An absolutely phenomenal book. I loved the storyline. It broke my heart and made me cry but also gave such a true family feeling that I couldn't put it down. Thea was so brave and smart that she seemed surprised when good things happened to her. The storyline and the characters have such a flow that you have to finish it as quickly as you can. this book is my new favorite and will be recommending it to everyone.

This romantic suspense will grab your attention right at the beginning, and you won't be able to put it down. Thea's parents took her and her brother to Kentucky for a two-week visit with their grandmother and returned to Virginia. They were then murdered and she, and her grandmother, instantly know what happened. They both have the gift of sight and being able to see the truth. The murderer also has this gift, and the plot thickens as he and Thea each know what the other is thinking. A page-turner that will cause you to lose a little sleep. Well written with lots of emotion and depth. I read a free book via Net Galley and voluntarily chose to write a review.

It’s one of those books where it looks as though everything is falling apart, but you just know that things can’t possibly be as they seem. You hold out hope and cross your fingers that things aren’t as black and white as the characters think they are. And you’re rewarded in spades. Nora Roberts, has done it again. I knew, they would never let me down. 10/10 read!!

In short there is no one like Nora Roberts. Her books are filled with characters that take on a life of their own. And in MIND GAMES Nora Roberts outdoes herself. From start to finish this story has you hooked. It’s the little aside references that get me every time. A song, an event, a link between characters. MIND GAMES is just a masterpiece.

One of the lead characters Thea and her brother Rem lost their parents in a tragic manner. The event is written concisely and detailed at the start of this story. It is life altering for many folks and that is just the beginning of a saga of life, challenges, and revenge. Thea is a software genius, her forte is gaming. Her ideas come from dreams but her life itself is ripe with ongoing nightmares that she fights to keep in the background. Thea shares a inborn talent of sorts with grandma Lucy. They see things, they are sensitive. A curse and a blessing you might say.

Lucy has brought up both Thea and Rem. This trio is tight. And the love between them is palatable. Another nod toward Nora Roberts.

MIND GAMES is a sort of adventure tale much like Thea’s games. In this case we are the audience to their lives which is filled with wonders and worries. In the end it’s how you manage these passages in your life. Kind if like the challenges inserted in a game. Watch out for pitfalls. Make good decisions. And most importantly never back down, remain strong.

Oh so very clever. That is what will surely pop into your mind frequently while reading MIND GAMES. Nora Roberts pulled out all the stops and dug deep into her creative mind to come up with this larger than life tale about games and life and love and trust. Well the list goes on never ending which is how you will feel when you get to the last page. More, more I want more. That’s Nora Roberts for you.

This is a difficult review to write since I would be terribly remiss giving away much of the plot. It’s for the reader to unfold. Suffice it to say, MIND GAMES is a true page turning gem penned by the awesome Nora Roberts. Put this one on your must read list.
