I had been waiting for this book when Verity would find out who this Phantom was but my life required me to take a pause in my reading so I kind of forgot about this series. So, I was very excited when I could get back to my reading to get back into this series.

And wow, how did Rafe think he could get away with pretending to court a young lady and then drop the courtship?! You could just see disaster coming but Verity was surprisingly accepting when she found out.

There were so many twists and turns and Rafe had to rule out Verity's family - people that he really liked! - to find the traitor who was sending the messages to France.

I loved that Verity helped Rafe on multiple occasions to get the information that he was missing - sometimes it was just hilarious that she knew what he spent nights at the tavern trying to find out!

This was such a fun book with romance, humor, drama, and almost non-stop action that it was hard to put the book down until you get to the end and the HEA.

I loved this book. Just the right amount of mystery and romance. It kept me guessing until the very end. You won't want to put it down! I know I didn't.

Thank you #NetGalley for the advanced copy of #AccidentallyHis by Sabrina Jeffries in exchange for an honest review.

This has been an incredible series and this was a great way to end it. Accidentally His can be read as a standalone but you get glimpses of this couple in the 1st two books in the series so I'm glad I read those first but again, it could totally be read without reading the other 2 books in this series. Sabrina Jeffries really knows how to blend plot with character development very well. I enjoyed reading about the mystery in this book just as much as the romance between Verity and Rafe. Now that I've finished this series by Sabrina Jeffries, I need to find another one of hers and get started on it.

This was a fun story, I certainly enjoyed it. The character were developed well and thought out, and it was set during my favorite time period as well.

Sabrina Jeffries has been a go-to author since the beginning of my historical romance journey over 20 years ago. They never fail to create a brand new storyline with refreshing characters and witty banter . Jeffries HEA equation never fails to keep my eyes glued to the page.

Verity and Rafe complement each other in an intellectual sense. They match wits and I found myself giggling at their encounters, intrigued at the way they stimulated each other’s minds like two pieces of a puzzle coming together. Rafe happens to be a very intelligent spy who has been working undercover in London with nobody the wiser as to what his true identity is.

When he finally decides to continue his assignment as himself, he is completely unaware that Verity already has her suspicions as to who he is. She calls his the Phantom when he is in his disguises, and she’s been keeping a close eye on him. So close, in fact, that she keeps a notebook handy with all her suspicions written down. Although I didn’t get a clear motive as to why Verity had begun her suspicions of the Phantom in the first place, the story and characters made for a great read.

Reading about these two made for such an entertaining read and reminded me how much I adored reading from Jeffries. Another win for Sabrina!

I loved finally getting Verity's story. She's so incredibly smart and resourceful. Rafe didn't stand a chance. Of course, he was going to fall in love with her even if he was trying to concentrate entirely on his mission.

Accidentally His was such a wonderful conclusion to this series. Each book was a pleasure to read, and I truly hope the ladies of Elegant Occasions end up being featured in more books!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Sabrina Jeffries' "Accidentally His" is the conclusion to the Designing Debutantes series, ending with Verity's story.
After several hints and mysterious appearances through the first 2 books in the series, Verity is no closer to unmasking 'The Phantom'. Meanwhile, Rafe Wolfford has been on the hunt for a French spy on English shores and is finally forced to come face to face with Verity,
With time running out, he needs to find the spy and ends up finding that love can bloom in the most unexpected circumstances.
Jeffries' signature blend of romance and intrigue shines in this story, making it a perfect end to the series.

Rafe is a spy, a very good one, a master of disguise, known as the chameleon. However, his reoccurring presence, in whatever camouflage he wears is noted by Lady Verity. She is the third sister owner of Elegant Occasions and in charge of the delicious foods served at their special events. In his spy role, he needs to don his true identity, a viscount’s heir. He must observe Verity's family to find the traitor who is helping the French and for seriously wounding his beloved uncle. Their attraction is almost immediate, but then he does look a little familiar to Verity. Will their mutual attraction be able to hold when she finds out his mission is to investigate her family. The author throws the reader quite a few potential villains to blame but does not reveal who it is until the very end. This the third and last of the series and maybe the best one.

A suspicious Verity wonders if the Viscount's heir, Rafe, is really the "Phantom." She keeps seeing a man in different disguises among the guests at the parties she and her sisters plan as the owners of Elegant Occasions. Rafe is indeed a spy and is irked Verity is on to him. He plans to woo her as a way to infiltrate her family circle. Someone she knows is a traitor. This book is full of intrigue and excitement with a smart and observant female lead character. It's book three of the series and we get to see the other two sisters and their growing families from the previous books.

