I thought the premise of this book sounded really good, however, it came off very YA when I thought it was going to be adult. It fell a little short for me.

Demons meet 90 day fiancé, and fake dating? Say less. All my little vices rolled into one.
I thought this story was so fun. Desideria is not your average demon by mqking deals and stealing souls.
She's more of a laid back kind if demon.
The banter was great. I wish we had more moments with Glen because I honestly feel like he is my spirit animal.
Jace was kinda perfect. I also have anxiety, so it's always nice to have a character that you can kind of relate to.
There were some dark moments, but overall this is a fluffy little ball of chaos.
I enjoyed it from start to finish.
I thought it was going to be a darker romance because of the cover, but it's not.
This was a great little adventure.

Really exciting premise that just fell short. This read more like a sappy hallmark movie than a sexy paranormal romance. And while I’m all for a sappy romance, I was so excited for this book that it was disappointing for it to end up like this. The storyline and characters are one dimensional. The romance is the only reason I finished the book because it was cute at the beginning but towards the end it just became frustrating. The FMC is the most naive being in the universe and she’s supposed to have been alive for centuries. I understand the human realm is new to her but she does not have an ounce of sense. The MC was exciting at the beginning but hard to like the more you read his responses. The reasons behind his actions were sad and meant to make the reader empathetic towards him but the way it was written for him to tell her was so abrupt and then they moved on. This also led to the same push and pull arguments between the characters for the second half of the book. This book has potential to be great but it didn’t quite make it there in my opinion.

Desi is a demon princess, who's not only looking for a roommate in the human world, but looking for a partner for eternity. Oh, and she only has ninety days to find him.
She's over a century old, but hasn't really ever dated, so good thing her hunky roommates, Jace and Cannon are here to help.

✨ Grumpy MMC/Sunshine FMC

✨ Slow burn romance ❤️🔥
I don't usually gravitate towards books that are set in the "real" world, but add a little demon princess in and I started liking it pretty quickly.
Being a demon, Desi wasn't well versed with the human world. Yes, she was naïve, but there were a lot of funny interactions with the guys. Like them just constantly saying "HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT STAR WARS IS?!" I couldn't help but laugh.
Jace eventually (and accidentally) finds out that Desi is a demon, and I legit lol'd at: "What in the fucking magical ass Mary Poppins trippy shit is this?” among other very funny moments.
I could see how the book could read a little YA-ie, but I thought Desi was very sweet. And the "fake dating" trope was pure 🔥🔥 and I loved the spice. The banter was amazing as well.
There was some formatting issues, but as it's an early ARC, it didn't take away from the reading experience or the story itself.
* Thank you to Watt Pad Books and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for my honest review *

Thank you NetGalley for the read!
I’m not sure how I feel but this was the first book I DTF and felt that it was supposed to be an adult book but felt very YA and juvenile. There many errors that should have been addressed and formatting that should have been looked at by the publisher.
Elements:
Dual POV
It had forced proximity
Grumpy/ sunshine
Fake dating
I feel bad for not being able to finish but I hope to give it another chance when I have the time. The idea is great and I feel like it can catch on with a more polished copy.

Unleashing Chaos was a fast paced, easy to read novel with relatable characters (especially the demons).
Our demon princess Desi is looking for her eternal partner, but instead ends up rooming with the least emotionally available man on earth (Jace), and a hot piece who unfortunately she has zero chemistry with (Cannon). Luckily the two boys are there to help guide Desi through dating in the modern realm.
This novel has a few of our favourite tropes: fake dating, grumpy/sunshine, one bed, all wrapped into one little hurricane.
Although a lot of the content of this book is Adult, it reads more like a YA novel - for that reason 3 stars.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC

I thoroughly enjoyed this book that encompasses many tropes. It is a paranormal, fake dating, friends to lovers, forced proximity style book that will keep readers entertained. Jace had encountered significant trauma and a history of abandonment resulting in anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Desi was lively and hopeful. The characters are delightfully flawed and wonderfully drawn to each other.

This was a super cute and easy to read paranormal romcom. The spice was pretty great, the banter had me giggling, and I’m so glad Desi and Jace and Cannon all get happy endings. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Had to DNF. Just not the type of story for me. The FMC was I “think” supposed to be endearing with her “what is Google” and “what is DTF” but I found myself just rolling my eyes. Thanks to NetGalley for providing a copy.

5/5 stars ⭐️
- Paranormal Romance
- Swoon Worthy Banter
- Dual POV
- Fake Dating
- Alpha-hole
- Anxiety Representation
- 90-day eternal partner
- “Fuck It”
- Praise
You will not want to put this book down! Unleashing Chaos is beautifully written paranormal romance based on the 7 deadly sins. Between the real-world elements and paranormal world elements Crystal and Felicity seamlessly brought together a romance to DIE for and to become a little bit chaotic within our own selves.
This book brings in so many amazing tropes throughout their 90-days that you become obsessed with what’s next. Obviously the “Fuck It” moments have me by the chokehold, but at the end of it all the growth of Desi and her relationships with Jace and Cannon make this book a top contender for my favourite 2024 book.
Join Desi on her adventure to find her eternal partner in 90-days while battling the reality of dating in the real-world! Plus enjoy some nerdy Star Wars references throughout.
May the force be with you little hurricane 😍

Unleashing Chaos is a fun contemporary romance, with fake dating and a splash of fantasy. It’s a great light read, that will have you giggling out loud. The story follows Desi; a chaotic demon, trying to find her eternal partner. But dating in the human world isn’t going exactly to Desi’s plans. Can she find true love before her time runs out? And how much can her grumpy organised roommate take of the storm she unleashes?
Perfect for romance readers looking for a soft introduction to fantasy.

