This was a quick and hot read with tropes that TROPED and to be honest I was so completely here for it. A powerful story contained in a small package!

Overall a pleasant read. The main vibe of the book was quite like a paranormal romance sit-com, my mind kept playing a laugh track in the background for quite a few scenes.

Unleashing Chaos by Crystal J. Johnson and Felicity Vaughn was such a delightful surprise! From the cover, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an incredibly fun paranormal romance rom-com. The grumpy-sunshine trope was spot-on, and while Jace, the grumpy character, craves perfect order in his life, in walks a literal demon princess to shake things up. The dynamic between them is hilarious, with lots of great banter that kept me laughing.

What I really appreciated was how the book handled the love triangle. While there's a third character that forms a bit of a triangle dynamic, it’s not the typical, overly dramatic trope you might expect. So, if you're not a fan of love triangles, don’t let that deter you from reading—it doesn’t take over the story.

The plot was engaging, the writing flowed effortlessly, and the characters were so easy to root for. Overall, it was a fun, light-hearted read with a perfect mix of humor, romance, and paranormal elements. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique twist on the grumpy-sunshine trope with some chaos thrown in!

This book was so good, loved the characters and their writing style. Not my first book I read by this duo and it will certainly not be the last.

I found the premise of this book to be quite clever—a demon princess searching for an eternal human partner. Desi has just 90 days to find her true love, and the story begins with her desperately needing housing. She and a character named Cannon end up renting rooms from Jace. Together with the help of Jace, Cannon, and a neighbor, Desi navigates the human dating scene. Her naivety about human customs made me laugh more than a few times.

The book starts off light-hearted and funny, which I really enjoyed. However, once the romance heated up and the spice factor kicked in, the story started to lose its charm for me. Despite that, I still rooted for the characters and appreciated the happily-ever-after ending. It was a fun read overall, just a bit of a shift in tone for me as it progressed.

An interesting and cute read. Neat concept of the realms and the rules on ruling them. A love story at heart with a little chaos along the way. Overall cute read.

I LOVED this book. From the plus sized rep to the mental health rep this book had it all and was well written. I would absolutely read this one again and again.

The romance and chemistry was so sweet, adorable and I loved how our MMC swooned over the queen that is the FMC. The spicy scenes were well written and with so much feeling you could feel it yourself. I may have cried that multiple points.

This has to be in my top 5 reads for this year.

This book was incredible! From the mental health rep to the story, the character development, the spice. This book is one of my top 5 reads of 2024 and I could not put it down. I sobbed, I giggled, I blushed, I felt so many emotions in the time I read this book I wish I could read it again for the very first time

I really enjoyed the plot of this book but it was hard to connect with the FMC. It was a fun read though! I definitely giggled a few times while reading it.

I haven’t read any books written by either of these authors, but it was a privilege to be chosen as an arc reader for this book. I don’t think I am the target audience for this book, while reading the synopsis for it, I thought I would be. I just couldn’t get myself to be immersed in this book. Sad to say that I had to DNF this book, I hope I can go back in the future and read this again, and hopefully update my rating/review.

Was not a huge fan of this book. It started off good but by half way through I was underwhelmed.... I ended up not finishing the book ending at 78%

This was a first from this author duo and I had a fun time! There may have been one scene that I was not so patiently waiting for and it delivered!

This was such a fun read! Desi is such a relatable character when it comes to being an awkward person, anxieties, and life pressure. I really appreciated accurate anxiety representation in Jace’s character as well. The banter between the roommates, friendship, and chemistry was INCREDIBLE. I was laughing out loud and awing through the whole book. I inhaled this in a couple of days. I wish we could see more about Cannon’s next moves, but the ending was truly great.

I don't want to give anything away but in will say hold on to someone this book will have you never wanting it to end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These authors make beautifully spicy books when they're collaborating and are widely loved in the Dark Romance genre for their morally black smut. So this was an unexpected turn, and I had to jump on it.

This was a lighter version of their writing and very enjoyable in more of the romantic sense. The push and pull between Jace and Desi had my mind stressed and my heart aching.

Jace was falling and denying himself constantly, but the man knew how to love all along.... *swoon*
