This was a great read by two amazing authors. I loved how well the story was written and the mafia/mc aspects clashing together! It’s a dream team for sure

Filthy Disciple is part of The Disciples series. This book is about Cade and Isobel (Cindy/Bell) and is told from both of their points of view.
Isobel is a waitress and Cade frequents her place of business. Something happens and Cade shows up as a knight in shining armor. Cindy needs to get away from her life and Cade asks her to come back to New York with him. Cindy refused to ever go back there but went because she was having feelings for Cade.
However, once in New York secrets and pasts come about. What happens when she finds out Cade isn't who he says he is? What happens when Cindy's past comes back to visit her? Will Cade and Cindy get their happy ending?
I enjoyed this book and would love to go back and read the rest of this universe.

I swear Serena can do no wrong. Everything she writes is perfection! Collaborating with Cassandra Robbins to mesh the two series together was a brilliant idea.
This novel, though it follows the characters of Serenas Five Point Mob and Cassandras Disciples series, it can be read as a stand alone. However, who wants to do that when it means there's more books to read.
It was cleverly written, super spicy, quickly paced. It was the perfect mid sized book in between Serenas larger ones.
I mixed this audio version with the written version and I will say Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did a great job with the narration. I was hooked.
Totally recommend this to anyone and everyone. I speak on every social media page possible about Serena's cleverness and her Easter eggs. I will be sad when I'm finished with the series.

thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Filthy Disciple was a super pleasant surprise. I went in with low expectations, but I loved the pacing and content of this book. I felt Cade and Bell had chemistry from the get go, and despite the short timeline I just enjoyed witnessing their relationship and plot. This book was jampacked with spice which I appreciated, and they had a fantastic set of narrators which feels rare in the romance audiobooks I receive. I loved it because it felt more immersive and interesting.

Loved this audiobook with Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell. They were perfect together and really made it come alive for me. This was extra steamy and I loved the sarcasm. These authors speak my language and this was a great escape from my boring repetitive, stressful day. I really enjoyed this, just a quick not to deep enjoyable novel.
Thanks to Dreamscape Media via Netgalley.

oooooh yesyesyes love. smut on audio is always iffy but this hit every star for me. automatic love and will be recommending to everyone

This book was a solid mafia romance. There was definitely plenty of dirty talking in the bedroom and it was basically an insta-love romance. I didn't find myself super connected to the characters but I still enjoyed the story. I listened to it via audiobook and felt that the narration was well done and lent itself to a solid listening experience.
Thank you to NetGalley for this early copy. I voluntarily listened to and review it and the opinions contained within are my own.

Cade is charming and easy on his smile, while Cindy Belle's story broke my heart. They were two lost souls, both needing to make peace with their past, thrust together in a web of lies and deceit. She was supposed to be an assignment. Find the spoiled runaway girl and return her to her father in New York. She is involve in the disciples and Cade might put her in jeopardy if he take her back so he has to decide if can complete his task.

Okay, first off let me tell you this is my first time with either author but I will definitely be signing up for anything they write in the future. This one was H-O-T. I came into this one not knowing anything about what was going on but quickly figured it out. Cindy/Isabella is on the run from her father/family and has taken up with an MC to get away from the Mob. Cade is sent by her father to bring her back. When he shows up he cannot believe what he is walking in to. There is no way he is taking her back. This Bella is his and he is keeping her. Hang on to your seats, this is one HOT and bumpy ride.

this just wasnt my cup of tea so i didnt continue with it. the pkot just wasnt gripping me enough. there wasn't anything bad though and im sure many will enjoy

“Filthy Disciple” by Serena Akeroyd and Cassandra Robbins. This book isn’t just your everyday romance or drama—it’s like someone threw a bunch of bikers and mobsters in a blender, hit puree, and poured out a cocktail of chaos and camaraderie. And guess what? I kinda loved it. I listened to the audiobook and I’m so glad I did!
Joe Arden, with a voice that could probably coax the leaves off trees, is one of my favorite male narrators. His effortless transition between characters, each with their distinct vocal identity, is like watching a seasoned actor slipping into roles, making the world of bikers and mobsters come alive with a rugged authenticity.
On the flip side, Maxine Mitchell, with her range of vocal expressions, adds layers of complexity to the characters, especially the female protagonist, Isabelle. Her portrayal navigates through the maze of emotions with a finesse that makes the characters feel real and relatable. The sass, the angst, and the moments of vulnerability are all rendered with a palpable realism that adds a new dimension to the storytelling.
A piece of advice? Maybe give the Disciples series a read before diving into this one. It’s like going to a party and realizing it’s a family reunion, but you only know one cousin.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape for a copy of the audiobook!

