This was a fun one. The world created by the authors was super interesting, with demons/angels and the fact that most of the story was set in the human world made it quite easy to navigate.

Right from the start, the story pulled me in. The characters were nice to follow and I enjoyed the humor and vibe of it all. Our main characters developed quite a nice friendship and it was nice how they cared about one another. There was a bit of a love triangle but considering the strong friendships it somehow felt different and didn't put me off as it sometimes does when I don't know who to root for.

Discovering Desi's world was quite interesting and getting to see how life is different from the human world and all. I'd say that for the major part, this book felt more of a contemporary read (not in a bad way, but just because it all looks like a normal life minus the Jedi way of moving things, haha) so getting into a different world really made for a different vibe suddenly and got me intrigued once again.

I did have a bit of trouble wrapping my mind around our character's age. They were way younger in my head and I honestly cannot imagine it any other way with how they were acting and all... but that did not affect my reading experience, it was more of an after thought. The push and pull between Desi and Jace was a bit frustrating to go through, it sometimes felt like things were going backwards, which made this book feel way too long in my opinion. And in the end, we did not really get to see Jace's evolution clearly, like he just clicked a switch and suddenly all fears were gone and he was okay with everything. I needed more than that for this to be believable.

Overall, it was an entertaining read, I liked all the characters, just didn't fell hard for any and that can be a let down for me. I was interested enough to always continue reading but when I stopped I didn't feel the urge to get back to this one, if it makes sense. Might be a mood thing or it just was too long for me, I can't explain, because at first I was really into it. I did like the twists at the end even though it was a bit predictable it felt good that something a bit more dramatic was happening.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

If you're into fantasy with a touch of romance, "Infernis" might be right up your alley. Set in modern-day Denver, Desi, a demon from Infernis, has 90 days to find her eternal partner before becoming queen of Sloth. Living with two handsome roommates, Cannon and Jace, Desi navigates online dating and sparks fly with Jace despite his reservations from past heartbreak. The story blends humor, fake dating, and forced proximity into a satisfying romantasy with a twisty ending. Great for fans of engaging romance and enjoyable tropes!

I loved this story. I was so captivated that I did not want to put it down! loved the authors' take on the afterlife it was great. Absolutely adored the characters and plot. But this quote just got me in feelings “But in the eye of her storm, there is a sweet moment of calm. She is the most beautiful chaos"

I don't have enough words to say how much I love this book but I can say that I woke in the middle of the night, I started reading and I couldn't stop until I finally finished it.. I didn't knew what to expect to be honest but this book was a breath of fresh air.. It was funny, sexy, cozy and intense at the same time.. I loved Desi and Jace and the way their relationship was built

𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢 is a demon princess who is feisty and creates chaos AND has 90 days to find a husband otherwise her father will step in and set her up with someone. She goes to the human world to find a husband and in the mean time she needs a place to stay. She found this house that is gorgeous and perfect and the owner is renting a room and when she shows up to meet the owner that's where we meet 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐞.

𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐞 is the opposite of Desi. He likes things a certain way and loves to be in control (cue the drool) and he suffers from panic attacks (which I absolutely loved the mental health rep in this book) The relationship between Desi and Jace is fire and the tension is top tier. The spicy scenes were perfection and had my giggling and blushing.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 by these amazing authors and I can't wait to read their other books. This was seriously a wild ride and I loved every delicious moment.

I really liked this book. It was funny at times. Spice was spicing. I can't wait to see what else these authors come out with. Definitely recommend if you want a quick, fun read.

It’s so rare to find a paranormal romance book where SHE is the demon, so I’ve been really excited for Unleashing Chaos. The premise of a demon coming to the human world to find an eternal partner or else is really fun and interesting, and I thought the spice was really good.

This dragged a little bit in the later part of the book, but the end was action packed. Desi was a little naive for my tastes, but I still had fun with this.

This book has really great anxiety/GAD representation and it’s handled with such care. One of the authors has GAD and you can tell they really put an importance on accurate representation while being sure to handle it in a sensitive way.

Highlights:
- Romance: MF
- Demon x human
- Fake dating/engagement
- Grumpy x sunshine
- The broken boy
- Roommates
- Forced proximity
- Only one bed
- Anxiety rep

Note: I received an advance readers copy. Decision to read/review was my own. Opinion is my own.

This is a sinfully delicious book. You get to experience so many emotions- heartbreak, laughter, swooning, hopefulness, and anticipation to name a few. I enjoyed reading this from start to finish. It doesn’t feel as though written by two authors either, which isn’t always the case. Definitely recommend!

This story follows Desi who arrives in the human world to find herself a husband for her kingdom. This is a very Wattpad type of book and yes it’s published by Wattpad, and I very much enjoyed it. This was such a fun read written by 2 authors who could tell a great story. I loved the world that the authors created in this book. It was fun but I do wish we got to explore more of it or I hope we can get another book from this world. I loved the storyline and seeing the FMC find love the way she always dreamed. The pacing was fast and very flowing with fun conflicts in the story. This book is told from both Desi and Jace’s pov.

Desi is a princess of her demons and comes to the human world to find her partner. I enjoyed her character as she was fun and was never afraid to try something new. Jace is a character I didn’t expect to like but I did start liking his story. I do have to say that this dude developed very slowly but at least he figured out his things. There were some amazing side characters and Desi’s siblings sound so fun that I wish we can get their stories. The romance is forced proximity and friends with benefits that have some steamy scenes throughout the book.

