Brennan is back in his own happily ever after story! He likes being the manager of the Double Shot but he is not totally happy with his life. A woman from his past reappears in his life after 7 years and now he can't keep his past a secret anymore. Can they rekindle their love? Will his continue to try to bury his past?

Brennan has a really interesting story. The author created a character that has a solid reason to be "hiding" in Pine Mountain. As his story is slowly revealed he becomes even more interesting. His story is full of angst and sadness and the author does a really good job of giving him a happy ending. He has a lot of emotional baggage to overcome before he can move on with his life. Ava is a good addition to Brennan's story because he needs a reason to slowly open up so he can move forward. She has an angst filled backstory but she's not as compelling a character as Brennan. There are lots of characters from prior stories. There are new characters and locations introduced. There is a bad guy.

This is a contemporary small town second chance firefighter bar romance. Jeez! Lots of tags on this story! Both characters are adults with careers. I would recommend reading the prior stories because Brennan is introduced in prior stories. I will read more from this author in the future.

Nick Brennan and Ava were in love seven years ago. But one day, Ava left and they haven't seen each other since then. Until now.
A lot of things have changed in seven years, they are different people now, but the sparks between them are still there.
I liked the story although it was a little bit predictable in some parts.

This book was so much fun! My first read by this author and can’t wait to read more!

Give me a small town romance that includes the holidays and a firefighter and I’m all about it!

I’m going to go back and read the other books in this series!

A sweet book. Loved these characters. Love this series. I can’t get enough of the books from Ms. Kincaid. She always brings a smile to my face when reading her books. I highly recommend this book along with any from this author. She’s one in a million.

As my first Kimberly Kincaid book I was very surprised with the easy and concise writing and compelling characters that she writes. This can be read as a stand-alone which is great for someone like me who didn’t read the previous books in the Pine Mountain collection. Well in All Wrapped Up It’s guaranteed from page 1 to fall in love with Nick and his low key hero personality and Ava who brings A LOT of baggage and feelings from the past. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and getting involved in their lives! Besides who doesn’t love firefighters?!!

Nick Brennan is on his way to work as the manager at Double Shot, when he smells smoke, and sees the local grocery store on fire. When a distraught mothers says her son is trapped inside, instinct kicks in and Nick rescues the little boy.
Ava Mancuso is a newspaper reporter on her way to cover another story when she sees fire trucks streak past her. Smelling a story, she follows them and reaches in time to see Nick come out of the burning building with a small boy.
7 years ago Nick and Ava had a summer romance, and thought they were both into each other, something made Ava leave without a goodbye. Could this be a second chance for them ?
I absolutely enjoyed this book. It’s my first book in the series but I had no problem jumping right in (though I will go back and read the previous ones) Nick and Ava are perfect for each other, and I loved watching them together. They both had issues but together they found a way to let go and be at peace together.
A truly heartwarming read with a swoon worthy HEA.

All Wrapped Up (Pine Mountain Book #7)
**Note this is a re-release

🎁Cozy small town. Pine Mountain
Series, can be read as a standalone.
🎁Second chances
🎁Christmas romance
🎁Headstrong Reporter
🎁Former Firefighter

☕🔥🔥🔥🔥 A scorchin hot read with love, loss, secrets, forgiveness, and acceptance. Caution, may lead to unexpected need to turn on the A/C. So steamy the pages ignite. May include a dash of Erotic elements or elude to further exploration of desire and need.

Nick Brennan has spent the past few years managing a bar hoping to forget the past. How long before the the layers of guilt and pain wear him down once and for all?

Ava Mancuso loves her job as a reporter. If she can get the "real story" behind the hero from the grocery store fire, she'll save her career.

With so much on the line, will she do the right thing? If she can survive facing her past, she might discover something greater than a front page story. Is she finally ready to trust and fight for the man she loves.

What would a story be without a few obstacles for Ava and Nick. Will they face it together or say goodbye once and for all?

I love a holiday themed romance in a series with characters we've grown to love with those little nuggets of time forward from when we saw them last.

Kimberly delivers all the feels, the scorchin heat, and a whole lot of fun. Plus, a heart racing hook that leaves you on the edge of your seat from the first page.

It’s time to head out to Pine Mountain for a drink at the Double Shot, sit down with old friends and catch up.

I received an advance copy from Kimberly Kincaid for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

One event changed the course of Nick’s life and he is still dealing with the physical and emotional aftermath. An act of heroism has not only thrust him in the spotlight but it also brings the woman he has never forgotten back into his life where he finds himself trying to protect both his secrets and his heart.

Ava has a difficult past and she knows that she owes Nick an explanation for the way their relationship ended. Her career depends on her writing a story about Nick but exposing his past could also destroy any possibility of them having a future together as well.

When Nick and Ava reunite it is as if the seven years they have been apart didn’t happen. This is a heartwarming story about love, forgiveness and second chances as Nick and Ava must realize what truly matters.

This book had me from the very beginning! It was very hard to put down once you started it. I am so glad it was time for Brennen's book.

4 1/2 stars. Great end to the series. This was a reread for me. The author rereleased this book with new material. I enjoyed the second chance romance. Nick and Ava were good match. They had a lot of chemistry. He was completely justified in getting mad at the end. I knew a HEA was coming so all was well. This was the first series I read by this author. It caused me to go read everything else.

