Blair rushes to Seattle because she is worried her estranged sister (Evianna) has cancer, but is surprised when she’s actually missing. For whatever reason, her sister’s husband refuses to involve the cops to look into her disappearance, but hopes Evianna’s millions of social media followers will notice her absence and raise the alarm. At the same time, she’s not sure if an unhinged follower is the cause of Evianna’s disappearance.
This is a quick but thrilling read, and it’s interesting to learn more about the sister’s past as we’re learning about the circumstances of her disappearance. The two sisters are estranged and it adds a fun dynamic to her disappearance. Evianna’s public persona and private persona are at odds the more we learn, and it makes for a great story!
I started this book and quickly realized how unrealistic it was. If my sister went missing, I most certainly would not have avoided the police because her husband said we should. Especially after he started acting super fishy.
The premise of this story was a good one. Had it been a bit more realistic, it could have been a fantastic read/listen. The narrator was really good and added great tone to the story!
I loved this book. It’s about a woman whose sister disappears. She rushes to her sister’s home to begin searching for her. But, the more she uncovers, the more confused she becomes….. and the more danger she is in.
The plot itself is fairly interesting, but the characters are very unrealistic which detracts from the whole story.
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for my advance copy of this audiobook
This was a fast paced, intense psychological thriller!
Following two estranged sisters, the author takes us on a journey of deception, jealously and greed.
I enjoyed the past and present timelines, as we got to know the sisters from their time growing up to their now. Sibling relations can be complicated and these two sisters definitely have a lot gong on, both from the past and their current relationships.
I don’t want to say too much without giving away the plot, but it's clever and oh-so-good. Expect a book exploring toxic and complex relationships, social media influences, lots of red herrings and a gasp out loud final twist. The audio narration by Amelia Sciandra was fantastic and really kept the novel alive.
Many thanks to @netgalley and @dreamscape for ALC 🎧
This is an enjoyable psychological thriller, which was easy to listen to, especially as the narrator did a great job.
The story itself is about two sisters called Evianna and Blair, who have been estranged for years. Evianna's husband Simon contacts Blair to tell her Evianna has cancer and asks her to come immediately. Of course, Blair goes to help, but she is surprised to find that Evianna is missing. Where can she be, and who is responsible for her disappearance? And why is Simon acting so strange? As the story goes on, we learn more about the women's childhood and family, and about Evianna's influencing work. I was a bit surprised at the ending, but I enjoyed and book and I highly recommend it.
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
This is quite an exiting story about two sisters: Blair, a social worker and Eviana, a wealthy social media influencer.
Simon, Eviana’s husband, informs Blair, that her sister is is missing. And of course she wants to find her.
Throughout the story we learn, that Simon's and Eviana's marriage is not what they want others to think about it. And everybody seems to hide something.
The story took off into a direction I wouldn't have guessed but enjoyed a lot mainly because of the two timelines. And of course the social media apsect gives it another popular vibe!
Amelia Sciandra does a great job narrating this audiobook!
Thanks #NetGalley #Dreamscape Select, Bookouture for this copy!
A rather middle of the road read, although there was a lot of potential.
2.5 stars rounded up to 3.
Thank you to Dreamscape, Bookouture, and NetGalley for the audiobook version of this story in exchange for an honest review.
Estranged sisters, social media conniption, family trauma, masterful twists and addictive reading make for this one a stimulating book. Deceit, surprise, untruths and ultimately murder, get ready for a choppy trip.
Blaire is a social worker, estranged from her sister since college, snippets of why are divulged as the story unfolds and she tries to discover what has happened to her sister, fearing that her husband has killed her and is bringing her back to set her up for the fall.
But as Blaire investigates, she finds herself in danger, assaulted, stalked, her sisters so called friends each with something to hide, and axes to grind you get a niggling feeling that someone is orchestrating the entire scenario, manipulating the players for their own endgame and delight.
A good listen but very frustrating in parts, why on earth wouldn’t you call the police if your sister is missing??
I found myself shouting at the narrator multiple times!

