Holy Cow! This one is a TOTAL MIND F. Angsty, gritty, dark, and a little cray cray is what I would describe the relationship between Vaugh and Lenora.
Vaugh harbored a deep secret that made him angry and pissed at the world. He is out for revenge and no one will stand in his path.
Lenora is misunderstood. She hides behind dark clothes and piercings but she can’t fool the angry God. I love that these characters are quite complex. I kind of anticipate Vaugh’s story early on but still, it does not lessen the blow when the disturbing truth unfolds. Vaugh and Lenora are truly soulmates. They understood each other in ways that no one around them can… and let’s not start on what happens between the sheet –dark and deliciously hot. I enjoy the banters, the suspense and the slow-burn romance. The ending was quite perfect with a HEA – just as it should be The writing is exquisite as always. Unputdownable from beginning until the end!

I'm pretty annoyed with myself for taking so long to read this series, it was truly fantastic and I'm so happy LJ is continuing it. Vaughn and Lenny were perfect and I loved their enemies to lovers story. There were some pretty dark elements to their story that took me a bit to catch on to, but once I did my heart broke for these characters. I loved Vaughn's parents and their actions and can't wait to back track and read their story, Vicious.

The audio was fantastic. I loved all 4 narrators, especially Vaughn's. It was great that they had separate narrators for his parents too.

Shen is such an underrated author! I love how this series is the second generation of some of our favourite characters. Shen’s way of writing is gripping, dark and twisty, full of angst whilst showing a great romance. I just cannot get enough of this author

😱😍 Ok, I loved this book. The world the author built is so intense and clearly drawn out. It’s almost like a dystopian high school world. It’s 4am and I just finished reading it. It’s totally f*d up and there’s some aspects of the plot that are a stretch, but it doesn’t matter because it’s so freakin good. Couldn’t put it down. Loved the characters. ⁣

Angry God  is one of this books that You want to devour in a few seconds but at the same moment You want to savour every word. It’s not only raw and beautiful story – this is also a breathtaking, heartbreaking  journey. L.J. Shen showed again – She is a MASTER. MASTER as an author. Master as a  storyteller. MASTER of my poor bookish heart.  Angry God is LIFE and for sure one of the most amazing books I’ve ever read !!!

My mind is boiling. My heart is hurting. My tears still are falling down. I’m happy because Dark Prince Spencer Jr  got his story. I’m sad because it means, that I need to say goodbye for Todos Satnos Drama. Am I ready for that ??? Can’t decide right now. I know, we all had to move on..eventually, but THIS DAY aka today HAS COME AND IT’S JUST  HARD.  Mrs. Shen is leaving me with the best memories about  Vaughn, Lenny, Sexy AF Sinners, about the rest of ASH kids… and WITH my dearest friend – THE BIGGEST BOOK HANGOVER EVER.

I was sure, Angry God will be a battle - Vaughn Spencer is such a Baron Spencer’s son. Being Prince Charming is not his story to tell. Vaughn KNOWS what he wants. Vaughn FIGHTS with His demons… but He harness them immediately. Lenny is a one and only competition for Him. She’s  powerful. She’s brave. AND… She’s  challenging Vaughn, on so many levels.  L.J. Shen  didn’t only give us Vaughn and Lenny’s story …. She created their own universe… their own gravity.. Their own hell… THEIR OWN HEAVEN.

After reading Angry God There is no way back home –  You live Todos Santos Drama. You Breath Todos Santos Drama. You can only FALL IN LOVE MORE  with Lenny … with Vaughn… with Daddy Vic and Millie.

First of all, I absolutely adored the Sinners of Saint series and when I found out there were books about their kids, I almost died.

LJ Shen DID NOT disappoint- leaving Vaughn Spencer for last was not a mistake. He is my all time favorite - not only All Saints character but quite possibly my favorite LJ Shen character, ever. I never thought anyone would take Baron “Vicious” Spencer’s place in my heart, and then here comes his heir in all his equally (even more?) dark, and sexy glory. Vaughn Spencer is so mysterious and so beautiful. He has all the sexy dark arrogance of his dad but with the heart and artistic soul of his mom. He is everyyythingggg.

This whole book and series is everything I never knew I needed. Seeing the hot holes as dads and who their kids grew up to be completely filled my heart. lJ Shen did such a fantastic job of adding just enough of past characters that you get your fix without it taking over the story or being too much. In this book you get all of the witty banter and explosive chemistry from the past and it will take you on a roller coaster of emotions.

I deeply felt Vaughn and Lenny and all their emotions, so much angst and tension. Vaughn is so cold and deranged, absolutely ruthless. Thankfully, there was Lenora who was able to penetrate through the darkness and was able to love this messed up man, so hard. Everything in the story was just so absolutely raw and beautiful. Ugh I could go on and on for days. I cannot recommend this book, this series and the series before enough.

So long Todos Santos, it has been a wild ride.

Only L.J. Shen can rip your heart into a thousand little pieces, neatly put it back together, then hand it to you all wrapped up in bloody little bow and say... “you’re welcome,” and weirdly enough, you’ll thank her for it. Heck, you’ll even come back for more. Shen has mastered the art of the not so cute meet cute along with the utterly irredeemable morally grey hero. Her books are wildly addicting, and Angry God is Shen at her finest.
Angry God was three hundred and some odd pages of utter devastation. I’m talking sobbing, ugly crying hot mess kind of devastation. The kind where you desperately want to throw the book at the wall, but you just can’t seem to let go. Vaughn Spencer is a heartbreakingly beautiful character who is every bit as vicious as he is sweet, and Lenora matches him hit for hit. They are a dynamic duo. So, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

This book was EVERYTHING!!! Vaughn and Lenora's story was full of drama, laughs, surprises, revenge, hate, love and so much more. There was never a dull moment in this story and if you haven't figured it out by now, I LOVED IT!! Not only did I love the back and forth banter between Lenora and Vaughn, but I absolutely loved the parts with Vaughn, his dad and his mom. When it comes to them actions speak louder than words and sometimes words are not needed, a look says it all. Vaughn definitely had my heart. I loved that Lenora was no push-over either. When everything was finally revealed regarding Vaughn, his parents did not disappoint. There's no limit to what Vicious would do when it comes to his family and he proved it again. The ending was sweet but it definitely left me wanting more. I wanted that moment with Vaughn and his entire family. However, this book did not disappoint and I'll be recommending it to family and friends.
