Absolutely thought this was adorable to read and made the story fresh for me. I think it will be a hit with those lovers of the show and those looking for something new from this universe who read the initial series!

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This looks super cute and adorable. I love Demon Slayer and have started collecting the manga, and I know this will be a great addition to any Demon Slayer collection.

A great addition to the Demon Slayer franchise. I know my students will be fighting to read this.

A more fun and light hearted spin to the series.

This version of the Demon Slayer setting is perfect for younger readers who may be interested in the series, either from seeing it online, older siblings, etc. but may not be ready to read them for themselves (the original series is cataloged as adult in my library, for example). I think this will also be good for fans of the series who enjoy some of the more comedic aspects or simply want to engage more with their favorite characters.

Manga is hugely popular in the library and the main Demon Slayer series has been the biggest issuer this year so far. I think this one will also find a readership but maybe not appealing to all the readers of the original.

This would be OK to put in elementary schools even though the publisher rated it for Teens. Mostly, the slayers are attending class and getting into antics, getting detention, trying to order pizza, but there isn't very much violence in this title like there is in the main Demon Slayer series.

I'm kind of at a loss in how to review this book. I think this would have made a LOT more sense had I been knowledgable of the Demon Slayer world before I read this book and I would recommend maybe getting to know the characters in the other books (anime? I have no idea, I'm sorry.) first before reading this one.

It was cute, but I was at sea. I didn't know the characters and their personalities, so seeing them as younger chibi versions of themselves didn't amuse me so much as confuse me.

I am not the target audience for this book and it shows. This is a "me" problem and not a "book" problem. I went in blind, so any confusion is due to that and my ignorance, not due to the book.

3, I need to research a bit more and come back to this one, stars.

My thanks to NetGalley and VIZ Media LLC for an eARC of this book to read and review.

I love Demon Slayer, but I thought this was really boring. None of the characters acted very much like I would expect, and nothing especially happened in the entire manga.

If you want wholesome fluff after the ending of Demon Slayer obliterated your soul, this is for you. It gives RWBY Chibi vibes with the art style and story vignettes, and it's fun to see the various characters in a modern setting and what they would be up to in the modern world.

A cute, domestic reframing of the Demon Slayer series as a school comedy, in the vein of Isekai Quartet, Attack on Titan Junior High, and other series that let the audience see their favorite characters in a low-stakes modern setting. Like all of those, this only makes sense if you're already a dedicated fan of Demon Slayer and want to see the characters get into wacky, school related hijinks.

As always thank you Netgalley and publisher for a copy ! <3

This volume was super cute and it was nice to see the characters in less aggressive situations. The volume was filled with silly situations and was drawn in a chibi style. It takes place in a school setting and includes everyones favorite characters being their authentic selfs.

I really enjoyed it and think many other KNY fans will as well.

Changes the setting of the original to a school. Full of fun off the wall hijinks. Readers of this series will enjoy this new spin on there favorite characters.

This is a spin-off of the Demon Slayer series, putting all of the characters into a modern school setting. The chapters are pretty self-contained and are mostly quick, fun stories about the characters. It's particularly fun seeing who is who, as some people as teachers, while it makes sense, is really funny to see on paper. I also love the chibi art style and how chaotic the stories can get. Demon Slayer is a serious series, so it's nice to see the characters in light-hearted situations. This is a fun read, and a must have for all kny fans.
