This wasn't my favourite out of this series.
It was almost cringey, the way Viktoria spoke. I understand that North is trying to portray her as rich, superior, vain. But this wasn't the way to do it.
If you're looking for something easy to read that you don't need to think about, by all means pick up this series.

This book follows former Army Ranger sniper, Lee McCallister, who is medically retired due to an eye injury, and Viktoria Jonsdottir, the daughter of an Icelandic businessman aiming to prove herself in the business world. Lee is tasked with protecting Viktoria during her trip to New York, but their journey takes a dangerous turn when they face threats and attempts on Viktoria's life. Although Chance and Harris are his brothers, Lee had a totally different story. Of course, being an ex Army Ranger means hot, alpha and possessive. Lee is supposed to protect a wealthy daughter from an assassination. Of course, he’ll take his assignment very seriously. Even when said daughter doesn’t want him to be her protector.

But during the different attemps on Viktoria’s life, Lee learns there is more to her than just a spoiled brat. And Viktoria learns that the brooding soldier has a heart of gold. But although she feels attracted to him, can she give him her heart? Once burnt…

As always, Leslie keeps you on the edge of your seat. four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I really enjoyed this bodyguard/billionare romance and the third book in the McAllister brothers series. I would recommend you read the other books first but this can still be read and enjoyed as a standalone.

I really enjoyed the banter between Lee and viktoria, even if viktoria initially acted like she didn’t need him as she was trying to be strong. The romance was very fast paced as was the entire book.
I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a suspenseful,faced paced and quick romance read.

Viktoria wants nothing to do with the bodyguard that her father hired. She is a self-confident woman who is not going to be controlled by a security detail. She has a schedule plus she is working on making a name for herself. Lee McCallister could care less about all of that, as a former Army Ranger his job now is to protect her. As they argue amongst other things she realizes that she was duped and is now kidnapped. McCallister even though fired will not give up until he finds her. It a very good with a lot of action and suspense with mystery.

That third star is generous. This had a good start for me, but by the took a nose dive (no pun intended as their is a plane crash involved).

The events start normal considering he is her bodyguard and she is an international billionaire; a botched kidnapping and an attempted attack thwarted by Lee. However, the action escalates and becomes ridiculous.

There is instant attraction but it is so intense and serious, you would think they had at least know each other for a month, or few weeks at best. But no, it has literally been about 2 days. 2 DAYS!

The first half to three quarters of the way through I enjoyed! I liked the banter and the alone time together and the bedroom time, but when the plane explodes..... it became a bit cheesy for me.

This is the third book in the series McCallister Military Brothers by Leslie North and reading this one felt like a chore. It’s the story of Lee and Viktoria, and it basically was "I shouldn’t be doing this, but I want to". Annonying, tedious and boring.

Questions answered from the last title. This trilogy needs to be read in order. Lovely relationship between brothers, nice suspense and a satisfactory ending!

This was the final book in the trilogy. Lee is finally starting to find himself after having lost the ability to be a sniper. Being a bodyguard is not what he had planned but it is okay. When he gets assigned to protect the most beautiful woman he ever met all bets are off. Viktoria is strong willed and not afraid to go head to head with Lee. She never expected to develop something for him but she starts to. Then things are said and things blow up. Will they both make it to see where things will go between them?

I really liked this story, as it seemed a bit different. Viktoria was smart, yet gullible and I enjoyed her character. I really liked that she was from another country. Lee is just a nice guy-with sex appeal. Short as usual and well worth the read. I liked that both characters were strong willed. 4 stars For me, this was the best of the 3 in the series.

This is the 3rd and final book in the “McCallister Military Brothers Series.” This is an entertaining read that has its share of drama, action packed, suspense, mystery, mayhem, romance, great characters and lot that held me captive. Lee is the youngest of the McCallister brothers. Lee’s eye has been injured while serving in the Army as a ranger and he is being medically discharged. He has now entered into the world of retiring from his military duties as his brothers Chance a former Navy SEAL and Harris a former Marine Raider. Lee is now working as a private bodyguard for Boom. Viktoria is in danger and her father has hired Lee as her private bodyguard along with two others to travel with her to NY. As Viktoria and her bodyguard board the plane little did they know that they were in for a treat with the pilot trying to kidnap her.

Why does Viktoria need a bodyguard, why is she being kidnapped, can Lee keep, protect and keep Viktoria safe, will he be able to take down the pilot, is there an HEA in store for Lee and Viktoria.

I love all the books in this series, and this latest did not disappoint. Lee and Viktoria are great characters with a lot of depth and underlining issues. The plot, as always, has lots of intrigue, adventure, and romance, and moves at a quick pace. Love Leslie North books, highly recommend.

The last book in this very suspenseful series. Each story can be a stand alone. They are about three brothers but that is pretty much the only connection.
I felt so bad for Lee and the way that Viktoria made him feel less than. Could tell that she has had to be the strong one in the past and doesn't know how to relinquish that. I liked this whole book. Nothing to complain about at all.