This was an ok book - the characters, the story line, and the writing were all just ok to me. It did not hold my interest quite like I wanted it to.

Overall this was a good book. It took me a bit to really get invested with the characters but eventually I liked where they were headed. I think the characters had a good connection and that they were perfect for each other.

I like this author and her books are always engaging and have great real characters.
Brennan is a former firefighter who’s hiding out, managing a small-town bar so he can forget his haunted past. Ava is a headstrong reporter—a.k.a. the woman who got away—assigned to break the story when he runs into a burning building to save a little boy. Seven years have passed since they’ve seen each other after their scorching summer fling. Stir in old hurts, brand-new chemistry that burns hotter than ever, and holiday spirit with a sweet and sexy happily ever after.
I liked these two. It’s always beautiful to read second chances romance. I really like Brennan, Ava not so much. But this book is super easy to read, with great steamy moments, interesting secondary characters and deep and emotional dialogs. It’s well written and engaging.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Brennan thought he'd successfully escaped the trauma that made him leave the fire department years ago. But settled into a small town, happy to work a low-key job and keep a low profile, his life is unsettled again when there's a fire at a local business, and he rushes in to save a young boy still inside.

Ava is a reporter, mostly sidelined by a mistake she made years ago. She's on her way to cover a small town school math contest (yes, you read that right!) when she sees smoke nearby. She and her photographer follow the firetrucks to a local grocery store, fire blazing, when a familiar face comes out of the blazing inferno with a young boy on his back.

Brennan and Ava have a history, and Ava uses it to get an exclusive with Brennan about the fire rescue. The moment they are alone together, sparks fly. There is so much trauma each of these characters have been through in the past, and their instincts to protect themselves from vulnerability wars with the inevitable explosive chemistry between them.

As with all Kincaid's book, the characters are so human with raw emotions, excellent plot, fun side characters (with cameos from earlier books), and a sizzling hot relationship. Excellent read!

Nick is a former firefighter and current bar manager. He's tried to move on from the trauma that made him leave the fire department. But one determined reporter may blow up his new life. Added bonus - she's also the one who got away!

Ava is dumbstruck to realise that the hero who saved a boy from a store fire is also her former flame, Nick. But when her Editor finds out the link between them he wants her to do a splashy piece on the heroic firefighter.

This was another great instalment in the series. Reunited lovers, PTSD sufferer, trauma survivor, survivor guilt - they all mingle to create a great story. Small town romance at its best.

This series seemed to get better as it went on and All Wrapped Up did exactly what the title states; wrapped up the series perfectly. Brennan is gruff and secretive, yet loyal and a teddy bear. When he rescues a little boy from a fire the walls he built around himself start to crumble as he is put in the limelight. Ava is a tenacious reporter who has been sidelined for years, due to a story that caused the paper she worked at to be sued. When she hears about and sees the fire she knows this story could save her career.

Nick doesn’t want to talk about it and definitely not to Ava. She left him seven years prior without a goodbye and he doesn’t think he can ever get past that. I liked how she owned up to what she did and why, even apologizing to him. As they spend time together old feelings start to resurface, but can they find a happy life together? Or will his secret and/or her career get in the way?

I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

A second chance romance that will
really grab your emotions and have you invested in these characters.

Both Ava and Brennan never got over their summer romance that ended suddenly 7 years ago. While Brennan was hurt over how Ava left suddenly without a word or even a goodbye, he still loved her.

The details of Brennan’a injury and the events surrounding it are very slowly shared throughout out the story. He is enduring physical and emotional pain, and keeping a tight rein on sharing what happened with anyone.

Ava is shocked when she sees Nick Brennan come barreling out of a fire that had fully engulfed small town grocery store with a child on his back. She was already in the scene as a reporter who stumbled across the fire while on her way to a special interest story. She had no idea her former boyfriend lived in the area, and she’s determined to get his story.

The chemistry between Ava and Nick is incendiary and the steam they generate is spicy!

Such an entertaining and satisfying read!

Nick Brennan has spent the last two years working at The Double Shot bar after a serious back injury ended his former career. Years ago, he thought he was in a committed relationship with Ava Mancuso, but she left him without a word. Now Ava has shown up at the bar and had no idea that Nick, who insists on using his last name, was back in Pine Mountain. He refuses to talk about the years he was away, but she knew he had planned to attend the fire academy. What changed his plans and how was he injured? Will Ava finally be able to tell him the reason she left him? She realizes that there is something in Brennan’s past that is keeping him from moving on. When he rescues a young boy from a fire, he refuses to discuss the rescue, but finally allows Ava, who is a local reporter, to report the facts. When her editor expects her to research and report Brennan’s past history, she must decide what is more important, the story or Brennan. A second chance romance that’s worth reading. Brennan is a former firefighter who was injured on the job. Ava is a small town reporter. The two had not seen each other in seven years. This is a warm and interesting story with wonderful characters. The plot sees the characters getting a chance to reconnect and get a chance to discover each other again. The dialogue is moves the story along quickly and keeps the reader turning the pages. Brennan and Ava make a magical couple all the way to the end.
