This book is part of the Sweater Weather series by various authors but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone.
Tasha is a bookstagrammer and is invited to a meet-the-author event where she will meet her favorite author Amelie de Pierre. Little does she know that said author is actually a man writing under a pseudonym. When she meets him they instantly like each other and spend some time together as friends. When, due to an issue with his visa, Pierre needs a fake american wife Tasha is willing to do him that favor. But - as all romance readers know - fake relationships hardly ever stay fake....
I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the main characters Tasha and Pierre and how their relationship develops. Pierre is the perfect book-boyfriend. I liked the supporting characters as well and would like to read more about Tasha's book-besties.
For me a perfect romance to enjoy in the fall with a pumpkin-spice latte.

A Not So Fictional Fall provides a wonderful escape into the cozy world of Harvest Hollow, a small town where autumn is in full swing. I was captivated by the vivid imagery that transported me into a season of colorful leaves and charming coffee shops. Think Gilmore Girls fall episodes. Absolutely perfect vibes.

At the heart of A Not So Fictional Fall, is Pierre and Tasha. The two have been thrust into a fake marriage, a marriage of convenience if you will. Savannah Scott did a wonderful job of dealing with this tricky trope. It felt new, exciting, and handled very well. The chemistry between Pierre and Tasha is nothing short of wonderful! From strangers, to friends, to lovers they were incredible. I found myself kicking my feet and giggling like a teenager. I mean the pet names themselves; swoon. I need a French man to call me Cher stat!

The book also delivered on maturity and humor effortlessly. I found myself laughing with the characters on several occasions. Pierre and Tasha also communicate openly and act like responsible adults, a rare and refreshing trait in modern romance novels. Can we all say "Yay! No third-act breakup". Definitely pick this book up for yourselves and be prepared to transport to the beautiful town of Harvest Hollow.

Pierre and Tasha are sooo sweet, both as individuals and together. This book is such a cute fall read! The only thing I wish is that there was some spice! I think the addition of even an ounce of spice would have made it a 4 star read for me. But overall, I still think it is a super cute, fall read!

If you're looking for a seasonal, marriage of convenience book, I'd recommend reading this book!

Tasha is a bookstagrammer( shout out my bookish friends) who dreams of meeting her favorite author Amelie de Pierre. So of course when Amelie finally has a meet and greet Tasha couldn’t resist… little does she know Amelie de Pierre is actually a FrenchMAN named Pierre Toussaint!!!

The chemistry was there from the moment she drops her books and he helps her pick them up, so much so that after a dinner and night out with Tasha and her friends, pictures leaked and that’s where the real crazies begins

With a tour on the horizon and a mistake with the paperwork. The only solution is for Pierre to get married for a green card, so of course the convince Tasha to do( it didn’t take much).

Overall I loved this book, and I’ve never used google translate so much while reading in my life!!! But I needed to hear these phases in French.

I enjoyed this one! I really liked how the author snuck in some character appearances from her last book, “Are We There Yet?” It was fun to catch a tiny little glimpse into what Ben, Summer, and Cameron were doing hehe.

This book reminded me a bit of the movie The Proposal, only it’s more of an insta love/friends-to-more kind of trope. I loved how Tasha’s friends and Pierre’s family supported them through everything, and it was so fun that Tasha’s friends were met through bookstagram!

I would recommend this one as a clean, cozy, quick read, if you enjoy books with a marriage of convenience trope. 😊 Marriage of convenience isn’t my favorite, but I still liked this one.

Pierre’s publicist has decided it’s time for him to stop hiding behind the pen name to get even more attention. And they’re going to do it at a big book signing event at a resort. What he started as a date has turned into something he really enjoys and doesn’t want his life to change because of it.

Tasha is so psyched to meet her favorite author, maybe chat with her a little bit, impress her with the bit of French she’s learned for the event, and meet up with her booksta besties (loved that little add in). She misses the announcement at the signing event that Amelie is actually Pierre…and drops her books in front of him when she’s caught off guard. The cute French guy that looked like a professor she saw in the lobby is her favorite author?!

They end up running into each other a few times and hanging out. He enjoys her company. She’s really chill and makes him laugh. She’s saved him from crazed fans and feels like he’s found a friend in the US finally. They find out that they live near to each other.

Sooner than we expect, they’re brought together because Pierre finds out his visa is going to expire soon…way before his tour is over. His publicist comes up with the great idea of him and Tasha getting married in this whirlwind romance.

