West Palm Part II: The Courteous Killer by Joss Cordero takes us deeper into the story of Zach, our killer, and Tara, the victim who is attempting to solve her own attempted homicide. Along the way, we get brief glimpses of other potential victims who encounter Zach. These transitions can be a bit jarring, as the narrative jumps around quickly, making it difficult to keep track of whose perspective we are following at any given moment. I continue to find myself intrigued by the story and wondering where it is going to go. One aspect that I'm not really enjoying is with Tara's PI, Smoker, who you see being infatuated by Tara to then find out he's actually married, so if that is something you don't want to read about I would skip West Palm.
