I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.

In this installment of the Ninja Kitties story, the Fang Gang starts a fire at the castle, but poor Mia doesn't have very good control of her water power. She works hard with Grandma Tabby, never giving up, to get better control of her power. Ultimately she's able to create a giant water bubble and save the day. The story teaches that hard work will pay off in the end.

I thought this was a cute little tale, although I was personally annoyed by the reintroduction to the Ninja Kitties. But since I'm way older than the target demographic which actually does really well with repetition, my annoyance is largely irrelevant. Even with the initial annoyance, I would absolutely be okay with reading this book a few times. The illustrations were bold, colorful, and fun. Overall I give Ninja Kitties Save the Castle 4.1974 out of 5 stars.

A painful attempt at a franchise for the very young – and I mean very young. Almost half this book is spent setting up which colour Ninja Kitty is which and what their powers are, allowing the plot little space to show itself – and for the action – and I mean "action" – to be presented in really awkward, disjointed stop frames with no flow between them at all.

Basically here one of them has the hump because she's finding her powers far too hard – she generates balls of water, and can barely succeed in getting out a drop (this one therefore is better read before some others in the franchise – if you must – where she is a dab hand at not being a damp squib). Can she get persuaded to try again, and will the ninja way to success prevail?

You bet, but it's one of the cheesiest, most basic things to ever bet on. These books really are some of the loosest, daftest and so, so broad nonsense, and I remain convinced young readers deserve a lot better than this – one and a half stars.

This was a quick read with adorable graphics. There are a lot of different ninja kitties but this one focuses on Mia. This book will be good for younger audiences as the story is pretty basic. This is a great transitional reader for kids ready to start reading on their own.

Never give up on yourself! Believe in the power of Ninja Goodness!

Very cute and well done. I will be carrying this at the comic book store where I work.

I love this series. Reminds me so much of powderpuff girls but in a more subtle way.

The girls are trying to save their community from a raging fire especially Mia who has the best ability to save this situation.

She tries her best but is losing confidence. Once she builds up enough courage, she does try harder. Read the book to know what happens!

It’s a super fun short book to read with the kids. The pages are colourful filled with eye popping illustrations.

Thank you, Happy Fox Books, for the advance reading copy.

Who loves cats? Or, more like, is there anyone who doesn’t love cats?
Add cute, super cute drawings to the mix, give each kitty a superpower, and watch the story unfold. Super cute, and the kitties have personality, and they do good. Also, even the (failed) villains are cute! Super adorable and cute little story!
