Snowed In by Catherine Walsh is a cosy, easygoing read that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

Megan is dreading returning to her small Irish hometown for the holidays. Leaving her fiance Isaac at the altar has not put her in the best light locally, and the town gossips will not move on. Christian, meanwhile, is also less than thrilled with his return from Dublin to the small town where he grew up with Megan, not because he minds being alone at Christmas, but because of the pressure placed upon him by his loving, but opinionated, family. A chance meeting in a Dublin pub will have Megan and Christian hatching a plan to get through the holidays by posing as a loving couple. It is all a harmless farce born out of necessity, until a snowed in night in a romantic cabin changes everything.

This was an enjoyable read, and I have to say that it was much racier than what I have come to expect from a Christmas-themed rom-com. Hallmark, this is not, though it is guaranteed to spice up your holiday.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for an ARC.