I love that Pierre is convinced he’s only romantic on paper and doesn’t know how to do relationships in person. He’s starting to fall for Tasha, but doesn’t want to get his heart broken again when they end up breaking up. Tasha is trying so hard to not fan girl Pierre and keep her heart safe too. But these two sillies do all sorts of things to surprise each other and keep drawing each other in…super cute and do I now find French hot? 😏

Savannah Scott’s ‘A Not so Fictional Fall’ has effortlessly stolen my heart and its place as my favorite book of the year! It’s a warm and inviting read, made for sweater weather. You’ll wish that you had a cup of hot apple cider by a crackling fireplace while indulging in the delicious slow-burn romance.

Diving into my first-ever ‘marriage of convenience’ read was more than i hoped! The story artfully weaves together moments of delightful awkwardness, palpable tension, and a simmering slow burn that had me glued to its pages, until I finished it in one-sitting.

As for the main characters, Tasha and Pierre, they are an absolute delight. Both characters are wonderful, rational, and kind making it easy for readers to connect with them. Pierre’s French origins added an extra layer of charm to the narrative, with endearing French pet names and phrases sprinkled throughout. Savannah’s portrayal of these characters is so flawless that I’d literally trust her with my life!

Such a cute read! I just love this sweater weather series and this one did not disappoint.
Tasha and Pierre just want to make you fall in love. I am a big fan of the fake dating/ marriage of convenience stories so this was perfect for me. You will enjoy both Tasha and Pierre and everything else about this romance.
It is a nice quick read, perfect to cozy up with a blanket and a nice warm beverage.

Tasha and Pierre were great together. Tasha is very down-to-earth, and I loved how the two of them seemed to match well. Lots of fun side characters. Family and friends. Plus, the author brought the bookstagram world into the storyline and how fans build friendships with each other over their love of books.

As far as fall romance books go, this one was adorable. I will say there is zero spice in this one, but it did not detract from the romance in the book. The trope in this one was a bit different from fake dating, as it was fake marriage. (I hadn't ever read one of those before.) When I read that that was a premise in the book, I was wondering what on earth could lead to such a thing, but it all made sense once it was laid out. The story surrounding this was actually pretty unique and well done. The characters were relatable, and you really wanted their relationship to work out for real in the end, because you could feel what they felt for each other. I enjoyed all of the seasonal elements, as they made for such a good read for this time of year. I would definitely recommend this to other readers looking for a fun, romantic, fall read.

Savannah Scott is one of my go to romcom authors. Her books have good tension but not spicy. This book was a fun theme. I loved the characters Ana’s the fake dating plot. The sweater weather series has been amazing. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more.

I am LOVING the Sweater Weather series, and A Not So Fictional Fall is another great title! Savannah Scott's book tells the story of Tasha, a romance reader and author's assistant/audiobook narrator, who has a meet-cute with the romance writer behind her favorite books, Pierre, and, in a convenient progression of events, finds herself married to him. Pretty soon the lines in their not-so-fictional marriage of convenience become blurred, and they end up falling hard.

This was a really fun spin on the marriage of convenience trope, especially with the added touch of his feminine pseudonym, and I enjoyed the author leaning hard into the French aspects of Pierre's life and personality. However, I felt like the relationship lacked substance. The first impressions the characters had of each were pretty much the extent of the depth that was developed, which was disappointing and made for a lot of repetition throughout the book. I also felt like Harvest Hollow was an afterthought, and I missed the cozy vibes and humor that the small town connection could have provided. But I still enjoyed reading and recommend this for a light, fun, fall read!

Without a doubt this is the most wholesome marriage-of-convenience book I’ve read. I read the first book in this collective series before I started this one to get an idea of what to expect. Even though each book is written by a different author, I figured they would have a similar vibe, which they do. They are absolutely what they say they are—sweet romance.

I enjoyed Tasha as a character in this one. She’s a romance reader, but she’s also made a career for herself in the industry as an audiobook narrator. It’s pretty glossed over, but I like that her own career is established and mentioned. I liked the spin of Pierre being a romance author behind a feminine pen name. It was a good way to take Tasha off guard in their first meeting. The two of them were sweet together, and I enjoyed reading as their feelings developed.

These books are essentially like a fall romance series of Hallmark movies. I always enjoy a good, comfortable story to embrace the vibe of a season, and this book hit the mark for that.

When they meet, there is instant attraction and they find out that they are actually living super close to each other back in NC. When they return, there are pictures of them leaked making it appear as if they are in a relationship and Pierre finds himself in need of a Visa and Tasah could help him get that with an arranged marriage.

This was such a sweet marriage of convenience story!! Tasha and Pierre obviously had instant chemistry and I loved Pierre’s best friend, Rome, trying to stir those feelings up. I also liked that Tasha got to meet some friends from bookstagram while on the trip to meet Amelie de Pierre! Overall, this was a sweet, swoon worthy read!