I wanted to read more from Serena Akeroyd and Cassandra Robbins so when I saw the audiobook for Filthy Disciple was available to review, I jumped on it, especially with narration by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden. While this title isn’t as gritty or dark as some of Serena’s other titles I’ve read, it had the right mix of plot, steam, and everything you’d expect in a mafia book. I loved the unexpected turns the story took, and how neither character was exactly who they seemed at the start. While there is a bit of an insta-lust to love plotline with tons of steam, outside of the love story there is also a ton of action and the story moves quickly making it hard to put down.
She was supposed to be an assignment. Find the spoiled runaway girl and return her to her father in New York. What he found called everything he knew about his assignment into question. She is a mess, but there’s more to her story than he was told. She is also affiliated with the Disciples, which makes his task even harder. He’s there to do a job no matter what it takes, but when he realizes that completing his task may put her in more danger than leaving her where she is, choices must be made.
When an author tackles both an MC and a mafia series, you know there will be a great story to be told. However, this one will surprise you multiple times in the best of ways. Sometimes when a couple falls quickly for one another, it pushes believability for me, but that was not the case with Filthy Disciple. I really enjoyed Cindy’s redemption story and Cade’s where he carves his place in the organization. While I don’t know everyone’s backstories as well as longtime fans of both series, this book did well as a standalone title and gave me an itch to binge the rest of both author’s backlists. I really need more time to read.

3.5 Stars
This was a joint book that brought together two authors and two very different series: The Disciples and Five Points. I have never read The Disciples but I love Five Points so I wanted to see where this book took us. I enjoyed the book and both characters, but did think that the story moved too fast. Everything occurs in a two week span and it made their relationship feel rushed and surface level. I think if the timeline had been expanded, it really would have worked for this story. I did like the writing styles and do plan to read the Disciples series as I found those characters interesting.

I could not put this book down! it was so good and had me in a chokehold the entire time I was reading it! It's no secret that I love everything that Serena writes, but also getting to see Cassandra's writing in this honestly made this book utter perfection.
The plot was so well done and fleshed out so thoroughly. The characters were a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, which I absolutely loved. And the spicy scenes were 10/10. I loved the Five Points Mob, so it was so exciting to jump back into this world, and meet the Disciples again in this story.
I could not put this audiobook arc down and I fell in love with it!
Thank you NetGalley for the audiobook arc in exchange for an honest review!

Filthy Disciple
The Disciples and Five Points’ Mob Cross Over

Cade Fraser was on assignment in LA. Aiden O’Donnelly sent him to rescue Cindy/Belle from the Filthy Disciples who were holding her prisoner. However, she wasn’t being held captive. Aiden owed her father a favor but apparently her father lied about the girl’s circumstances. Cade hung out at the restaurant where Cindy/Belle worked. Each day he watched her closely, studying her, getting a feel for the situation, waiting for the opportunity to take her back to New York but mostly waiting for a chance to bed her. When Cindy/Belle had a melt down he grabbed the opportunity to whisk her away to New York. He had no idea the danger that awaited her in the Big Apple.
I have to start with the obvious, THIS BOOK IS A SCROCHER!
I wasn’t sure what to make of Cindy/Belle when I began this book. I am assuming she showed up in some previous books. It seemed like everyone was against her including her best friend; she had some deep problems, among them drug abuse. Cade jumped to her rescue and flew her to New York. I was impressed by Cade. The reader realizes Cade loves her before he realizes it. I did not like the way Cindy/Belle’s friends treated her at the beginning of this tale but at the end they treated her a lot differently. Her father was the source of her problems. This is an emotional tale.

I have not read the Five Points’ Mob series, but this book made me want to go back and read it! I have however read The Disciples series, and this was the PERFECT addition to it! I loved the redemption for Cindy! Cindy and Cade had so much chemistry and I am living for it! I hope there are more books in The Disciples series!!!

I just....I dont know. I wished I had known it was a book in the middle of a series, but one of my favorite thing about standalone series is that you can jump in anywhere and not be lost, but this book wasnt one of them. THank god im not dumb because i figured it out quickly, but a little backstory would have been nice. I had no connection to any of the characters, didn't like any of them. the begining made it seem like Caid would be a sexy stalker but it wasn't like that at all. The spice was okay, but a little repetitive. there was no storyline really. the main storyline felt like an add in after the fact. Something was missing in this book but i cannot put my finger on it. the narrator was good so there's that. It jsut wasn't for me. Kind of forced baby girl trope. If youre not new to the series, you'll probably like it. I wish Netgalley told me there were others before this.

Filthy Disciple was such a great listen! I loved Cindy/Belle and Cade, the action and spice were a perfect blend that captivated me until the very end. Having only read a few of Serena's MC books, I wasn't sure what to expect but I found this story flowed well and was truly a standalone from her 5 points series. I adore Cassandra Robbins' MC series and was happy to have the knowledge of her MC characters as it just added depth to the interactions but was not required to enjoy the storyline. I wasn't sure exactly how I'd end up loving Cindy when I discovered she was the heroine, I was always a little unsure of her actions however, I really loved Cindy/Belle and so many times I wanted to just give her character a big hug! So many terrible things from her childhood that carried over into adulthood. I was happy she was able to get her revenge and move on to her happily ever after. Cade was loving and his actions won me over! He found love without expecting to and his sisters and family were great. I loved how they knocked some sense into him to see what he couldn't.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell gave excellent performances for Belle and Cade. They are always a powerhouse duo in audiobooks and did not disappoint. My listening was very enjoyable and could feel the emotions just as if I was one of the characters.

I enjoyed the narration and story of this book, makes me want to read all the rest of them that I missed to find out more of these great characters.