A satisfying conclusion to the Designing Debutantes series. Youngest sister Verity uncovers the truth about the Phantom she’s been seeing at various occasions hosted by her family, and the truth may put her in danger. Thankfully, viscount’s heir Rafe is on the case. This was enjoyable but could have been a little shorter. The last act dragged a bit.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

I have enjoyed this series from Sabrina Jeffries! Verity has appeared in the last two books - and finally gets the chance to solve a mystery. And to find love.

Definitely worth a read. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

Truthfully, I picked this one because of the cover. I didn't even realise that I had read the first two. However, I am so glad I picked this one up. This series has been full of strong female characters that won't let a bit of scandal keep them down. Each story also includes a bit of a mystery and it was wonderful to realise the MMC (Rafe) had been present through the first two books in the series. I love a historical romance but what I really love about this book and this series was the plot and the spice was a wonderful addition. Definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a mystery with a bit of spice, but not an intense, angsty plot.

Despite a slow start, the romance and mystery both pick up as the book goes along. They mystery at first seemed like a distraction and a bit pointless; suddenly it became integral to the book without much warning. The characters are fun if formulaic, but fans of Sabrina Jeffries and traditional historical romance will not be disappointed.

Definitely the BEST of the series! Jeffries penned a real masterpiece this time. I really loved the touch of mystery and action and for once the “villain” even surprised me! Verity is really a GREAT character, smart, strong, perceptive and I adored Rafe with his vulnerability despite his strength of character. I even cried a bit at the end! This book had really everything I look for in a historical romance and I’m really sorry this gorgeous series has come to an end.

Since I had begun reading the Dazzling Debutante series by Sabrina Jeffries, I have been intrigued by this "Phantom" who was visible only to Verity. Now we finally get to know who he is and how what he does connects to the trio of sisters. Since we last saw the sisters, they had made good and loving marriage with men who are best suited for them. And now it's Verity's turn.

Rafe Wolfford is an army man who has served as a soldier for the crown for many years and had been a spy for a few of those years. Owing to the information that someone around the sisters is passing on confidential information to the enemy army, he has been spying the sisters and the people around them to find out who is the traitor.

Thus cross the paths of Rafe and Verity with the both of them irresistibly being drawn to each other. Will their relationship flourish? Will it be able to withstand the burden of lies and deceit that Rafe had to perpetuate?

Jeffries has brought this inspiring series to a wholesome conclusion through this book. Verity was always very much more different than her sisters and the man she ended up with should be someone who is open to and secure enough with his clever wife. We get that kind of hero with Rafe which is refreshing. The intrigue of the identity of the traitor was not earth- shattering but it was interesting enough. I especially loved the emotional journey of Rafe and Verity. Both are the kind of intelligent and sensible people who deserve each other.

Do not miss this series if you are into light and inspiring historical romance which touch your heart. Can't wait to read more of Jeffries.

Sabrina Jeffries has become one of my must read authors. Rafe and Verity's story is no different. Readers will love the chemistry between the two. This was a book that I could not put down.

We've come to the end of the sisters story & Elegant Occasions events. I like the idea of the sisters finding a way to support themselves without being too far outside the Ton. That's a fine line to walk for an author.

Verity is the food part of the business, she knows what she's doing, has a great French chef, & apparently delivers a good experience to the customer. The matchmaking seems to be secondary to the business but it's still going on. We finally get to know who the Phantom character from the other books is & why he's been skulking around the family & events. Rafe is supposed to be a super spy, the Chameleon, and it's a bit unbelievable that Verity recognizes him 16 times no matter which disguise he's wearing, how could she see his real face? For it to be true he's a horrible spy and it becomes slapstick comedy. Of course there's a huge attraction & they fool around in places that should have led to a compromise early in the story. When it finally happens her ex-suitor is involved and where the heck did he come from? It's explained but it provided an opportunity for adding drama that was dropped. I'm on the fence about this book. I like it somewhat & the writer is very good. The cons were enough that I noticed them and didn't gloss over.

3.5 Stars Rafe (a super spy) and Verity (a party planner with keen observational skills) meet, make out, and unmask the traitor! Rafe is working to uncover the traitor who is operating a smuggling ring and needs to use the cover of Verity's matchmaking house party. Instalove between the two characters and a really hot swimming scene. The third book in the series which can be read as a standalone (but I wouldn't recommend it because you'll miss out on too much backstory).