This was a lot of fun and just what I was in the mood for. I was able to listen to it all in one go while I worked
Narration was great. Plot was great. Characters were well fleshed out. Overall this was a good read--my first by the author.
The MC was an interesting character, so many times I wanted to jump into the story and and smack some sense into her, but her lack of common sense made for a great story.
**please note due to low rating I will not be leaving a public review for this book as I have not paid for it.**
Narrated by Amelia Sciandra ⭐⭐
Didn't lover her voice, didn't hat it, but also don't think I personally want to listen to further book narrated by Amelia Sciandra
Story by Dea Poirier ⭐⭐
On paper this story sounded really good, but upon delivery something captivating was missing. This book goes around and around and around far too much. Even though the story itself is fast paced, overall it's just dull.
This is the first time I've tried this author, honestly I would not be in a hurry to try another book unless I stumble on something that sounds interesting on KU, nor do I think I would recommend this particular book to my fellow reader.
As Blair receives news that her sister is missing, she rushes to help her sister’s husband, Simon uncover clues to where she is. As Blair and Simon both become suspicious of each other, it’s hard to tell who is telling the truth. Although Blair’s character seems underwhelming at times, I enjoyed the suspense and mystery in this novel.
The narrator did a great job bringing this story to life. Recommended for those who enjoy this genre,

Those who enjoy mystery novels with a family dynamic twist may want to consider Dea Poirier's 'Have You Seen Her'. Narrator Amelia Sciandra has a natural, pleasant voice, and she definitely knows how to use it. However, it's important to note that the story has some drawbacks that could detract from the listening experience. One of the main issues is the portrayal of the characters, with Blair's sister, Eviana, being portrayed as selfish and shallow, while Simon, her husband, is controlling and threatening. Blair herself can come across as naive and frustrating, making rooting for her difficult childhood.
Additionally, the story is repetitive in places, with the author frequently reminding that Blair has always been in her sister's shadow. Some plot points seem forced, and the ending may overwhelm some readers. Despite these flaws, the mystery is intriguing, with plenty of twists and turns to keep listeners/readers engaged, and the pacing is solid with easy-to-follow writing. Overall, 'Have You Seen Her' is an average read that may appeal to mystery fans. Still, those looking for well-rounded characters and a believable storyline may consider other options.

This book gets into the action pretty quickly and keeps the pace going. It is fast paced and full of twists and turns. There is a dual timeline with current events as well as flashback chapters about the sisters growing up.
I was completely pulled into the book and convinced I had it figured out but the twist at the end was not exactly what I was expecting.
The narration by Amelia Sciandra is extremely well done. She kept my attention and brought to life the emotions and atmosphere of the book.
The only reason I am giving this one three stars is because the ending did leave me feeling like I still had some questions. However if you love a fast paced thriller that will keep you guessing I highly recommend this one.
I have mixed feelings about this book. The narrator was good and the story was pretty good but I didn't care for any of the characters. Blair seemed so dense I was yelling at her in my mind half the time for the choices she made (like agreeing with Simon not to go to the police). Evalina sounded like a pretty despicable person and her friends seemed catty and vapid. I don't know much about 'influencers' but what I do know doesn't impress me.
There seemed to be a lot of repetition in the book and needless reminders that Blair was always second to her sister in every way. Actually, I got so I didn't care if the sister was ever found, didn't care what Simon did, and wished Blair would just leave the whole mess and go back to Seattle. It's an ok mystery but not a favorite.
We follow Blair as she tries to find her sister, who is a social media influencer that has recently posted some questionable content. I like that this story includes current technology and the issues that can arise from being an influencer. The alternating story lines allows the reader to get a glimpse into Blair and Evianna's childhood while simultaneously trying to solve her disappearance.
Once again, Amelia Sciandra has done a great job narrating this novel. I am looking forward to listening to more books narrated by Amelia in the future.
Another exciting thrill ride from Dea Poirier! I loved this book. Talk about twisty with one shock after another right up until the end!! The narrator was great, too, and I kept those ear buds in and devoured this book!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This book was so gripping! I could not wait to find out what was going on in this book. There were moments that I was convinced Blair was pretending she did not know where her sister was. That ending was so great and unexpected.
