Saturday AM Annual 2024 is an explosive manga anthology of action, mystery, and adventure that showcases manga from diverse authors around the world. First, readers will get short stories from already published Saturday AM titles like Apple Black, Clock Striker, and Hammer that feature fun pieces that develop the characters’ growth, plot, and trajectory. Then, readers will get two interviews from renowned artists: Uru-chan, author of the super popular webtoon UnOrdinary, and Sandford Greene, illustrator of the comic Bitter Root and other creative projects. Both interviewees explain their creative process, how they got to where they are now, and advice for young artists who want to be in the industry. Lastly, we have more manga short stories from artists in Jamaica, Brazil, Lithuanian, and more! This is definitely a good manga read for those starting to get into manga, inspiring artists, and for kids of color who want to see themselves in exciting manga worlds, fights, and scenarios. Saturday AM has done a wonderful job highlighting stories from different authors around the world who want to create and celebrate manga that will appeal to a wide audience, in terms of racial diversity, but also genre, age, content, art style, and maturity. Please check out their manga titles if you can, and definitely grab a copy of this Annual edition if you are interested in diverse manga stories, art, and artists!

This is another great collection from Saturday AM, with stories from around the world. The stories are meant to showcase diversity but they deserve to be on any shelf. I read the collection from 2023 and it was gorgeous, with clear gorgeous pictures. I also like how these annuals have interviews and information about the artists.
You won't like every one of these graphic novels, but that's the fun of getting something with so much variety.
I really enjoyed reading the magazine.
There was a very good selection of stories that caught my attention and transported me to their worlds.
Every story has something different and the characters are super fantastic.
I really want to pick up some volumes of these stories.
5/5
Saturday AM 2023 is filled with action packed manga stories from artists all around the world. Each story delivers something new and has a diverse cast of characters. Each chosen story was a great insight to each series, and I would be super interested to look more into the curated stories.
I was also happy to see an interview of one of my favourite webtoon artists, Uruchan.
I don’t want to pick favourites… BUT my favourites were Apple Jack and Spoon.
