"Never Fall Again" is a Christian romantic suspense. Landry married a 'good Christian man' only to find out it was a front. He was emotionally abusive and manipulative. After he died in an accident, his parents threaten to take her daughter from her, so Landry took up a friend on her offer of a job making and teaching pottery to rich people at her exclusive mountain resort. Landry had a hard time trusting the appearance of goodness though she still believes in God. As she and Cal worked together on her dream home, they came to admire and care for each other. They built a friendship until they could trust each other enough to work through their issues from past relationships.

The main characters were engaging and reacted realistically to events. The suspense came from the the repeated attacks on Landry's livelihood escalating to danger to her, her daughter, and Cal. Both Landry and Cal occasionally prayed to God for help. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I would recommend this enjoyable suspense novel.

I really enjoy reading Lynn H. Blackburn's books and this one kept me guessing right to the very end. Christian mystery and suspense at it's best!

This is Landry Hutton's story, a woman whom has been beaten down, so to say, but is now rising from the ashes, she never wants to put herself or her precocious daughter, in a situation that she was once in.

Landry has come back to Gossamer Falls, and now is moving on with her life, minus a relationship. Enter into her life and well rooted in Gossamer Falls Cal Shaw, whom is rather in the same boat, and it looks like the best these two can do is become friends.

Now there are fires, and destruction of Landry's work, then along with with danger comes more!

I was guessing right until the end, and loved that we are updated with a few months out!

This is the first book I've read by Lynn Blackburn but it won't be the last. I am so invested in this small town with dueling neighbors that it's going to be hard to wait for the next book. Great suspense. Great romance. Great characters.

Never Fall Again by Lynn Blackburn keeps you guessing as to the perpetrator is. The Haven at Gossamer Falls is mentioned in a prior book which lays the groundwork for this series.

The Haven has an artist in resident, Landry Hutton. Landry is a widow and single mother determined to not have a repeat of her marriage. When there are attacks against her her studio the question of who is behind it brings her past to the front.

Cal Quinn once was involved with a single mother who ripped the children from his life and he is equally determined to not walk into that again. When his life collides with Landry and her daughter, Eliza, he is torn. With the attacks against Landry escalating he is intent on protecting her.

Lynn does it again, brings us a story we are held captive to. Now we’re anxiously awaiting the subsequent sequels to find out what happens to the others we have come to care about.

Another amazing book by Lynn Blackburn. Full of suspense and has the reader guessing up until the last minute. The suspense is filled in between with a sweet and yet hard love story and story of belonging.

What a great story - Landry Hutton and her daughter Eliza take a rocky journey from a deceased abusive husband and family to a peaceful mountainous home in North Carolina!
Landry works as a potter and teacher at a quiet resort that wealthy movie stars and rich patrons like to frequent and she decides to build a home there. But her employer is a member of a family that has had an amicable feud for many years and she sold Landry some family land.
So Landry decides to see a builder named Cal about building a new home/ shop on the land, Cal offers to build the house but then Landry's pottery studio is set on fire and Cal looks out for her.
Who wants Landry gone and why?

landy hutton is an artist and teaches pottery in gossamer falls retreat center. she hires cal to build her and her daughter a house. but someone destroys her workshop . this is a well written story and could not put the book down. if you like mysteries you will want to read this one i was given a copy of the book by netgalley but this is an honest review.

The writing is good. The characters are relatable. The main characters are passionate. The book is poignant and I was deeply touched by Landry Hutton’s past. I can only imagine what her daughter Eliza must have been through as some things becomes traumatic and stays with us for a long time. Though Landry is truly an artistic and optimistic person. She is trying to rebuilt her life and provide a secure life to her five years old daughter. Cal is a sweet, kind, emotional and decent man. He is carrying the baggage of his unsettling past too. He is planning to join his family business. He has been helpful to Landry as he could see through her soul. But the suspicion fire in Landry’s pottery has put her and her daughter’s life in grave danger, Will Cal be able to save them? I liked the bond between Cal and Landry. I liked Cal’s mother too. The side characters are interesting too. I adored Maisy. The ending is so good and there were some sweet moments. This is a great page turner and such a powerful and emotional book.