3.5⭐️ This was super cute. A little paranormal romcom that was easy to read and made me giggle so many times.
Desi and Jace have an opposites attract connection with some fake dating thrown in the mix and it’s a fun story to follow as they finally realize they’re perfect for each other.
I really enjoyed the first half of this, the last 40% dragged though, and the timeline felt a little disjointed. The spicy scenes were a little cringe and I’m so sad to say that! There was potential though but I think their dialogue was a little much.
Super cute though all in all and I’d for sure be interested in any spinoffs!

Received this ARC in exchange for review. If you’re looking for a demon/human romance with literally every romance cliche you can think of packed in to it - false starts, love triangle, grumpy/sunshine, virgin, praise, fake dating, one bed, forced proximity, 90 day fiance but make it demons, tension, angsty, spicy (obviously) and an almost uncomfortable amount of consent (def all for consent but it is a main theme here) for sure pick this up. I did like the writing overall, though it was written well for what it was and would be very immersive for someone who’s in to it, but I can admit this just wasn’t really my thing (romance with a very small fantasy/paranormal element). I think it will be wildly popular in the romance and “booktok” circles. I know that this book doesn’t come out for several more months, but there were some editing and format issues.
Thank you NetGalley, the authors and publishers for allowing me to review the book.

4.5/5 stars 3/5 spice
I loved this story it flowed so effortlessly that I was so sad when I realized I had reached the end!
Desi a princess from hell must find an eternal partner and she is determined to find love on her own. She comes to the human realm in hopes of finding love but is on a time crunch from her dad… only 90 days to find the one.
Desi finds a room to rent and sets off to find love. The most human way possible, dating apps. After disastrous dates her two roommates agree to help. The grumpy roommate Jace drives Desi insane and Cannon is a sweet friend ready to help.
This book has so many amazing tropes from fake dating, protective MMC, touch her and die vibes and perfectly written open door spice.
This book also had such a beautiful portrayal of living with anxiety that added such a relatable element to this book.

I loved this book so much!
Desi has 90 days to find an eternal partner so she can rule her circle of Infernis, so she goes to the human realm to find one. She rents a room in Jace Wilder’s house, and she starts to realise that her possible eternal partner might be right under her nose.
This book has amazing mental illness representation, spice (I would give it 3🌶️), banter and so many little details that will make you swoon.
It’s definitely an amazing read, where the writing flow just keeps you hooked and makes you not want to close the book.
The paranormal elements are incredibly well incorporated into the story, and you can fully submerge yourself in it. I can definitely see this book becoming a movie or something, because OMG.
Jace Wilder is definitely in the top of my list of book boyfriends.

Thank you to the authors, the publisher, and NetGalley for this advanced readers' copy in exchange for an honest review.
Rating: 2/5 stars
Read for:
- Forced-proximity
- Dual POV
- Mental illness rep
- Paranormal, demon-involved romance
I unfortunately did have to DNF this book after a few chapters. The writing did not flow very well, it was poorly edited, and the EPUB was not formatted well at all. The latter I expect to be something that is changed prior to the official release, but it needed to be said.
The premise is something that will certainly draw future readers in, especially those looking for something steamy and paranormal. It scratches all the right itches. However, I do not jive with the overall execution. For that reason, I am giving it a 2/5 - it's good, but it has some errors, and its format is not right for me.

I don’t think I can describe how addicting this story is! Fantasy mixed with Romance anddd paranormal 🫶🏼 my first read of 2024 and It might just be my favorite. Believe me when I say this read was captivated and you will not want to put it down and when you do it will be all you can think about

This book was so good! The chemistry, banter, and tension was so good! It is an emotional rollercoaster, but there is a HEA, so no worries. 💋so good!! I definitely recommend.

This may be one of my favorite books that I have read this year! I was so captivated that I did not want to put it down! I related to both Jace and Desi on many levels. I loved the authors' take on the afterlife. I would love to read about Desi's other 6 siblings. This is definitely a book I will be re-reading many, many times.

Absolutely love this book!
The premise is very much 90 day fiancé, but make it paranormal.
Desideria, our demon princess, is a delightful FMC and very much relatable. She has 3 months to find a partner to rule in her circle of hell and she decides to look for one outside her regular world.
Jace (Mr Grump) and Cannon (the golden retriever) are such adorable nerds and their friendship is goals. Their dynamics with Desi when they all move in together is funny as hell. Especially the banter with Jace lol And Cannon is great at giving advice!
As always, I’m not gonna say much about the story, but you can expect lots of:
- Laughs
- Tension (a must in the forced proximity trope)
- Spice! Phenomenal scenes in this department 🫠
- The 7 circles of hell
And so much more!
This is a great book for paranormal romance lovers. The plot is really good and it will have you on the edge of your seat at times. Highly recommend!
PS: Team cups right side up alllll the way.
Thank you Net Galley for the arc.
