I think just the concept of a tall mannequin coming to life and the way the author describes how it moves was creepy. But the story itself was just lacking. It was extremely rushed and there was times that the story went over to another person and you didn't realize it. It was just meh.

I've watched many dummy movies and they always creep me out. This book definitely had me feeing just as creeped out as watching a horror film.

Just like any other ventriloquist dummy horror fiction. Didn't do a lot to keep me invested and brought nothing new to the table at all. This may be for someone out there but definitely not for me.