Never Fall again was an excellent read. Lynn Blackburn does it again capturing your love for characters in her new series. I stayed up way too late reading this heart warming and exciting story where two people scared to love again need each other to face the danger that is stalking them. I can hardly wait to read about the other characters that have captured my attention.

I have tried to read all of Ms. Blackburn's books and I believe I have found my favorite. I loved the relationship between Cal and Landry. And the way the family accepted Landry was great. Family relationships are so important and I'm glad that was a main focus point in this book.
Can't wait to see what happens next in Gossamer Falls!

AHHHH! This book was so exciting and amazing. Never Fall Again is the first book in Lynn H Blackburn’s Gossamer Falls series. I will read anything that Blackburn writes so I was beyond excited to read this one!
Landry and Cal were just the perfect couple together. It is always fun to meet new characters and a new setting. I liked seeing Gossamer Falls and reading about the romance between Landry and Cal.
I really liked Landry. She was relatable and just trying her best. She adored her daughter and wanted to keep her safe. She had been hurt before but she was learning to let others in and trust in God’s plan. Cal was also a sweetheart. He was dealing with his own hurts. I loved reading about Cal with his family, it was so fun!
I adored the characters in this book and the suspense had me on the edge of my seat. It was perfect, I didn’t want to put the book down. I wanted to know what was going to happen and how Landry and Cal were going to end up together. I liked the progression of their relationship and how they learned to trust each other first.
The side characters really added to the story, especially the whole Quinn family! Blackburn always writes the most amazing characters. The family aspects of this book were perfect. I also adored Landry's daughter, Eliza. I am super excited for the next book.
I could not recommend Never Fall Again more! Blackburn is such an amazing writer and this is another winner. The characters, the romance, suspense, and story were lovely. Never Fall Again is a clean Christian romantic suspense.

Landry Hutton has spent three years rebuilding her life behind the secure gates of The Haven, an exclusive resort on the outskirts of Gossamer Falls, North Carolina. As the artist-in-residence, and with her pottery prized by The Haven's guests, Landry is finally ready to settle in permanently. She wants to give her daughter, Eliza, a safe home to grow up in and hires former Marine Callum Shaw to handle the construction.
I loved the characters, plot and theme. But I felt it could have been classified as Women's Fiction. It really had very little suspense.

Never Fall Again by Lynn H. Blackburn does a wonderful job of crafting a family saga filled with a number of people that will be able to be written into upcoming books. The books is labeled as a romantic suspense novel. However, it is not a romantic suspense novel. I would label this as a Women’s Fiction novel. Readers will be at 10% into the book before the first big climactic moment will occur. Then another one does not occur until about 50%, then we have at 85% the final showdown. I never felt like the main character Landry Hutton’s life was in danger. Never once did a bullet fly at her. She was not chased off the road. She was not caught in a burning building. The two damages that did happen she was not around. The story is more about the budding romance and learning to trust each other between Cal and Landry. Readers will see Cal’s family as they decide to accept Landry and her daughter. Readers will also learn what happened in Landry’s and Cal’s past. Overall, Never Fall Again by Lynn H. Blackburn, in my humble opinion, was a disappointment as a romantic suspense novel. If it was labeled as a Women’s fiction, the readers would not expect much excitement and danger for their characters, which is what this novel delivered.

Another Lynn Blackburn book that had me hooked from the first page. The characters are wonderfully developed. I loved little Eliza, Landry, Cal, Cal’s extended family, and who could forget Maisy, the loveable, intuitive Golden Retriever! There is romance, drama, suspense, and love! There is baggage from the past but also hope for the future and second chances. I loved this book and look forward to reading more about the people of Gossamer Falls.

Powerful, romantic, emotional, suspenseful, page-turner. All words to describe Never Fall Again. I loved it! Landry, Cal, and Eliza are enchanting and engaging characters, and I loved them and the whole extended family. So much love, a bit of drama, baggage to overcome, and hope for the future. This is a wonderful read and I eagerly look forward to more in the series!
