulet triggers a temporal shift, she is suddenly teleported across time and into his keeping. Of course, she is dumbfounded. The only thing she knows is that they share an intense connection and a desire to know the truth behind what is to be for them.
My Final Say: This story was so very interesting. The more I read, the more I was pulled in. What got me from jump was the air of mystery surrounding the amulet and its powers, as well as the journey through time. What kept me glued to the pages was the immediate and ongoing chemistry between the two leads. What compelled me to continue reading was the character play and forces at work. This was a fantastic start to a new series, and I am here for it.

Appreciation is extended to the author, to the publisher (Totally Bound Publishing), and to NetGalley, who provided access to this title in exchange for an honest review. The words I have shared are my own.
I decided to scope out of my comfort zone and read a book with paranormal aspects. I must say that I enjoyed Turner's book more than I thought I would. Gaharet and Erin's character development was interesting; there were certain times that I felt too much was said (which I inferred that both characters liked to get to the point), but that did not stop me from finding out where they would land up.
My curiosity has peaked, and I want to read the next instalment.
What a great read! I absolutely loved every minute of it. Medieval anything really kickstarts my heart and this book was no exception. It had me hooked right from the start and I loved every moment of it. From the story, to the romance, to the shifters, this book was definitely written well!
It's very Outlander-like but definitely had new premises to the whole time travel thing that made this really enjoyable to read.
Can't wait to read more from this author!
Thank you NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Totally Bound Publishing for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I usually don't read time travel books as they bug me, but I could not resist this one! I am an archaeologist so love to read what others think we do. I just can't stop myself. Anyway this was a very enjoyable read. A bit convoluted and I think that Gaharet is a rarity of his time. I liked Erin, she is a strong personality. This is not a cliffhanger, but I found there was no real resolution either. This book kept me interested and I liked the main characters. I also liked the bit of paranormal. 4 solid stars
My first 4 star review of October!
This book has it all; time travel, mystery, paranormal aspects, slow burn to die for romance.. What more could you want?
This book has a strong heroine; Erin who travels back in time and meets Gaharet a devilishly handsome alpha. The story is incredibly immersive and I got really pulled in throughout the whole of the book, it does end quite abruptly but I suspect that is a part of the pull in order to get readers to read the second book (I hope there will be a second book!).
Very well done, I really enjoyed it and will definitely be looking forward to reading works by K.E Turner again!
I love time travel but this story also has the paranormal added to it, which makes for great reading. An archeologist, Erin transports to medieval times and meets Gaharet by way of an amulet. The story is well written and fast paced but it appears there is more to the story coming in the next book. I highly recommend reading this story.
I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley and are voluntarily leaving a review.
four solid stars! I would have given more if it didn't end so abruptly, I just would have liked a little more info on Erin and Gaharet. Which by the way I adored them. Even when Erin was driving me a little crazy about getting back to her time. Something I really really loved was how accepting she turned out to be instead of the fear the man I'm in love with stuff. Really enjoyed how well versed she was with history. Also liked how she deferred to him on certain matters even when she likely had a sassy retort stuck in her throat. I would have enjoyed a smidgeon more spice, BUT what we got was amazing. the build up was great! I'd love to read more and seriously enjoyed it. Plot was nice too, really enjoyed the power dynamics.