The ending was quite well and some things were not expected the way it went which I enjoyed. I do have to say that the only reason this book didn’t get full stars is because I wanted to see more love triangle in this book. I also thought it would be more fun to learn the world too. Overall, it was a great story that I recommend checking it out.

This book had the bones of everything I love, but something about it just didn’t land as solidly as I had hoped it would. From demon princess, Sloth-personifed Desideria (Desi), to a deadline for a marriage of convenience (or love), to a vulnerable and traumatized nerdy boy, Jace, who happens to be a freak in the sheets, to an adorable bestie character in Cannon who is such a ride or die for Desi, allllllll of the pieces were there. And for a good portion of the book, I was really entertained! I thought the steamy scenes were done really well, the arc of Desi learning the human rituals of dating and building her relationships with Cannon and Jace was so good, and I definitely found myself rooting for the endgame couple.

That being said, I also found there were long stretches of the book where the plot seemed to lag due to the one problem of Jace’s trauma. Little work was done to actively heal or address it until the very end of the book, and while the depiction of anxiety was incredibly well-done by the authors, it bordered on becoming a plot obstacle that was insurmountable, instead of something for the characters to work through together. I say this as someone with pretty chronic anxiety myself, so it takes one to know one, truly.

Also, as a purely superficial, nitpicky thing that came up enough to irk me, the book kept on referring to the characters looking out their bedroom window… into the other’s room. I don’t know what the layout of this house is, and perhaps I am just misunderstanding architecture, but never in my life have I been in a house where there is an interior window that looks into another room of the SAME HOUSE?? Perhaps with interior doors that happen to have window panes in them, but the book describes them as literal windows that Desi and Jace look through, to see into the other’s bedroom. It’s been almost a week and I still cannot fathom how the hell that works. Anyway, I digress.

Overall, this was a fun read. I think the ending was good and the little twist with Cannon was great. I just wish pacing could have been dealt with a bit better to feel like things were actually progressing throughout the whole novel, instead of Desi just being at a standstill until Jace decided to overcome his anxiety and trauma. For those reasons, I give this 3⭐

🤔 Thoughts:

- Jace was unlikeable most of the book. He ignored Desi, was a killjoy against her and Cannon's playfulness, and he had some serious commitment issues.

- I liked the details about some of the dates Desi went on w/ Cannon and Jace, but it was too much. Deleting some of those dates such as them going out to dinner and ice skating.

- The love triangle was pretty weak because Cannon and Desi got along so well as friends. Jace was the intense one who lusted after Desi the most. He kept pushing Cannon on her to mask his desire. The dating coach pointers Cannon and Jace gave Desi were pretty useless because she needed to find her eternal partner, not a good time.

-The seven deadly sins was used to identify Desi(sloth) and her six brothers. Whenever a brother popped in (mainly Mandis and Lux) it served as comic relief. I wouldn't mind additional books about the brothers.

-I didn't see the "surprise" coming at the end which means the subterfuge was really good.

⚠️Trigger Warnings : H has panic attacks and scars, parental abandonment, sexual harassment

Tropes:
😈 Dual POV
😈 Fake Dating
😈 "Fuck it"
😈 One Bed

This was a quick, fun read, with somehow almost every trope I can think of. They really packed it all in! We follow Desi, a princess of hell who needs to find her love in the human world, so they can rule together for eternity. A slow to medium burn romance, and an overall entertaining read. My only criticism would be that I found Desi to be a little bit too naïve. I understand she’s from another world, but it made the beginning of the book a little frustrating.

“Fuck it, I lied”

^^ There were some great moments of tension as well (I love the “fuck it” trope) Overall a fun and enjoyable read <3

This was good. I would read more by this author. I think the world building was a little clunky though

This book was a bit of a let down for me. Desi and her personality was pretty grating. But the romance and friendships in this were super cute.

Okay this is definitely one of my favorite reads so far this year. I love a good PNR and this had everything that makes me happy. I love redemption arcs and personal growth, and these main characters took their imperfections and complemented each other. I love stories that have a plot line in addition to spicy scenes, and this plot had me hooked. I lost sleep over this book because I didn’t want to put it down. Overall, a fantastic book!

❤️ Tropes ❤️
💋 paranormal romance
💋 Angels/demons
💋 mental health rep
💋 fake dating
💋 forced proximity: roommates edition
💋 two love interests
💋 grumpy/sunshine
💋 Reverse “who hurt you?!”

Desi is a demon princess on the mortal plane for 90 days. She convinced her dad to let her search her for her bonded partner, and he set this timeframe. She may not know how to use phone apps, or know what DTF means, but she is determined. She finds a place to rent and ends up with two single hot guys as roommates. They aren’t an option, but holy Hades are they nice to look at. Cannon is willing to help in her dating quests in anyway he can. Jace is grumpy, tightly controlled organization, and guarded, but protective. With time ticking, she has to find her future co-ruler in a hurry.

I absolutely loved the concept of this book, but it personally just ended up falling flat to me. It didn't take me too long to get into the book, but my interest for the story kept coming in waves (and more often than not I had found myself disinterested). I feel like it this story was trying to be too many things at once but ended up feeling underdeveloped in the end. I was neutral about the characters, the writing at times felt awkward and dialogue forced, and I feel like the story itself went on for too long. I feel like there were certain plot points that more than likely could've been left out and I would've enjoyed the book more.

I definitely see myself checking out more from these authors in the future, but this book personally wasn't for me.
